HELLO, I HAVE A 2005 BUICK TERRAZA CX AWD. MY ABS AND TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS CAME ON AND WHEN IT DID THE VEHICLE STARTED TO APPLY THE BRAKES ITSELF PULLING THE VEHICLE TO THE LEFT WHILE DRIVING. I COULDN'T CONTROL THE VEHICLE. I STARTED READING UP ON THIS, AND IT APPEARS MANY OTHER OWNERS OF THIS VEHICLE BEEN HAVING THIS SAME UNSAFE PROBLEM OVER THE YEARS AND NO RECALL IS BEEN DONE. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE!!! I'M SURPRISE NO ONE HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND BEEN KILLED. I ALSO NOTICE THIS HAS BEEN REPORTED MANY TIMES AS WELL TO THE MANUFACTURE AND THEY HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING ABOUT IT BUT COME UP WITH EXCUSES TO THE OWNERS LIKE MYSELF. DO SOMEONE HAS TO BE KILLED BEFORE A RECALL IS DONE? I MYSELF IS GOING TO TAKE MY VIDEO I HAD FILMING ON MY WINDSHIELD WHEN THIS INCIDENT OCURRED AND SEND IT TO ALL THE MAJOR NEWS MEDIA GROUPS IN THIS COUNTRY AND PUT IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA AS WELL. THANK YOU FOR REVIEWING MY COMPLAINT, AND HOPEFULLY THE GOVERNMENT MAKE BUICK THE MANUFACTURE DO A SAFETY RECALL ASAP. I CAN'T UPLOAD MY VIDEO BECAUSE IT'S OVER THE MAXIMUM SIZE ALLOWED TO UPLOAD ON THIS WEBSITE.

AT 90,900 MILEAGE ON MY VAN, I STARTED EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH MY STABILITY CONTROL, ABS, AND MY TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM. WHEN DRIVING AT NUMEROUS SPEEDS, THE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM WOULD KICK IN, WOULD GRAB AT MY DRIVERS SIDE FRONT WHEEL AND MAKE THE VAN SWERVE TO THE LEFT. ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL, IT WOULD SAY TO "SERVICE STABILITY CONTROL". THIS HAS HAPPENED WHEN I WAS TRAVELING AT 40 MPH, AT 20 MPH, AND JUST STARTING TO DRIVE AFTER TAKING A TURN. THIS HAS ALSO HAPPENED TO ME TODAY TO WHERE I WAS PRESSING THE BRAKE AND THE TRACTION CONTROL KICKED IN ON DRY PAVEMENT WHILE I WAS GOING LESS THAN 30 MPH. I HAVE HAD MY 4 CHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE WHEN THIS HAS OCCURRED AND HAS SCARED THEM AS WELL AS MYSELF AND MY HUSBAND. THIS VEHICLE IS OUR MAIN FORM OF TRANSPORTATION.

THE 2005 BUICK TERRAZA IS EQUIPPED WITH A GM STABILITRACK SYSTEM, WHICH COMBINES ANTI-LOCK BRAKE, TRACTION AND STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEMS. I WAS DRIVING THIS VEHICLE AT 60 MPH ON A STRAIGHT ROAD DURING A DRY, SUNNY DAY AND FULLY LOADED WITH CAMPING GEAR, CHILDREN, THEIR COMPUTER GAMES AND MY WIFE. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLING A SMALL TRAILER. IN AN INSTANT, THE VAN LURCHED AS THE BRAKES ENGAGED ON THEIR OWN. WE LOST 20 MILES PER HOUR IN A SECOND. WE PITCHED FORWARD IN OUR SEAT BELTS, AND THE VAN SWERVED TO THE LEFT INTO THE OTHER LANE OF THE INTERSTATE. I STEERED AS BEST I COULD, BUT IT FELT LIKE SUGGESTING A DIRECTION MORE THAN DRIVING. EVERYTHING WAS MUSHY AND THE TRAILER WANTED TO KEEP GOING. WE PITCHED LEFT AND RIGHT TWICE. I MANAGED TO STEER TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER AND STOP. I BREATHED AND PRESSED ON THE HAZARD LIGHTS. THE KIDS ASKED WHAT HAPPENED, AND I MANAGED TO SAY THAT WE ONLY TOOK A YEAR OFF OF MY LIFE, SAVED THEIRS, AND ENDED THE LIFE OF THIS VAN. A MILE AHEAD, THE INTERSTATE WAS RESTRICTED TO ONE LANE GOING EACH DIRECTION.

HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM. I WAS GETTING VERY LITTLE HEAT AND LOTS OF COLD AIR SO I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER TO HAVE IT FIXED. THEY SAID THERE WAS A BROKEN DOOR ACTUATOR AND THE COMPUTER MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. VERY EXPENSIVE. SO THEY FIXED THE DOOR SO IT WOULD STAY CLOSED AND BLOCK COLD AIR. I BELIEVE THEY DISCONNECTED THE MODULE AS WELL. SO, NOW I HAVE A LITTLE HEAT, BUT NO AIR CONDITIONING. THE CAR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION AND I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING HAPPEN BEFORE IN ANY CAR, EVEN VERY OLD ONES! I BELIEVE THE PARTS MUST HAVE BEEN DEFECTIVE IN ORDER TO FAIL. I LIVE IN NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND AND I NEED HEAT!

I RECENTLY BOUGHT THIS 2005 BUICK TERRAZA CX. AS PER CARFAX THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED. AFTER A WEEK OF HAVING MY VEHICLE I WILL BE DRIVING AROUND AND THE SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT COMES ON AND THE VEHICLE WILL SCREECH ON ITS BREAKS AND PULL TO THE RIGHT. I HAVE TAKEN IT INTO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY REPLACED THE SENSOR AND A WEEK LATER IT CONTINUES TO RANDOMLY BRAKE WHEN EXCELLERATING, OR EVEN TURNING. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES NOW. IT IS VERY SCARY DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND ALL OF A SUDDEN YOUR VEHICLE SCREECHES TO A HALT AND HAS THE VEHICLE SWERVE.

WE WERE PULLING INTO WALMART PARKING LOT AND HIT STREET BUMP THAT TURN ONTO WALMART'S PROPERTY AND THE SUDDEN JERK MADE THE KEYS POP OUT OF THE IGNITION WHILE THE VAN WAS IN MOTION. THE KEYS WERE ON THE FLOOR BUT THE VEHICLE WAS STEEL IN MOTION. AS WE PARKED THE VEHICLE I PUT THE KEY BACK INTO THE IGNITION LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED. I TURN THE VAN OF, THEN WAITED A FEW MINUTE AND STARTED THE VEHICLE AND BEHOLD THE KEY WOULD SURELY COME OUT. I CONTACTED THE DEALER SIERRA CHEVROLET IN BARTLET, TN AND THEY CHECKED THE VEHICLE OUT AND SAID IT WAS A BAD CUT IN THE KEY. THAT MEANS A BUMP KEY WOULD START THE VEHICLE. THE IGNITION SWITCH IS FAULTY, AND SEEING GM RECALL LIST, THE BUICK TERRAZA 05 SHOULD BE ON THAT LIST. I'M WRITING BUICK/GM WITH THIS STATEMENT AND REQUEST. *TR

WHILE DRIVING ON A STRAIGHT ROAD AT 30 MILES AN HOUR I HEARD A STRANGE NOISE AND THE LEFT FRONT BRAKE CLOSED FOR A SECOND WHICH CAUSED THE STEERING WHEEL TO JERK TO THE LEFT. SINCE THAT FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN MANY TIMES WHILE DRIVING ANYWHERE FROM 15 TO 70 MILES AN HOUR. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO TWO DEALERS WHICH FOUND VARIOUS CODES. APPARENTLY THERE IS A SERVICE BULLETIN CONCERNING THE WIRING HARNESS BECAUSE BOTH DEALERS REROUTED THE HARNESS SEVERAL TIMES AND PUT A SHIELD ON IT EACH TIME. I HAD THE STEERING SENSOR REPLACED ONE TIME FOR $200 AND THE YAW SENSOR FOR $400. AFTER THE YAW SENSOR WAS CHANGED THE VEHICLE DID NOT GIVE ME ANY PROBLEM FOR A FULL YEAR. IT STARTED AGAIN SO THIS TIME I PULLED THE FUSE ON THE ABS BRAKES WHICH GIVES YOU STANDARD BRAKES AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY MORE PROBLEMS. I NOW HAVE 120,000 MILES. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SAFETY PROBLEM. IF I KEEP BOTH HANDS ON THE WHEEL I CAN REACT TO THE PROBLEM BUT I AM AFRAID TO LET MY WIFE DRIVE THE VAN. I LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT THE VAN SO I HATE TO GET RID OF IT. I HAVE DRIVEN CARS WITH OUT ABS BRAKES ALL MY LIFE SO I WILL CONTINUE TO DRIVE IT THIS WAY. I FEEL IT IS SAFER THIS WAY THAN LETTING THE BRAKE ENGAGE ON ITS ON. *TR

Summary

I WANT TO REPORT A VERY UNUSUAL INCIDENT THAT MY WIFE AND I EXPERIENCED JANUARY 7, 2014 INVOLVING OUR 2005 BUICK TERRAZA AUTOMOBILE. IT WAS A SCARY EVENT OF WHICH I AM STILL TRYING TO FIND THE EXACT CAUSE. WHILE DESCENDING FROM THE COCOA BRIDGE CROWN, AT AROUND FORTY FIVE MPH, I LIGHTLY APPLIED THE BRAKES TO ADJUST TO THE TRAFFIC SPEED. WHEN BAM THE LEFT WHEEL LOCK UP JERKING US TOWARD THE CEMENT RAILS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BRIDGE, THEN THE CAR TRACTION CONTROL' CUT IN AND SLOWED THE VEHICLE. OTHER CAR TIRES WERE SQUEALING AROUND US AS THEY WERE TRYING TO AVOID HITTING US. I WOULD SAY THE WHEEL LOCKUP WAS ONE SECOND OR LESS AND THE WHOLE INCIDENT LASTED FROM THREE TO FIVE SECONDS. THEN THE CAR RETURNED TO NORMAL OPERATION WITH NO FURTHER HINT OF THIS PROBLEM FOR THE NEXT FORTY MILES. I'VE LOOKED ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND SEVERAL REPORTS OF THIS SAME EXACT INCIDENT INCLUDING MANY COMPLAINTS ON YOUR SYSTEM. I TOOK THE CAR TO OUR LOCAL GARAGE AND THEY SAID THE ABS COMPUTER SYSTEM SHOWED NO FAULTS AND FOUND NO MECHANICAL REASON FOR THIS WHEEL TO LOCK UP. MY NEXT STOP WAS THE DEALER WHERE I BOUGHT THE CAR TWENTY FIVE MILES AWAY. LANE BUICK GMC CHECKED IT OUT AND REPORTED THE SAME THING EXCEPT THE MECHANIC WROTE 'CORRECTED BY SUSPENSION REPAIR' WHICH SUGGESTS THAT HE FIXED SOMETHING, WHAT EVER IT WAS. YET I UNDERSTOOD FROM THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE THEY COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING TO CAUSE THIS UNHEARD EVENT. I NEXT CALLED BUICK IN DETROIT, MI THEY WERE OF LITTLE HELP SAYING IF IT DIDN'T LEAVE ANY CODE ON THE COMPUTER, IT NEVER HAPPENED. THEN ASK IF I WOULD CONSIDER BUYING A NEW CAR AND TRADING THIS ONE IN. UNTIL I KNOW WHAT THE MECHANISM IS FOR THIS CAR BEHAVIOR, I WOULD NEVER UNLOAD THIS PROBLEM ON SOMEONE ELSE. IT IS LIKE THE EMPERORS NEW CLOTHES STORY, NO ONE AT GMC HAS EVER HEARD OF THE PROBLEM BEFORE. *TR

RANDOMLY, WHILE DRIVING THE ABS SYSTEM ACTIVATES THE BRAKES, PULLING THE CAR TO ONE-SIDE. IF MY MEMORY SERVES ME CORRECTLY, IT PULLS TO THE RIGHT. AFTER THIS HAPPENS, THE CAR'S "TRACTION CONTROL ACTIVE" MESSAGE APPEARS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. PARKING THE CAR, TURNING IT OFF, AND RESTARTING THE CAR CAUSES THE MESSAGE TO GO AWAY. THIS HAS HAPPENED ABOUT 4 TIMES IN THE PAST 3 WEEKS AT SPEEDS VARYING FROM 5-35 MILES PER HOUR. I FEAR THAT IT COULD BE POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN AT HIGHER SPEEDS.. THE CAR HAS BEEN CHECKED, PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT, BY AN ASE CERTIFIED SHOP AND BOTH FRONT WHEEL HUBS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITHIN THE PAST 18 MONTHS, WHICH HAVE INTEGRATED WHEEL SPEED SENSORS. I HAVE READ THAT MOST SHOPS HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO PINPOINT ANY REASON FOR THIS PROBLEM, BUT I DO PLAN TO HAVE MY MECHANIC INVESTIGATE AND SEE IF THE COMPUTER IS REPORTING ANY ERROR CODES. *TR

CONSEQUENTLY THEY HAVE DENIED MY REQUESTED REIMBURSEMENT CLAIM IN THE AMOUNT OF $452.60 TO CORRECT MY BRAKE PROBLEM ON THE VEHICLE. SINCE THIS DISPUTE HAS NOT BEEN SETTLED TO MY SATISFACTION; I AM REQUESTING THAT YOU PUT THIS INFORMATION ON FILE IN THE NHTSA DATABASE AS "UNINTENDED BRAKING WHEN ACCELERATING AND THE CAUSE IS LEVER SLIPPAGE AT EACH REAR BRAKE CALIPER".I HAVE MAINTAINED A FILE FOLDER ON THIS BUICK,TERRAZA BRAKING DEFECT AND WOULD BE HAPPY TO SHARE ALL MY INFORMATION WITH NHTSA. BUICK, GM OWES ME $452.60. THIS IS THEIR SAFETY ISSUE THAT I HAD TO HAVE CORRECTED. *TR

THERE ARE SEVERAL DEFECTS THAT I AM EXPERIENCING WITH THIS VAN. THESE ISSUES ESCALATED THIS WEEKEND, THE TRACTION CONTROL AND SYSTEM STABILITY INDICATORS CAME ON AGAIN AND CAUSED THE BRAKES TO LOCK I CHANGED THE BRAKES BECAUSE I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE CAUSE IT WAS NOT. ALSO THE REAR SLIDING DOORS WILL OPEN WHILE DRIVING ON THEIR OWN. THIS VAN HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP AT LOU FUSZ SAINT LOUIS, MO SEVERAL TIMES AND IT IS STILL NOT OPERATING. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE I AM LUCKY THAT I WAS NOT ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE BRAKES LOCKED UP, UNFORTUNATELY THAT IS NOT THE CASE WITH THE DOORS. I CANCELLED A TRIP TO THE ZOO WITH MY KIDS BECAUSE THE DOORS OPENED ON THEIR OWN WHILE ON THE INTERSTATE, THEY ARE NOW AFRAID TO RIDE IN THE BACK SEATS. *TR

I WAS DRIVING ALONG. ABOUT 20MPH. STARTED TO GO OVER SOME REALLY BAD RAILROAD TRACKS. ALL OF A SUDDEN MY AIRBAG DEPLOYED. I DIDN'T HIT ANYTHING. I DIDN'T RUN INTO ANYTHING. AND NOTHING HIT ME. IT WAS JUST ALL OF A SUDDEN. BECAUSE OF THE POSITION MY ARM WAS ON THE STEERING WHEEL I HAD INITIALLY THOUGHT THAT IT SNAPPED MY ARM IN TWO. HOWEVER. IT ISN'T BROKEN. BUT I DO HAVE VERY MINOR BURNS FROM THE CHEMICAL FROM THE AIRBAG. I CONTACTED BUICKS MAIN CUSTOMER SERVICE LINE BUT THEY ACT LIKE THEY DIDN'T WANT TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. *TR

Summary

FOR MONTHS, ALMOST 8 NOW, I HAVE BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP NUMEROUS TIMES TO HAVE MY 2005 BUICK TERRAZA SERVICED FOR PROBLEMS WITH THE SLIDING DOORS. I HAVE HAD THE LATCH SYSTEM REPLACED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR BECAUSE THE DOOR WOULD NOT SHUT AND WOULD CONTINUE TO DING. LESS THAN 8 MONTHS LATER I HAD THE ENTIRE POWER DOOR MODULE AND DOOR CONTACTS REPLACED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE SLIDING DOOR. I ALSO HAD THE CONTACTS REPLACED ON THE DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR, AND NOT EVEN 2 WEEKS AFTER BEING REPAIRED THE DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR WOULD NOT CLOSE AUTOMATICALLY AND WHEN WE MANUALLY CLOSED THE DOOR IT WOULD DING CONSTANTLY, EVEN WHILE DRIVING! SO ANOTHER TRIP INTO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT AND IT SEEMS I NEED TO SPEND ANOTHER $600 DOLLARS TO HAVE THE DRIVERS SIDE SLIDING DOOR LATCH SYSTEM COMPLETELY REPLACED, APPARENTLY IT WAS FINE 10 DAYS PRIOR WHEN I BROUGHT INTO THE DEALERSHIP, BUT THE FEW TIMES WE USED THE DOOR CAUSED MAJOR LATCH ISSUES. THIS YEAR ALONE I HAVE SPENT ALMOST $2200 ON THE SLIDING DOORS (NOT INCLUDING THE $600 I WILL BE SPENDING ONCE THE LATCH IS ORDERED AND REPLACED), THE DEALERSHIP LOVES SEEING ME WALK IN BECAUSE I HAVE YET TO SPEND LESS THAN $500 THERE AT A TIME. MY FUELS LINES HAD TO REPLACED WHEN THE VAN WAS LESS THAN 3 YEARS OLD, THAT IS ONLY AFTER THE DEALERSHIP TOLD ME IT WAS A THE FUEL SENSOR THAT NEEDED REPLACING, $375 FOR THAT AND WHEN I GOT THE VAN HOME I HAD TO HAVE IT TOWED BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP BECAUSE, COME TO FIND OUT, IT WAS NEVER THE SENSOR, BUT THE FUELS LINES THAT WERE CORRODED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY EITHER, BECAUSE REPLACING FUEL LINES IS CONSIDERED WEAR AND TEAR... YEP AFTER 3 YEARS. I AM WONDERING IF IT IS THE DEALERSHIP I AM TAKING MY VAN TO ,OR THE VAN ITSELF... I THINK ITS A COMBINATION OF BOTH. I AM JUST COMPLETELY FRUSTRATED. *TR

IN THE SUMMER OF 2010, I WAS DRIVING ON AN ON RAMP TO THE INTERSTATE WHEN IT FELT LIKE THE BRAKES GRABBED AND WOULDN'T ALLOW ME TO ACCELERATE (53604 MILES). THE CAR PULLED TO THE LEFT, AND I HAD TO WORK OVERTIME TO GET THE CAR TO STOP ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. SEVERAL CARS WERE BEHIND ME ' EXPECTING ME TO SPEED UP ' AND IT COULD HAVE BEEN A VERY BAD SITUATION. I WAS TOWED TO A BUICK DEALERSHIP, BUT THEY COULD NOT RE-CREATE THE ISSUE. THE MANAGER THEN GOT IN THE CAR WITH ME DRIVING SO THAT WE COULD SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN. WE DIDN'T GET FAR BEFORE IT HAPPENED AGAIN. I SPECULATED THAT THE ISSUE WAS WITH THE ABS SYSTEM, BUT THEY COULDN'T FIND THE ISSUE SO MY THOUGHTS COULD NOT BE AFFIRMED. FAST FORWARD TO JANUARY 2011, MY ABS SYMBOL AND 'SERVICE STABILITY SYSTEM' ALERT COME ON, AND THE CAR GRABS AND MAKES A CRUNCHING SOUND (59287 MILES). *TR

Summary

I WAS DRIVING MY 2005 TERRAZA WITH ABOUT 79,000 MILES ON DRY, SMOOTH CITY STREETS WHEN SUDDENLY THE CAR STARTED BRAKING ON ONE SIDE AND, I BELIEVE, TRIED TO CONTROL THE STEERING. THIS HAPPENED THREE TIMES ON THREE DIFFERENT STREETS ON THE SAME TRIP ACROSS TOWN. EACH TIME WITH THE MESSAGE "STABILITY CONTROL ACTIVE" . I DRIVE THESE ROADS REGULARLY AND THERE WAS NO REASON FOR THIS TO HAPPEN. I WAS DRIVING SLOWLY WHEN AT THE FIRST OCCURRENCE AND WAS ABLE TO GET THE CAR STOPPED. THE SECOND TIME I WAS PROBABLY AROUND 40 MPH AND BECAUSE I WAS FIRMLY GRIPPING THE WHEEL WITH LITTLE TRAFFIC I WAS ABLE TO GET THE VAN ONTO THE SHOULDER AND STOPPED. BY THE THIRD TIME I WAS PROBABLY UNDER 20 MPH AND TERRIFIED. I WAS AGAIN ABLE TO GET THE CAR STOPPED SAFELY. I PARKED IT AND TURNED IT OFF. IT HAS DRIVEN FINE FOR ABOUT 150 MILES SINCE WITH NO RECURRENCE. THE DEALER HAS DRIVEN IT OVER 100 MILES WITH THEIR SPECIAL SENSOR ON AND FOUND NOTHING. THERE ARE NO CODES. THEY HAVE CHECKED THE CONNECTORS FOR TIGHTNESS AND CORROSION, AGAIN NOTHING SUSPICIOUS. THEY HAD TURNED THE ROTORS, PUT ON NEW BRAKE PADS, AND DONE OTHER MAINTENANCE WORK ABOUT 50 MILES BEFORE THE OCCURRENCE. THEY DO NOT FEEL THIS IS RELATED. THEY ARE NOW PLANNING TO REPLACE THE YAW SENSOR ALTHOUGH THEY DO NOT HAVE EVIDENCE THAT THIS IS THE PROBLEM. THEY DON'T KNOW IF THEY WILL EVER BE ABLE TO FIND THE PROBLEM. *TR

WE HAVE '05 BUICK TERAZZA VAN - TIRE WEAR HAS BEEN UNSATISFACTORY - CUPPING NOTICED AT 18,000 MILES AND ONGOING. DEALER RECOMMENDED ROTATING TIRES - DONE TO NO AVAIL. CUPPING CONTINUED AND BECAME WORSE. ACTUALLY CUTTING TIRE. DEALER REPORTED THAT IT WAS THE MANF. PROBLEM WITH VAN HAVING UNEVEN WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION ON FRONT END. I HAVE LOCATED 5 OTHER PEOPLE IN AREA WITH SAME PROBLEM. HAVE BEEN A GM CUSTOMER FOR 60+ YRS. NEVER HAD TO REPLACE TIRES AT 25,000 MILES. OTHERS ARE HAVING TO DO THE SAME. TIRE DEALER REPORTS FREQUENT REPLACEMENT ISSUE IS APPEARING WITH THIS MODEL VAN. IS THIS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT? TIRES WERE ROTATED APPROX. EVERY 10,000 MILES INITIALLY THEN AT 5000 AND THEN AT 1000 MI. THIS MUST BE DEFECT IF OTHERS ARE HAVING SAME PROBLEMS. WE HAVE A BUICK RENDEZVOUS - 04 - TIRES ARE ROTATED IN SAME FASHION - HAS 45,000+ MILES AND TIRES ARE SHOWING NOT WEAR. PLEASE INVESTIGATE. THANK YOU. *TR

ALL 4 TIRES ON MY 2 1/2 YR OLD BUICK TERAZZA ARE BAD. ONE TIRE IS SPLIT ON THE REAR AND ALL 4 ARE UNEVEN BULGING TREAD AND ACTUALLY THIS ALL STARTED TO HAPPEN LAST SUMMER WHEN CAR WAS ABOUT 26000 MILES. NOW WE HAVE 41K MILES AND THE CAR TIRES ARE SHAKING BADLY AND WAS TOLD TODAY THAT ONE TIRE COULD EXPLODE ANYTIME. THESE ARE GOODYEAR TIRES AND ARE THE ORIGINAL FROM THE DEALER AND GM. I AM APPALLED THAT ALL 4 ARE BAD THIS EARLY. THIS COULD RESULT IN A MAJOR BLOWOUT OR AN ACCIDENT. NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE THE BLAME. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED SO NEW A CAR. *TR

EVERY TIME THE WHEELS ARE REMOVED FROM MY 2005 BUICK TERRAZA, THE ROTORS GO OUT OF ROUND, AND NEED TO BE REPLACED. I AM WONDERING IF ANY OTHER OWNERS HAVE THIS COMPLAINT. WE HAVE HAD THE ROTORS REPLACED THREE TIMES IN LESS THAN THREE YEARS. THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED NOW. THAT MAKES IT FOUR TIMES IN LESS THAN THREE YEARS. IT IS DANGEROUS TO HAVE THE ROTORS OUT OF ROUND. THE MECHANICS BELIEVE IT IS BECAUSE THE TIRES ARE TORQUED TOO TIGHT. WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING? IT IS GETTING PRETTY EXPENSIVE. *TR

SLIDING DRIVER'S SIDE REAR DOOR OPENED WHILE I WAS FUELING THE CAR. MY WIFE PUSHED THE OPEN DOOR BUTTON. A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION DEVELOPED AS THE SLIDING DOOR SLID BACKWARDS TOWARD THE GASOLINE HOSE. I JAMMED THE DOOR WITH MY BODY AND ATTEMPTED TO PRESS THE DOOR BUTTON BUT THE DOOR KEPT TRYING TO SLIDE BACK. I SQUEEZED THE HANDLE AND YANKED THE HOSE OUT OF THE GAS TANK FILLER. I SPLASHED QUITE A BIT OF GAS ON THE SIDE OF THE CAR. THERE SHOULD BE SOME SAFETY SWITCH THAT WOULD PREVENT THE SLIDING DOOR FROM OPERATING WHEN THE GAS TANK DOOR IS OPEN. MY WIFE WAS DISORIENTED AT THE TIME BECAUSE OF A DIABETIC SUGAR LOW AND FELT SHE NEEDED AIR. I HAD VISIONS OF THE SLIDING DOOR STRIKING THE GAS HOSE AND STARTING A FIRE. THE DOOR HAS A SAFETY SWITCH THAT PREVENTS IT FROM CLOSING IF AN OBJECT IS IN THE WAY. BUT THERE IS NOTHING TO PREVENT THE DOOR FROM OPENING EVEN WHEN IT IS HELD OR STRIKES SOMETHING. *JB

SINCE OCTOBER 2006 I HAVE TAKEN THE '05 BUICK TERRAZA TO MOSSY PONTIAC BUICK GMC OF NEW ORLEANS FOR THE FOLLOWING ISSUES: DVD STATIC NOISE, UNUSUALLY LOUD, EXHAUST NOISE ON TAKE-OFF, BRAKES, ABS LIGHTS COME ON, ONSTAR, AND IGNITION/STARTER CONTINUES TO TURNOVER AFTER RELEASING THE STARTER KEY. AFTER 10-15 VISITS TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR THE SAME ISSUES THEY SAY THAT THEY REPLACED THE MUFFLER AND THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER, AND THAT ANY NOISE I HEAR IS INHERENT TO THE VEHICLE. I WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT THE DVD NOISE I HEARD WAS INHERENT TO THE VEHICLE UP UNTIL MY LAST VISIT ON APRIL 10, 2007 AT WHICH TIME I WAS INFORMED OF A BULLETIN THAT DESCRIBED THE PROBLEM I HAD BEEN HAVING SINCE OCTOBER 2006. EITHER WAY, THAT ISSUE WAS STILL NOT FIXED AFTER LEAVING MY VEHICLE AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR APPROXIMATELY 10 HOURS. ALSO, ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP THE ABS LIGHT ISSUE AND THE IGNITION/STARTER ISSUE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THEREFORE , THEY ARE LIKELY INHERENT TO THE VEHICLE. *AK I PLACED A COMPLAINT WITH BUICK CUSTOMER CARE ON APRIL 10 AFTER NOT HAVING ANY RESOLUTION TO MY PROBLEMS, AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO OTHER THAN OFFER ME A $1000 REBATE FOR BUYER LOYALTY TOWARDS A NEW GM VEHICLE. MY CAR CURRENT HAS 38,600 MILES, BUT I PURCHASED IT WITH 23K (CERTIFIED WHICH SUPPOSELY EXENDED THE WARRANTY TO 39K) AND HAVE BEEN TAKING IT TO THE DEALSHIP FOR ISSUES SINCE THE DAY OF PURCHASE. Summary

I HAVE A 2005 BUICK TERRAZA WITH 20,000 MILES ON IT. RECENTLY WHEN THE TEMP HAS GOT COLD (30 DEGREES) THE SERVICE STABILITY AND THE SERVICE TRACTION LIGHTS HAVE CAME ON. AFTER I DRIVE THE VAN, THE NEXT TIME I START THE VAN THE LIGHTS ARE USUALLY GONE BUT THEN WHEN I HAVE BEEN DRIVING STRAIGHT ON A DRY ROAD AT ABOUT 45 MPH OR SO AND HIT A BUMP THE VAN WOULD PULL, DECELERATE AND SWERVE FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THE SERVICE STABILITY LIGHT WOULD COME ON. THIS HAS HAPPENED 4 TIMES. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY FOUND 5 CODES BUT THEY SAY THEY CAN'T HELP THEM FIGURE WHAT IS WRONG AND ALL THEY CAN DO IS DRIVE MY VAN AROUND UNTIL IT DOES IT AGAIN AND HOPE THEY GET A CODE THAT WILL HELP THEM. THE CODES WERE C0253/C0870/C0460/C0196/C0187. I FOUND OTHER PEOPLE ON LINE WHO HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH THESE VEHICLES AND PRINTED SUGGESTIONS FOR THE DEALER TO CHECK(STEERING WHEEL SENSOR AND FRAYED WIRES). THE DEALER THEN FOUND A GREEN AND BLUE WIRE FROM THE FORWARD ENGINE HARNESS ROUTED FROM THE EBCM UNDERNEATH THE INLET AIR BOX WERE COMPLETELY RUBBED THROUGH. THEY RUBBED AGAINST THE TRANSMISSION BOLT. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL FIX THE PROBLEM. I GUESS YOU GOT TO GIVE SOME DEALERS HELP FINDING THE PROBLEM WITH YOUR VEHICLE. THIS IS COULD BE A PROBLEM WITH THESE TYPE OF GM VANS AND IT COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS DEPENDING ON WHAT WIRES ARE FRAYED AND WHEN THEY MALFUNCTION THE STABLE TRAK SYSTEM COULD THROW THE VAN OUT OF CONTROL WHICH COULD LEAD TO A DEADLY ACCIDENT. *JB

FOR THE SECOND TIME, MY TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AND MY "SERVICE STABILITY SYSTEM" LIGHT APPEARED. LUCKILY, THIS TIME I WAS AT A RED LIGHT AND NOT DRIVING AND WAS ABLE TO HAVE CONTROL OF MY VEHICLE, UNLIKE THE LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED. UPON EXAMINATION AT THE DEALER, FOUND TO HAVE A "MISSING" TRACTION CONTROL FUSE, WHICH WAS REPLACED, AND REGARDING THE "SERVICE STABILITY SYSTEM" ALERT - FOUND THE YAW RATE SENSOR HAD AN INTERNAL FAILURE, WHICH WAS REPLACED. HOW MANY TIMES DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN BEFORE BUICK WILL TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND REALIZE THAT THIS VEHICLE IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE? BUICK TELLS ME TO TALK TO THE DEALER; THE DEALER REFERS ME TO BUICK. APPARENTLY NO ONE CARES THAT I AM DRIVING AROUND IN A VERY UNSAFE VEHICLE, UNLESS AN ACCIDENT AND PERSONAL INJURY OR WORSE OCCURS. THIS TIME I HAD A FRIEND AND HER SON IN MY VEHICLE. I HATE TO EVEN THINK WHAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED IF I HAD BEEN MOVING WHEN THIS LATEST FAILURE OCCURRED. THE LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED WAS HORRIFIC ENOUGH, AND I WAS TOLD THE VEHICLE WAS FIXED, OBVIOUSLY IT WASN'T. THE ONLY THING I WOULD LIKE FROM BUICK AND THE DEALER IS MY MONEY BACK SO THAT I CAN PURCHASE A SAFE VEHICLE. FOR NOW, THIS WILL SIT IN MY DRIVEWAY, AS THERE IS NO WAY THAT I WILL EVER GET BEHIND THE WHEEL OF THIS VEHICLE AGAIN. NEVER AGAIN WILL I PUT MY CHILD, MY FRIENDS OR MYSELF AT RISK. IS SAFETY TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR IN A $30,000.00 VEHICLE? I HAVE HAD 14 REPAIRS MADE TO THIS VAN IN 18 MONTHS, WITH ONLY 13,000 MILES ON IT. I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE IN GOOD FAITH, WHY WON'T BUICK STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT AND DO RIGHT BY ME? YESTERDAY JANUARY 8, 2005 WE TOOK A TRIP TO A RELATIVES HOUSE IN PENNSYLVANIA. ON OUR WAY HOME AND LUCKILY FOR US IN THE TOWN WE LIVE IN, OUR TERRAZZA STARTED MAKE A SCREECHING NOISE AND THE BRAKES LOCKED BRINGING THE CAR TO A GRINDING STOP. IT WAS THE SCARIEST THING THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED TO US. THE CAR COULD NOT BE DRIVEN EVEN A FEW FEET,THE DISPLAY PANEL SAID "STABILITY CONTROL ACTIVE". WE WERE VERY FORTUNATE THAT THE CAR BEHIND US WAS ABLE TO SWERVE OUT OF OUR WAY OR THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. I CAN'T HELP BUT WONDER WHAT WOULD HAVE HAPPENED IF THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED 30 MINUTES BEFORE AND WE WERE ON THE HIGHWAY TRAVELING AT HIGHWAY SPEED. I KNOW SINCE I WAS IN THE CAR, I BELIEVE WE WOULD NOT BE ALIVE TO TELL YOU ABOUT THIS INCIDENT. WE CALLED ON-STAR BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE ANYTHING AND CALLED A TOW TRUCK TO HAVE THE CAR TOWED TO THE NEAREST DEALER, FREEHOLD PONTIAC/BUICK/GMC. THE DEALER WAS ABLE TO DETERMINE THAT IT WAS A SHORT IN A WIRE UNDER THE DASHBOARD AND THE CAR WAS REPAIRED AND READY FOR PICK-UP. I REFUSED TO PICK THE CAR UP BECAUSE I AM AFRAID THAT IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN I MIGHT NOT SURVIVE NOR WILL MY FAMILY. THE DEALER AGREED TO KEEP THE CAR ANOTHER DAY AND TO PROVIDE US WITH FURTHER DETAILS ABOUT THE WIRES TOMORROW. DT: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING ALL OF THE LIGHTS DIMMED. THE FAN MOTOR LOST POWER. THIS HAPPENED EIGHT TIMES ON A TEN MILE DRIVE. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP , AND THEY REPLACED MULTIPLE COMPONENTS, BUT THE PROBLEM GOT WORSE. THE ENGINEERS FOR THE MANUFACTURER SENT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT 40 TESTS TO RUN ON THE VEHICLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM, BUT NOTHING WAS FOUND. THE ZONE MANAGER FOR THE MANUFACTURER STATED THEY WERE AWARE OF THE PROBLEM, BUT DID NOT DEEM IT A SAFETY HAZARD. THE SERVICE MANAGER AT THE DEALERSHIP TEST DROVE ANOTHER VEHICLE ON THE LOT AND FOUND IT HAD THE SAME DEFECT. IN ADDITION, UPON PURCHASE, THE REAR DOOR HAD TO BE ADJUSTED. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO SHUT THE DOOR, IT WAS TOO LOOSE. ALSO, THE VEHICLE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE LEVELING SYSTEM, TWICE WHEN TRYING TO GET INTO THE VEHICLE IT WAS COMPLETELY DEAD. THEY COULD NOT UNLOCK THE VEHICLE, AND HAD TO GET IT TOWED. THE DEALERSHIP STATED A SWITCH THAT WAS NOT DEACTIVATING, CAUSING THE BATTERY TO DIE. THIS DEFECT WAS REPAIRED. *AK

AFTER MAKING SEVERAL TURNS TO EXIT A PARKING LOT I STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN AT AN EXIT, PROCEEDED TO CROSS WESTBOUND TRAFFIC AND AS I NEARED THE MEDIAN TO TURN ONTO THE EAST BOUND LANES MY STEERING WHEEL BECAME LOCKED WITH THE CAR IN MOTION. I HEADED STRAIGHT THROUGH THE MEDIAN ACROSS ONE LANE OF EAST BOUND TRAFFIC AND PARTIALLY THROUGH THE SECOND EAST BOUND LANE. HEADING STRAIGHT TOWARD A CONSTRUCTION SITE I GAVE THE WHEEL A TURN TO THE LEFT AS HARD AS I COULD. KEY RING FLEW INTO THE WINDOW, REGAINED CONTROL OF VEHICLE. ENGINE CUT OUT. COASTED TO A SAFE PLACE AND PULLED ASIDE. DISCOVERED THE KEY WAS BROKEN IN IGNITION AND ANOTHER CAR KEY WAS BENT APPROXIMATELY 40 DEGREES. NOTICED THE PLASTIC ON THE STEERING COLUMN AROUND MY CRUISE LEVER WAS DAMAGED. REALIZED ANOTHER KEY BECAME LODGED INTO STEERING COLUMN BEHIND THE CRUISE LEVER LOCKING THE STEERING WHEEL. WHEN I JERKED THE WHEEL, SECOND KEY BENT FREED FROM THE STEERING COLUMN AND THE IGNITION KEY BROKE IN THE IGNITION. STARTED THE ENGINE WITH THE BROKEN KEY LODGED IN THE IGNITION. I DROVE TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE KEY WAS REMOVED. I WAS CHARGED $51.50 FOR NEW KEY. I HAVE ALL KEYS AND KEY RING. *JB

Summary

I OWN A 2005 BUICK TERRAZA. BOUGHT THE VEHICLE IN JULY OF 2005 AT AROUND 8000 MILES NOTICED A VIBRATION IN THE STEERING WHEEL ,TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY SAID THE TIRES NEEDED TO BE RE-BALANCED. AFTER I LEFT DEALERSHIP STILL NOTICED THE VEHICLE SHAKING. WENT BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP FRONT TIRES ARE NOW GOING BALD AND THEY STATE IT WAS MY FAULT FOR NOT ROTATING AT 5,000 MILES. SO THEY DO IT FOR ME REBALANCE TIRES AND SAY IT IS OKAY. AFTER 4 TIMES OF GOING BACK TO DEALERSHIP FOR THE VIBRATION THEY SAY THERE IS NOTHING THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT. SO I AM SUPPOSED TO LIVE WITH THIS VIBRATION WHEN DRIVING AT SPEEDS OF 65-70. THIS IS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE SINCE THIS WILL JUST LEAD TO MORE PROBLEMS DOWN THE ROAD. THE DEALER POINTS THE FINGER TO BUICK , BUICK POINTS THE FINGER BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND NOBODY WANTS TO TACK RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS. *JB

DT: THE CONTACT TRIED TO USING THE HORN BUT MOST OF THE TIME COULD NOT GET IT TO BLOW. EVEN WHEN PRESSING HARD ON THE HORN IT WOULD NOT WORK. ONE MUST HIT IT CORRECTLY IN ORDER TO GET IT TO WORK PROPERLY. HE HAS TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, WHO AGREED IT TOOK A LOT OF FORCE FOR THE HORN TO WORK. THE DEALER HAD A REPRESENTATIVE LOOK AT THE HORN. THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS DOUBTFUL THAT GMC WOULD FIX THE HORN. HE STATED IT WAS A SENSOR THAT FAILED, IT SEND A MESSAGE TO THE STEERING WHEEL, AND IT WAS SENDING WRONG INFORMATION. WHEN PRESSING THE ACCELERATOR THE BRAKES WOULD CLAMP DOWN AND SLOW DOWN THE VEHICLE. THIS WOULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO STOP WHILE IN MOTION TO CONTINUE ON. THE CONTACT STATED THE HEADLIGHTS BRIGHTEN AND DIM ON THEIR OWN. THE DEALER REPLACED THE ALTERNATOR IN ORDER TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. *AK

Summary

STEERING LOCKED UP WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH ON A VERY BUSY FOUR LANE HIGHWAY WHILE I WAS IN THE FAST LANE, HEADING WESTBOUND. VAN DECELERATED TO ABOUT 30 MPH INSTANTLY, BEGAN SWERVING FROM RIGHT TO LEFT WITHOUT ABILITY TO CONTROL MOVEMENT OF VEHICLE. THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON AND THE SERVICE STABILITY SYSTEM LIGHT ALSO CAME ON. COULD NOT TURN OFF THE TRACTION CONTROL. HAD NO CONTROL OVER THE STEERING, BRAKES OR GAS. A VERY LOUD GRINDING NOISE WAS COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VAN, SOUNDING AND FEELING LIKE EVERY WHEEL WAS BEING TURNED IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION. I WAS ABLE TO TURN THE VAN A VERY HARD LEFT TO STEER IT INTO AN OPEN LOT, ALTHOUGH I DID HAVE TO PULL IN FRONT OF ONCOMING CARS, BUT I HAD NO OTHER OPTION AS THERE WERE CARS ON THE SIDE OF ME AND QUICKLY COMING UP BEHIND ME. VAN WAS SERVICED AT THE DEALER WHO SAID THAT THE STEERING WHEEL SENSOR WAS FAULTY; CASE FILE STARTED WITH BUICK, BUT AFTER SERVICING, THEY CLOSED THE CASE, SAYING THE PROBLEM WAS RESOLVED. I WILL NEVER DRIVE THIS VEHICLE AGAIN AND I FEEL THERE IS STILL A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE HERE. OTHER SENSORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED, ONLY TO HAVE THOSE PROBLEMS OCCUR AGAIN. THIS VAN HAS BEEN IN FOR SERVICE REPAIRS FOR 11 DIFFERENT THINGS IN THE SEVEN MONTHS THAT I HAVE OWNED IT, AND IT NOW ONLY HAS 6036 MILES ON IT. I FEEL THAT THIS VAN IN PARTICULAR IS VERY UNSAFE AND POSSIBLY OTHER TERRAZA'S ALSO HAVE THESE SAME SAFETY PROBLEMS. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT THE MANUFACTURER SHOULD OWN UP TO AND DO THE RIGHT THING AND REPLACE THE VEHICLE BEFORE THE UNTHINKABLE OCCURS.*JB

DT: THE CONTACT STATED HAD A TECHNICIAN FROM GM LOOK AT HIS CAR BECAUSE HE WAS HAVING MANY PROBLEMS WITH HIS HORN. E NOTICED PROBLEMS WITH THE HORN ON OR AROUND 5-20-05. IT WAS VERY HARD TO PUSH. THE HORN. YOU ALMOST HAVE TO TAKE A HAMMER TO GET IT TO BLOW. THE DASH LIGHTS ARE ALSO VERY DIM. HE HAS FOUND SEVERAL COMPLAINTS ON THE NHTSA WEBSITE ABOUT THE HORN NOT BLOWING. TRANSMISSION KICKS INTO PASSING GEAR TOO MUCH GOING UP SLIGHT GRADES ON THE INTERSTATE AT 65-70 MPH. THE CONTACT HAS DRIVEN OTHER CARS ON THE SAME INTERSTAS WITH THE SAME AVERAGE LOADS AND WITH LESS HORSEPOWER AND THEY DIDN'T KICK INTO THE PASSING GEAR AS MUCH. I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY SWITCHING LANES ON DRY PAVEMENT, CLEAR DAY, AND THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM OR THE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM ENGAGED CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO RAPIDLY DECELERATE AND SWERVE TO THE LEFT. IT HAPPENED TO MY WIFE AND SHE CALLED ME CRYING SAYING SHE DID NOT WANT TO DRIVE THE CAR. I DID NOT TAKE HER SERIOUSLY, UNTIL SHE WENT OUT OF TOWN AND THE VEHICLE DID THE SAME TO ME ON THE HIGHWAY. THIS TRACTION CONTROL OR STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM HAS A PROBLEM AND IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN. I TRIED TO DISENGAGE THE SYSTEM BEFORE DRIVING IT ON THE HIGHWAY TO TAKE IT TO THE DEALER AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. THE HORN IS HARD TO PUSH AND CAUSE THE HORN TO MAKE A SOUND. WITHOUT A HORN, THE CAR IS NOT SAFE. *NM

CONSUMER STATES: THERE WAS A VIBRATION IN THE CAR WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH. THE CONSUMER COULD FEEL THE STEERING WHEEL VIBRATE. THE SEVERITY OF THE VIBRATING DEPENDED ON THE CONDITION OF THE ROAD. ON 5-26-05 THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHEN IT HAD ABOUT 500 MILES ON IT TO HAVE THE TIRES BALANCED. THAT DID NOT FIX THE VIBRATING. THE DEALER TOLD THE CONSUMER THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE TO THE CAR UNTIL THE VEHICLE HAD 5,000 MILES ON IT. HE TALKED TO GM ON APPROX. 6-30-05 AND THEY TOLD HIM THEY COULDN'T DO ANYTHING UNTIL THE VEHICLE HAD 7,500 MILES. THE CONSUMER IS AFRAID THE CAR MAY HAVE A BAD TIRE OR A BAD BEARING. THE CONSUMER THEN TOOK THE VEHICLE TO GOODYEAR, BUT THEY WANTED TOO MUCH MONEY TO LOOK AT THE VEHICLE. *NM
