AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT IS INTERMITTENTLY ON AND OFF ALL THE TIME WHILE THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING. THIS HAPPENS WHETHER THE VEHICLE HAS STOPPED FOR A TRAFFIC LIGHT OR IN MOTION.
WHEN DRIVING AND PRIOR TO CHANGING LANES OR MAKING A TURN THE SEATBELT HAS A VERY BAD HABIT OF LOCKING AND NOT ALLOWING THE DRIVER TO SEE THE SIDE MIRRORS OR FULL VIEW OUT WINDOWS TO ENSURE A SAFE PARAMETER OR PATH AND HAS CAUSED SEVERAL NEAR-MISS SITUATIONS. THIS HAPPENS WHEN SITTING STILL AND BACKING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE OR GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT ANY SPEED,
AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT REMAINS ON AND BLINKS IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PASSENGER AIRBAG SENSOR LIGHT TURNS OFF. THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT CONTINUALLY BLINKS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING OR THE IGNITION IS IN THE ON POSITION.
MY 24 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAD JUST CAME OFF THE ON RAMP AND BEGAN MERGING ONTO HIGHWAY 99 NORTHBOUND WHEN SHE HEARD A LOUD BANG AND FELT HER CAR DROP AS IF SHE HAD A FLAT TIRE, AS SHE BEGAN PULLING OFF THE FREEWAY MAKING HER WAY TO THE SHOULDER SHE SAW HER TIRE PASS HER UP AND CONTINUE DOWN THE FREEWAY WHERE IT CONTINUED ALONE FOR ABOUT 100 YARDS AND BY SHEER LUCK ENDED UP ALONG THE GUARD RAILING AND DID NOT CAUSE ANY ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES AS MANY HAVE REPORTED HAPPENED TO THEM. HER PASSENGER SIDE REAR WHEEL BROKE OFF LEAVING THE CENTER OF THE WHEEL AND 5 LUG NUTS REMAINING, THE ENTIRE CENTER OF THE WHEEL REMAINED ON THE CAR, ALL 5 WHEEL SPOKES WERE BROKEN OFF DUE TO CRACKING, I INSPECTED HER REMAINING WHEELS AND FOUND THEM ALL READY TO FAIL EVIDENCING CRACKS ON MOST WHEEL SPOKES
MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS FLASHING ON MY DASH. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS A RECALL ON THE 2007-2008 350Z FOR THE AIRBAG SENSOR - PASSENGER. I CALLED THE NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE'S NO RECALLS ON MY SPECIFIC VEHICLE AND I WAS INFORMED TO CONTACT YOU'LL TO GET ADDED TO THE RECALL DATABASE, SO I CAN GET MY CAR REPAIRED,
MY AIR BAG EXPOLDED - I HAVE NO AIR BAG NOW. WENT OUT TO MY CAR AFTER WORKING THAT DAY
THE PASSENGER AIRBAG LIGHT COMES ON DUE TO A FAULTY SENSOR IN THE SEAT. THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM YET MY VIN NUMBER IS NOT IDENTIFIED IN THE NISSAN RECALL DATA BASE.
THE ELECTRIC COOLING FAN HAS NOW FAILED 2 TIMES. THE FIRST TIME HAPPENED SIX WEEKS AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF THE RECALL WHICH THE DEALER DID NOT HONOR. THE REPLACEMENT FAILED ONE YEAR AND ONE MONTH AFTER INSTALLATION.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN 350Z. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE CLUTCH FAILED TO WORK WITHOUT WARNING, WHICH CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO STALL. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE FAILURE RECURRED SEVERAL OTHER TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER (TOWN CENTER NISSAN, 2310 BARRETT LAKES BLVD, KENNESAW, GA 30144; (866) 799-4725) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLUTCH AND THE CLUTCH LAY CYLINDER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE DEALER ASKED THE CONTACT TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AT 800-647-7261 AND STATED THAT THERE WERE NO RECALLS FOR THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 28333107. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 46,000.
CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER AND TRANSMISSION NOISING AND HOWLING NOISE. TRANSMISSION FAILED WHILE DRIVING ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT AND THEN FAILED ON TRAFFIC FREEWAY
WHILE DRIVING AT HIGHER FREEWAY SPEED, THE CVT AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION REMAINS IN HIGH SPEED, IT DOES NOT SHIFT INTO A LOWER SPEED WHEN I AM TRYING TO SLOW DOWN THE VEHICLE. THERE IS LEAKAGE AND BURNT SMELL COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. IT WAS TESTED IN TWO LOCATIONS AND THE VEHICLE HAS A FAULTY TRANSMISSION. NISSAN DOES NOT OFFER REBUILT TRANSMISSIONS AND USED TRANSMISSIONS ARE JUST AS RISKY TO INSTALL. NEW TRANSMISSIONS ARE MORE COSTLY THAN WHAT THE CAR IS WORTH. *TR
2007 NISSAN 350Z. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO PASSENGER SEAT SENSOR ICON ILLUMINATES WHEN PASSENGER IS SEATED, DEALERSHIP DIAGNOSES ISSUE AS PASSENGER SEAT SENSOR FAILURE. CONSUMER STATES VEHICLE VIN# NOT INCLUDED IN SAME DEFECT RECALL PROBLEM. *SMD

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN 350Z. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE CHECK AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED FOR BOTH THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAGS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE HAD OCCURRED ON PREVIOUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. I FINANCED MY VEHICLE IN MARCH 2015 THIS YEAR AND IN 4 MONTHS I'VE HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS I HATE MY CAR NOW BUT I'M STUCK WITH THE COST. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT NEVER WENT OFF, I NEVER HAD A TEST DRIVE, CAR CUTS OFF ON ME ON THE HIGHWAY, HAD TO GET A BATTERY CHANGE, HAD TO GET A OIL CHANGE, BREAKS ARE SQUEEKING, AND I JUST GOT TOWED FROM PA BACK TO NY CAUSE NOW THE DEALER SAYS MY MOTOR BLEW OUT???? I DON'T DRIVE FAR CAUSE MY JOB NOT FAR AND WHEN I DECIDED TO GO VISIT FAMILY I GOT STUCK ON PA HIGHWAY WITH MY KIDS!!! I WAS SOLD A LEMON! COST ME MORE MONEY OUT MY POCKET FOR A HOTEL ROOM AND BUS TICKET TO GET BACK HOME NOW WANT $1400 TO FIX THE CAR ENGINE THAT I CAN'T AFFORD!!!.... THIS HAS TO BE HELL I'M IN!!!!!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN 350Z. WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH AND MAKING A LEFT TURN, THE CLUTCH FAILED. THE DRIVER WAS UNABLE TO SHIFT FROM FIRST TO SECOND GEAR CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO STALL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
FOR THE PAST COUPLE DAYS, WHILE DRIVING, THE CLUTCH WHEN PUSHED IN STICKS TO THE FLOOR FOR A COUPLE SECONDS BEFORE POPPING BACK UP. THE OTHER DAY, I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF AN INTERSECTION, UNABLE TO ACCELERATE DUE TO THE CLUTCH BEING STUCK. I TOOK IT INTO NISSAN AND THEY HAVE TO REPLACE THE MASTER SLAVE CYLINDER AS WELL AS THE MASTER HYDRAULIC CYLINDER, COSTING ME A TOTAL OF $1039. AT 26,XXX, THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THIS HAPPENING. I HAVE HEARD COUNTLESS OCCASIONS OF THIS SAME PROBLEM AND DEMAND A RECALL OR A REFUND FROM NISSAN. *TR
THE CAR IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE DUE TO THE CLUTCH BEING FAULTY. IT LOSES PRESSURE EVERY NOW AND THEN, AND I HAVE TO PICK UP THE CLUTCH WITH MY FOOT MANUALLY OFF THE FLOOR. THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS AND SHOULD BE RECALLED ON ALL 2007 AND 2008 350Z'S. NISSAN CHANGED THE CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER AND MASTER CLUTCH CYLINDERS FROM 2007 TO 2008, HENCE ONLY THESE MODEL YEARS HAVE THIS PROBLEM. PEOPLE HAVE COMPLAINED NUMEROUS TIMES AND THEY DID RECALL A CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER BUT EVEN AFTER THEY DID THAT, IT HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. IF YOU REPLACE A PART WITH THE SAME DEFECTIVE PART IT WILL BREAK DOWN AGAIN AND AGAIN... I'VE CALCULATED HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST TO GET A NEW CLUTCH AND REPLACE ALL THE DEFECTIVE PARTS WITH STRONGER PARTS THAT PEOPLE HAVE USED AND REVIEWED OVER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME. IT WILL COST ME ABOUT $2000 JUST TO GET THE CLUTCH PARTS AND INSTALLATION. THIS IS RIDICULOUS FOR SOMETHING THAT HAS SUCH AN IMPORTANT JOB IN A CAR. IF THE CLUTCH PEDAL LOSES PRESSURE OR GOES DOWN AND DOESN'T COME BACK UP, YOU CAN GET IN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT OR EVEN WORSE, DEATH. PLEASE HELP US 350Z OWNERS AND ENSURE THAT THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDES SAFETY IN THESE VEHICLES.. *TR
MY PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT APPEARED ON MY DASH AND I WENT TO NEW CITY NISSAN TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. THIS SPECIFIC PROBLEM WAS THE SUBJECT OF A MASSIVE RECALL THAT BEGAN ON NOVEMBER 4, 2008 THAT INCLUDED THE NISSAN 350Z'S MADE IN 2007-2008 UNDER THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 08V521000. THE DEALERSHIP OFFERED TO REPLACE THE SEAT ASSEMBLY FOR $2630 PLUS TAX. I INSTEAD CALLED NISSAN NORTH AMERICA WITH MY PROBLEM, CASE NUMBER 14605979 THAT WAS HANDLED BY PAUL SMITH. I WAS TOLD THAT MY AUTOMOBILE WAS NOT PART OF THE RECALL AND THAT ANY COST TO REPAIR THIS PROBLEM WOULD BE OUT OF MY POCKET. I DID NOT PURCHASE THE CAR UNTIL SEP. 2009 AND WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF ANY RECALL BY THE DEALERSHIP AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE. AT THE PRESENT, MY CAR CANNOT PASS A SAFETY INSPECTION AND THE OUTRAGEOUS COST OF REPAIR FOR A PROBLEM ALREADY IDENTIFIED BY THE AUTO MAKER IS PROHIBITIVE ON MY RETIREMENT INCOME. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT WILL NOT GO AWAY. *TR
ON 07/02/14 I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK WHEN I APPROACHED A RED LIGHT NEAR MY RESIDENCE PUSHED THE CLUTCH IN AND THE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND CLUTCH DID NOT ENGAGE ALMOST CAUSING A COLLISION. I WAS ABLE TO SLOWLY DRIVE HOME TO TRY AND FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE. I CHECKED THE FLUID IN THE CLUTCH CYLINDER AND IT WAS NEARLY EMPTY. I FILLED IT UP WITH DOT 3 BRAKE FLUID AND THE CLUTCH STARTED TO WORK SOME BUT THEN THE FLUID LEAKED OUT AGAIN.THE NEXT MORNING I GOT INTO THE CAR TO GO TO WORK AND THE CLUTCH WENT TO THE FLOOR AGAIN. I DROVE THE CAR TO THE LOCAL NISSAN DEALER AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM. ON 7/3/14 I CALLED NISSAN CORPORATION AND EXPLAINED THAT ACCORDING TO THE INTERNET THEIR HAD BEEN A RE-CALL ON THE SLAVE CYLINDER(WHICH CAUSES THIS PROBLEM TO OCCUR) AND I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY CAR REPAIRED AT THEIR EXPENSE. I LEFT MY CAR AT SHEEHEY NISSAN IN WALDORF MD WITH SERVICE ADVISOR [XXX] (301-843-5300) WHO STATED THEY WOULD HAVE TO LOOK THE CAR OVER TO DETERMINE IF THE MALFUNCTIONING PART IS THE SLAVE CYLINDER. ON 7/3/14 I SPOKE WITH [XXX] AT 1-800-647-7261 EXT 457390 CLAIM# [XXX] (NISSAN CORP) SHE ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD HAVE TO CONFIRM THE ISSUE THROUGH THE DEALERSHIP AND THEN THE INFORMATION WOULD BE FORWARDED UP TO THE REGIONAL DIST. OFFICE TO DETERMINE IF NISSAN WOULD REPAIR MY VEHICLE.TWO DAYS LATER I WAS CONTACTED BY [XXX] (1-800-343-6913 EXT [XXX]) FROM THE REGIONAL OFFICE AND SHE EXPLAINED THAT DUE TO THE CAR'S AGE AND BEING OUT OF WARRANTY THEY WOULD NOT REPAIR MY VEHICLE. PLEASE REVIEW AND ASSIST ME WITH A PROBLEM THAT COULD CAUSE SOMEONE TO LOSE THEIR LIFE. NISSAN SHOULD HAVE TO HONOR THE RE-CALL NOTWITHSTANDING IT BEING OUTSIDE OF THE WARRANTY. A RECALL IS A RECALL ACKNOWLEDGING THAT THE PART IS FAULTY AND SHOULD BE CORRECTED AT THEIR EXPENSE. PLEASE ASSIST. THANK YOU. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6). *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN 350Z. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH, A DEER UNEXPECTEDLY CAME INTO THE VEHICLE PATH AND THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO THE DEER. AS A RESULT, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AND THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. NO INJURIES HAD BEEN SUSTAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS TO BE FURTHER INSPECTED BY AN AUTHORIZED DEALER AND AN INSURANCE ADJUSTER. THE CONTACT WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 08V521000 (AIRBAGS). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 105,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN 350Z ROADSTER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER, WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC AND DETERMINED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR SENSOR HAD FAILED. THE DEALER RESET THE SENSOR BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED TWICE. THE CONTACT CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 41,324.
NISSAN HAS A CLUTCH ORIFICE VALVE THAT HELPS REGULATE PRESSURE TO THE CLUTCH. THIS VALVE, WHEN FAULTY CAN CAUSE A CAR TO LOSE ABILITY TO SHIFT THEIR CAR INTO AND OR OUT OF GEAR. NISSAN IS FULLY AWARE OF THIS ISSUE WITH THE CLUTCH ORIFICE VALVE, AND HAS DISCONTINUED ITS USE. THIS VALVE IS NOT LISTED IN NISSAN'S FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL, NOR IS IT A NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR PART. THIS PART CANNOT BE PURCHASED EITHER THROUGH NISSAN OR IT'S DEALERS, NOR IS IT AVAILABLE ONLINE THROUGH AN AFTERMARKET DEALER. AS A RESULT, NISSAN IS REQUIRING THAT THE FAULTY VALVE (30589-CF00B) BE REPLACED WITH THREE ADDITIONAL PARTS, AT THE CONSUMERS COST. THESE PARTS ARE CLUTCH ORIFICE VALVE (30650-CD000), TUBE ASSEMBLY (30851-CD00A), AND CLUTCH COVER ASSEMBLY (30205-JK0C). NISSAN WILL NOT REPLACE THIS VALVE FOR ANY CONSUMER, UNLESS THEIR VEHICLE IS UNDER WARRANTY. GIVEN THAT THIS IS AN ENGINEERING ISSUE, AND NOT A CUSTOMER ISSUE, NISSAN SHOULD ISSUE A SAFETY RECALL FOR ANYONE WHO MAY EXPERIENCE THIS ISSUE. THIS PART CAN CAUSE SEVERE SAFETY ISSUES TO NOT ONLY THE DRIVERS, BUT ANY PASSENGERS THEY HAVE AS WELL AS OTHER DRIVERS/VEHICLES ON THE ROAD. BY NOT BEING ABLE TO SHIFT INTO OR OUT OF GEAR, THIS SIMPLE $50 OEM VALVE, CAN CAUSE DRIVERS UNDUE HARM. THIS IS SIMPLY A MONETARY ISSUE FOR NISSAN, AND IS NOT AN ISSUE THAT ANY MOTORIST SHOULD HAVE TO ENDURE AS A RESULT OF THEIR FAULTS FOR CHOOSING A FAULTY PRODUCT. *TR
WHEN FUELING, THE PUMP STOPS WITHOUT FILLING THE TANK ENTIRELY. SOMETIMES ITS STOPS 1/4TH FULL, 1/2 OR 3/4TH. RESEARCHED ONLINE AND CAN SEE THAT LOT OF OWNERS HAVE REPORTED THE SAME ISSUE. *TR
WHILE DRIVING IN TRAFFIC ALONG A UPHILL I ENGAGED THE CLUTCH PEDAL TO SHIFT INTO 2ND GEAR WHEN THE CLUTCH PEDAL DID NOT DISENGAGE AS I LET OFF MY FOOT. INSTEAD, THE VEHICLE AUTOMATICALLY REVVED ITSELF UP TO 6500 RPM WHILE ROLLING BACK. AS THE CLUTCH PEDAL WAS STUCK THERE WAS AN ABSURD AMOUNT OF BURNING ODOR, SMELLED LIKE THE CLUTCH WAS BEING BURNED. I HAD TO IMMEDIATELY TURN THE CAR OFF, LUCKILY THE CAR BEHIND ME HAD ENOUGH TIME TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. ALMOST CRASHED BECAUSE OF THIS AND WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE IT FROM THAT POINT ON. *TR
2007 NISSAN 350Z M/T WAS BEING DRIVEN AT 35MPH AND THE CLUTCH PEDDLE DROPPED TO HALF WAY AND WOULD NOT RETURN BACK TO ORIGINAL POSITION. HAD TO REACH DOWN AND MANUALLY PULL THE CLUTCH PEDAL BACK TO POSITION. TOOK TO NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND THEY INSPECTED THE CAR AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH THE VEHICLE. THE PROBLEM WAS SHOWN TO DEALER AND SERVICE TECHNICIAN WHO DROVE IT FOR 8 MILES AND CLAIMED NOTHING WAS WRONG. THE VEHICLE WAS BEING DRIVEN FEW DAYS LATER AND CLUTCH WENT DOWN EVEN FURTHER AND WOULD NOT GO INTO GEAR. CLUTCH FLUID WAS COMPLETELY EMPTY AND LEAKING OUT OF THE TRANSMISSION HOUSING. *TR
CAR WAS MAKING A RATTLING NOISE FROM UNDERNEATH SINCE I BOUGHT IT NEW ALSO THERE WAS A CREAKING NOISE FROM THE LEFT REAR TIRE FROM DAY 1 NOW THE CAR SKIPS AT 1000 RPMS OF COURSE NISSAN DOES NOT HELP. *TR
MY WIFE HAS TAKEN HER 350Z INTO THE DEALERSHIP MULTIPLE TIMES FOR A LOW TIRE PRESSURE INDICATOR LIGHT. EVERYTIME, THEY HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE. THIS MOST RECENT TIME, HOWEVER, SHE TOOK THE CAR IN ON 3/16/2012. WHILE SHE WAITED, THE MECHANIC AND SERVICE TECH INSPECTED THE VEHICLE. UPON COMPLETION OF INSPECTION, THEY INFORMED HER THAT THREE OF THE FOUR RIMS HAD NOTICEABLE CRACKS IN THEM. SHE WAS INSTRUCTED TO RETURN WITH THE VEHICLE ON 3/19/2012 AND THE DEALERSHIP WOULD DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT NISSAN WOULD PAY FOR THE REPLACEMENT AS, ACCORDING TO THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN, IS A KNOWN ISSUE ON THESE RIMS. I HAVE CALLED NISSAN TO LEARN THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE A RECALL ON THESE RIMS BUT THROUGH INTERNET SEARCHES HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE. I FIND IT DISTURBING THAT NISSAN KNOWS ABOUT THIS ISSUE, THERE HAVE BEEN MANY COMPLAINTS AND/OR ACCIDENTS CAUSED BY THESE RIMS AND YET NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO RECTIFY THE PROBLEM. *JS
CLUTCH ENGAGED BY ITSELF AND LOST POWER TO THE WHEELS (MANUAL TRANS). MAYBE DUE TO A CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER FAILURE. *TT
WAS DRIVING 35 MPH AND WHEN I WENT TO ACCELERATE AROUND A TURNING CAR MY CLUTCH PEDAL DROPPED TO THE FLOOR. I WAS IN TRAFFIC SO IT STARTLED ME AND COULD HAVE BECOME VERY DANGEROUS. LUCKILY I ACTED SMARTLY AND WAS ABLE TO PULL INTO A PARKING LOT AND FIX THE PROBLEM. I GOT ONTO FORUMS AND REALIZE THIS IS A RECURRING PROBLEM THAT NEED TO BE ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN 350Z. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 10 MPH THE CONTACT HEARD A GRINDING NOISE COMING IN THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE. THE CONTACT DROVE ONTO THE EMERGENCY LANE AND NOTICED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE WHEEL BETWEEN THE AXLE AND THE TIRE WAS BROKEN. THE OTHER WHEELS WERE ALSO CRACKED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER TO BE REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 46,800.
SLAVE CYLINDER AND CLUTCH PROBLEMS WITH MY 2007 NISSAN 350Z. I BOUGHT THE CAR USED IN OCTOBER OF 2008. A MONTH AFTER PURCHASING IT I TOOK OFF FROM A STOP LIGHT AND THE CLUTCH SLIPPED VERY BAD. I LOOKED INTO, IT, SAW THE SLAVE CYLINDER WAS A RECALL AND BROUGHT IT IN. I ASKED ABOUT THE CLUTCH AND REPLACING IT AND THEY SAID NO BECAUSE THE CLUTCH IS A WEAR ITEM. YES ITS A WEAR ITEM, BUT NO CLUTCH SHOULD BE SLIPPING AT 20,000MI. THE REASON THE CLUTCH SLIPS IS BECAUSE OF THE SLAVE CYLINDER. EVEN AFTER THE RECALL WAS THE DONE THE CLUTCH STILL SLIPS AND THE DEALERSHIP REFUSES TO REPLACE THE CLUTCH
CLUTCH GOT WORN DUE TO STICKY CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER TOOK UP HALF OF MY CLUTCHES LIFE. *TR
2007 350Z CLUTCH IS AWFUL, EVEN AFTER THE SLAVE CYLINDER RECALL. *TR

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN 350Z. WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 20-25 MPH, THE ENGINE REVVED AND THE RPMS INCREASED TO 4,000 WHEN THE VEHICLE CAME TO A STOP. THE CLUTCH PEDAL EXTENDED TO THE FLOOR WHEN IT WAS DEPRESSED. THE CONTACT SMELLED A BURNING ODOR OUTSIDE OF THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR INSPECTION AND THEY STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS OPERATING PROPERLY BECAUSE THE FAILURES COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED. THE FAILURES RECURRED ON A SEPARATE OCCASION. THE VIN WAS UNABLE TO BE ENTERED INTO THE SYSTEM. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 21,000. UPDATED 07/17/09 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED STARTING FROM A COMPLETE STOP, REVVED TO 4,500 RPM LET OUT THE CLUTCH, AND THE PEDAL REMAINED STUCK TO THE FLOOR. THEN THERE WAS A BURNING SMELL. UPDATED 07/20/09.*JB
I HAVE A 2007 NISSAN 350Z THAT IS DEVELOPING CLUTCH ISSUES, POOR ENGAGEMENT, SLIPPING, AND SOME RATTLING NOISE COMING FROM THE TRANSMISSION WHEN THE CLUTCH IS NOT ENGAGED. I HAVE CONTACTED AND NOTIFIED NISSAN ABOUT IT BUT THEY REFUSE TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE AND THEY QUOTE IT AS NORMAL. I HAVE DRIVEN STICK ALL MY LIFE AND NEVER EXPERIENCE SUCH ISSUES. *TR
CLUTCH GOES HARD AND DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO DISENGAGE CLUTCH....ONCE DISENGAGED IT WILL NOT COME OFF THE FLOOR TO GO BACK IN GEAR. THIS PROHIBITS THE DRIVER TO REENGAGE CLUTCH...HAPPENS SPORADICALLY AFTER 30+ MINS OF DRIVING...ALMOST CRASHED TWICE... *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 NISSAN 350Z. THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE TIRE WOULD EXCESSIVELY VIBRATE. HE ALSO NOTICED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD SPORADICALLY DRIFT WITHOUT WARNING. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND THEY REPAIRED THE HUB ASSEMBLY. SEVERAL WEEKS AFTER THE REPAIR, THE FAILURE RECURRED ON THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE. HE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A LOCAL REPAIR SHOP AND THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE BEARING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT IS IN THE PROCESS OF TAKING THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 8,000.
CLUTCH ON 07 6MT VQ35HR 350Z CONSTANTLY IS VIBRATING AND TRANSMISSION IS CLICKING LIKE SO MANY OTHER NISSAN 350Z OWNERS. CAR WAS BOUGHT BRAND NEW HAS BEEN DOING IT SINCE THE PURCHASE. HAVE ALREADY BEEN TO THE DEALERSHIP A FEW TIMES WITH NO EXPLANATION. NO REPAIRS MADE BY DEALERSHIP. NISSAN CONSUMER AFFAIRS ARE NOT RESPONDING TO REPEATED ATTEMPTS AT COMMUNICATION ( EMAIL AND PHONE.) *TR
WHILE DRIVING IN HEAVY STOP AND GO TRAFFIC, THE CLUTCH PEDAL STUCK TO THE FLOOR OF THE CAR AND WOULD NOT RETURN TO IT PROPER UPRIGHT POSITION. I HAD TO WORK MY WAY OFF THE FREEWAY WITH OUT THE USE OF A CLUTCH. I HAD TO STOP AND START THE ENGINE AS I MADE MY WAY OFF THE FREEWAY. AFTER SETTING ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, THE CLUTCH RETURNED TO ITS NORMAL UPRIGHT POSITION AND HAS WORKED SINCE. I'M AVOIDING HEAVY STOP AND GO TRAFFIC. THE PROBLEM HAS NOT HAPPENED SINCE. *TR
CLUTCH PEDAL STICKS TO THE FLOOR ON MY NEW 2007 350Z I ONLY HAVE 15,000 MILES. CLUTCH NOT DISENGAGING AND UNABLE TO SHIFT GEARS. I TOOK IT TO DEALER, I HAD TO PAY TO GET IT CHECKED OUT. PUT IN NEW CLUTCH AS THEY TOLD ME. STILL HAVING SAME PROBLEM! *TR
I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NISSAN 2007, 350Z FROM A LOCAL DEALERSHIP. UPON NOTICING THE TPMS LIGHT ON, A LONG SERIES OF EVENTS LED US TO DISCOVER THAT THE WHEELS AND TIRES ON THE CAR ARE NOT ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT. THE DEALERSHIP TOOK DELIVERY OF THE CAR, SOLD IT TO ORIGINAL OWNER, SERVICED IT AND RESOLD IT TO US. THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO GIVE US INFORMATION OR SATISFACTION REGARDING THIS MATTER. I HAVE NO WAY TO BE SURE THE VEHICLE IS SAFE WITH THESE WHEELS AND I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT. PLEASE ADVISE. *TR
MY CARS CLUTCH WILL STICK TO THE FLOOR FOR A SECOND OR 2.TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY SAID I NEED TO AUTHORIZE TEAR DOWN TO CHECK PROBLEM(I NEED TO PAY).THE CAR HAD 2500 MI ON IT WHEN IT HAPPENED BEFORE. IT IS INTERMITTENT. CAR HAS 5,900 MI., KNOW AND IT HAPPENS MORE OFTEN. NISSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS LOOKING INTO IT BECAUSE I WON'T PAY FOR A PROBLEM THAT EXIST WITH THIS CAR. NISSANS CAMPAIGN ID# P7252 COVERS CARS LIKE MINE BUT STOPS 138 CARS BYE THE VIN#.THIS IS POTENTIALLY A PROBLEM MERGING INTO TRAFFIC IF YOU CAN'T ACCELERATE! *TR
2007 NISSAN 350Z CLUTCH PROBLEM, THE PROBLEM HAPPENED WHEN I LEFT THE DEALERSHIP, THE CLUTCH SLIPS IN TRAFFIC, AFTER IT HEATS UP THE POORLY MADE PRODUCT STARTS TO SLIP. I THOUGHT ABOUT HAVING IT REPLACED BECAUSE I HAVE WARRANTY BUT ITS A PROBLEM IN ALL THE 07 350Z'S. REPLACING A POORLY DESIGNED CLUTCH WITH ANOTHER POORLY DESIGNED CLUTCH REALLY WOULDN'T HELP. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL ON THIS! *TR
MY CLUTCH PEDAL ON THE 2007 350Z GOT STUCK ON THE FLOOR. I HAD NO FEEDBACK ON THE CLUTCH AND IT HAS LESS THAN 5,000 MILES. *TR
CLUTCH IS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. IT IS TO LOOSE. *TR
MY 2007 NISSAN 305Z SHOWED NO PREVIOUS SIGNS OF FAILURE UNTIL THE CLUTCH PEDAL GOT STUCK TO THE FLOOR AS I DROVE DOWN ONE OF THE BUSIEST STREETS IN MY CITY. THIS HAPPENED SATURDAY NIGHT 02/09/2008 AROUND 9PM. PARKED THE VEHICLE AT A FRIENDS WHO HAPPENED TO LIVE NEARBY AND WILL WAIT UNTIL MONDAY BEFORE GETTING IT TOWED TO THE DEALER. (SINCE DEALERSHIPS ARE NOT OPEN ON A SUNDAY) MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THE CYLINDER ASSY-CLUTCH RECALL ALL OVER CAR ENTHUSIAST FORUMS. *TR
THE CLUTCH ON MY 2007 350Z IS GOING OUT FOR NOT THE FIRST BUT THE SECOND TIME WITH LESS THAN 18,000 MILES ON IT. THE CLUTCH CONSTANTLY HAS A BURNING SMELL NO MATTER HOW THE CAR IS DRIVEN. THE THROW OUT BEARING RATTLES CONSTANTLY WHEN CLUTCH IS NOT ENGANGED. THIS IS BECOMING A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE THE FIRST TIME MY CLUTCH WENT OUT I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND WAS JUST BARELY LUCKY ENOUGH TO COAST IT OFF THE RAMP INTO A PARKING LOT. *TR
CLUTCH WENT OUT. *CN
1) CLUTCH PEDAL STICKS TO THE FLOOR ON NEW 2007 350Z (<8K MILES) 2) CLUTCH NOT DISENGAGING AND UNABLE TO SHIFT GEARS 3) CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER HAD TO BE REPLACED THE PROBLEM HAS HAPPENED TWICE (8/22/07 AND 12/28/07)*CN
I EXPERIENCED A SAFETY RELATED ISSUE WITH MY CAR. WHILE I WAS DRIVING, SHIFTING FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR AT ABOUT 6,000RPM AND THE CLUTCH PEDAL STUCK ON THE FLOOR AND IT TOOK AN UNUSUALLY LONG AMOUNT OF TIME FOR IT TO RETURN TO THE REST POSITION. THE CLUTCH PEDAL WAS "STUCK" ON THE FLOOR OF THE CAR FOR ABOUT 2 SECONDS, WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IMMEDIATE. *TR
MULTIPLE CLUTCH/TRANSMISSION ISSUES. ISSUE INVOLVES THE CLUTCH PEDAL SINKING TO THE FLOOR AND LOOSING NEARLY ALL, OR ALL OF ITS PRESSURE. CLUTCH FAILS TO RETURN TO NORMAL UNTIL THE CAR SITS UNTIL COOL. FIRST INCIDENT WAS DURING NORMAL DRIVING; WHILE GOING THROUGH A INTERCEPTION A CAR RAN THE RED LIGHT, WHEN I DOWNSHIFTED TO A LOWER GEAR TO MORE, THE CLUTCH FAILED TO HOLD THE GEAR AND FELL TO THE FLOOR, THE OTHER CAR MANAGED TO STOPPED BUT I WAS IDLE IN THE ROAD UNABLE TO MOVE. SECOND INCIDENT INVOLVED TRAFFIC GOING UP A LOCAL BRIDGE CROSSING THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER. THE CLUTCH AGAIN GAVE OUT AFTER A FEW MINS OF STOP AND GO. I HAD TO PULL THE EBRAKE TO KEEP FROM ROLLING BACKWARDS AND WAS UNABLE TO CONTINUE UPHILL FOR ROUGHLY 10MINS. NO INJURIES OR DAMAGED ACCRUED FROM THESE EVENTS, BUT THEY WERE EACH CLOSE CALLS. I HAVE NOT YET TO BRING THE CAR TO MY DEALER DUE TO MY WORK SCHEDULE. TO DATE MANY OTHERS ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. *TR
LOSS OF CLUTCH PRESSURE. *TR
THE CLUTCH ON MY 2007 350Z SOUNDS LIKE IT IS GOING TO BLOW UP. IN TRAFFIC I AM EMBARRASSED AS EVERYONE LOOKS AROUND TO SEE WHERE THE NOISE IS COMING FROM...I KNOW SOME NOISE IS COMMON BUT THIS NOISE GOES OVER THE RADIO AT A HIGH VOLUME, THIS CANT BE NORMAL OR SAFE SOUNDS LIKE ITS GOING TO CRACK IN HALF... *TR
HAVING CLUTCH ISSUES... PEDAL STICKS, CLUTCH SLIPS.... WHEN TAKEN TO REPAIR, "NOTHING CAN BE DONE ABOUT IT". *TR
I LOVE MY 2007 NISSAN 350Z, BUT SINCE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT HAS HAD GRINDING NOISE .I SUSPECT IT'S THE THROW OUT BEARING OR THE PILOT BEARING ON THE TRANSMISSION. NISSAN REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING ON MY NEW CAR, AND IM AFRAID I WILL GET STUCK ON THE ROAD IN MY NISSAN AGAIN. *TR PLEASE HELP KRIS
1) I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2007 350Z, AND AFTER 1,700 MILES THE CLUTCH PEDAL BEGAN TO STICK TO THE FLOOR AND LOSE PRESSURE, THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT BACK WAS TO PUT YOUR FOOT UNDER THE PEDAL AND PUSH UP ON IT. THIS HAPPENED TO ME ABOUT 20 TIMES, AND IN VARIOUS CONDITIONS (HIGHWAY/CITY). I HAD BROUGHT IT TO IRA NISSAN IN WOBURN TWO TIMES ASKING THEM TO FIX OR LOOK INTO IT AND BOTH TIME THEY TOLD ME THEY COULD NOT REPLICATE. 2) IN EARLY OCTOBER I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM MY GIRLFRIEND FATHER?S HOUSE, AND THE CLUTCH PEDAL STICK THE FLOOR. THE CLUTCH WOULDN'T DISENGAGE; IT HAD NO PRESSURE NO MATTER WHAT I DID. I WAS ON ROUGHLY 70 MPH ON THE INTERSTATE AND I COULD NOT TAKE THE CAR OUT OF GEAR TO SLOW DOWN. I LITERALLY HAD TO FORCE THE CAR OUT OF GEAR AND SLOW DOWN WITH BRAKES SO THE CAR WOULDN'T STALL OUT. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS VERY FRIGHTENING, IF I HAD TO FOR SOME REASON ACTUALLY SPEED UP TO MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OF AN EMERGENCY VEHICLE OR FOR MY OWN SAFETY I COULD NOT. AFTER SOME INVESTIGATION, I NOTICED THAT WAS NO CLUTCH FLUID AT ALL. A BRAND NEW CAR WITH LESS THAN 7,000 MILES SHOULD NO BE RUNNING OUT OF CLUTCH FLUID LIKE THAT. THERE WAS A GAS STATION ACROSS THE STREET SO WE PURCHASED SOME BRAKE FLUID PUMPED THE CLUTCH AND IT WAS OK. I DROVE IT HOME, AND THE NEXT MORNING THE FLUID WAS GONE AGAIN. THIS TIME I DIDN'T MESS AROUND I CALLED AAA, AND HAD THEM TOW MY CAR TO NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND TOLD THEM IT WAS COMING. I ALSO CALLED CORPORATE NISSAN TO FILE A COMPLAINT AND START AND OFFICIAL PAPER TRAIL. 3) THAT NEXT AFTERNOON AFTER THE TOW TO IRA NISSAN IN WOBURN (SAME LOCATION AS THE OTHER 2 TIMES) I WAS CALLED BY THE SERVICE MANAGER AND THEY TOLD ME THEY CAN REPLICATE AND ARE GOING TO HAVE TO CHANGE THE ENTIRE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY INCLUDING MASTER AND SLAVE CYLINDERS. THE SAID IT WOULD TAKE 3-4 DAYS TO GET THE PARTS AND ABOUT A DAYS WORK. IT WAS ALL COVERED UNDER WARRANTY AND I WAS ACTUALLY GIVEN A RENTAL CAR. BUT THERE IS AN ISSUE THAT NISSAN REFUSES TO ACCEPT. *TR
WHILE IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC MY CLUTCH PEDAL STUCK TO THE FLOOR CAUSING THE CAR TO FILL WITH SMOKE AND RENDERING THE CAR TEMPORALLY INOPERABLE AFTER A FEW MINUTES I PUMPED THE PEDAL AND WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE HOME. THE NEXT MORNING THE DEALER INFORMED ME THAT I HAD WORN OUT A CLUTCH IN 4000 MILES AND THEY WOULD NOT WARRANTY MY PROBLEM. *TR
I WAS DRIVING MY 2007 NISSAN 350Z WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION, AND MY CLUTCH WAS GETTING STUCK. I DID MY RESEARCH AND FIGURED OUT THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE SLAVE CYLINDER, OR THE CLUTCH FLUID, BECAUSE I HAD RUN INTO PEOPLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS. I THEN TOOK MY CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP, AND THEY HAD TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG. THERE HAVE BEEN MORE MOMENTS WHEN I AM DRIVING, I SHIFT GEARS, AND RELEASE THE CLUTCH AND GIVE IT GAS, AND IT JUST ACCELERATES MORE! THIS ALMOST CAUSED ME TO GET INTO AN ACCIDENT. *TR
LOSS OF CLUTCH PRESSURE. CAR WILL NOT MOVE. VERY DANGEROUS. *TR
CLUTCH STICKING TO FLOOR AFTER LONG DRIVES.... *TR
DURING HEAVY TRAFFIC OR MODERATE ACCELERATION, MY 2007 NISSAN 350Z CLUTCH PEDAL WILL FALL TO THE FLOOR, CAUSING THE CAR TO LOSE POWER TO THE WHEELS. THE FIRST INCIDENT WAS REPORTED TO SUTHERLIN NISSAN AT 1,500 MILES, AND THE CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER WAS REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY AT 11,500 MILES. WITHIN ONE DAY AFTER GETTING THE CAR BACK, THE SAME PROBLEM SHOWED UP, DURING A TRAFFIC JAM. THE PROBLEM WAS REPORTED AGAIN, AND AFTER 8,500 MILES AND SEVERAL COMPLAINTS TO THE DEALER, AND FINALLY NISSAN OF NORTH AMERICA, THE CAR IS IN THE SHOP AGAIN. THE DEALER REFUSED TO TRY AND FIX THE VEHICLE AGAIN UNTIL I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH NISSAN OF NORTH AMERICA. THIS TIME THE PROBLEM BECAME SO SEVERE, YOU COULD NOT DRIVE THE CAR IN MODERATE TO HEAVY TRAFFIC, WITHOUT THE FEAR OF LOSING THE CLUTCH PEDAL PRESSURE. THE PROBLEM STARTED IN MARCH OF 2007, THE FIRST REPAIR WAS IN EARLY SUMMER, 2007, THE PROBLEM HAS CONTINUED, AND GOTTEN MUCH WORSE SINCE THEN, MAKING IT DANGEROUS IN HEAVY TRAFFIC, AND IS NOW AT THE DEALER FOR REPAIR, AS OF NOVEMBER 17TH. THERE HAVE BEEN SO MANY CLUTCH PEDAL PRESSURE FAILURES, I HAVE LOST COUNT, BUT ESTIMATE THE FAILURES HAVE BEEN IN THE HUNDREDS, AS THE PROBLEM OCCURS SEVERAL TIMES DAILY, DURING COMMUTES IN HEAVY TRAFFIC, WHICH I WILL NO LONGER DRIVE THE CAR IN UNTIL THE PROBLEM IS CORRECTED. *TR
I HAVE A 2007 NISSAN 350 Z AND DURING HIGHWAY DRIVING THE CLUTCH STICK TO THE BOTTOM DISABLE ME FROM SHIFTING AND STAY ON GEAR AND IT GET HARD TO STOP BECAUSE THE CAR IS ON GEAR. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALER BUT THEY CANNOT RECREATE THE PROBLEM BECAUSE ONLY HAPPEN SOMETIMES. *TR
THE CLUTCH IN MY 07 NISSAN 350Z DROPS TO THE GROUND WHILE DRIVING AND DOESN'T GO UP, I MUST PULL OVER AND PUMP THE CLUTCH FOR IT TO POP UP. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND I HEARD MANY OTHER PEOPLE HAVE THIS PROBLEM, IF THIS DOESN'T GET TAKEN CARE OF SOMEBODY WILL BE KILLED. *TR
I RECENTLY BOUGHT A NISSAN 350Z 2007 BASE MODEL MANUAL TRANSMISSION I NOTICED THAT THERE'S TIME WHEN I PRESS THE CLUTCH THE CLUTCH DOES RETURN BACK AND THAT CAR DOES NOT MOVE. THIS IS A PROBLEM BECAUSE IF IM IN THE MIDDLE OF A INTERSECTION AND THERE'S CAR COMING IF MY CLUTCH PETAL DOES NOT RETURN TO THE NORMAL POSITION I COULD BE IN A SERIOUS CRASH THANK YOU *TR
THE CAR WAS DRIVING NORMALLY AND GAVE NO SIGNS TO ANY TYPE OF PENDING FAILURE. THE 2007 350Z MODEL YEAR HAS SOME FORM OF CLUTCH DEFICIENCY. THE CLUTCH SOMETIMES DROPS TO THE FLOOR REQUIRING IT TO BE PUMPED UP BUT CAN LEAD TO STALLING THE ENGINE OR BEING STRANDED IN TRAFFIC. MY PROBLEM CAUSED ME TO BE STRANDED ON THE ROAD IN TRAFFIC UNTIL THE CLUTCH REGAINED PRESSURE AND LET ME DRIVE ON. THE PROBLEM IS THAT AFTER THE INITIAL FAILURE THE CLUTCH RANDOMLY SEEMS TO LOSE PRESSURE AND CAUSES IT TO BE VERY DIFFICULT TO SHIFT INTO GEAR WITHOUT SLIPPING. THE DEALER CLAIMED THAT THEY COULDN'T REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM AND ALSO CLAIMED THAT THERE WAS NO PREVIOUS HISTORY OF A PROBLEM ALTHOUGH THERE ARE NUMEROUS DOCUMENTED CASES OF THE PROBLEM. *TR
I HAD THIS CAR FOR 4 DAYS A 2007 NISSAN 350Z TOURING EDITION. DRIVING TO WORK ON THE MORNING OF SEPT, 1ST 2007 THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG (FROM HEADLINER, AND SIDE OF SEAT.) EXPLODE. I TAKE IT TO GWINNETT PLACE NISSAN AND THEY SAID THEY'LL HAVE NNA COME OUT AND LOOK FOR IT, THEY GIVE US A RENTAL, TAKES THEM A WEEK FOR SOMEONE TO LOOK UNDER THERE AND TELL ME A ROCK FLEW UNDER MY UNDERCARRIAGE AND HIT THE AIRBAG MODULE SENSOR AND MADE BOTH SIDE CURTAIN AIRBAGS DEPLOY. THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE SIDE OF MY VEHICLE. AND THEY MADE US PAY $250 FOR THE CAR RENTAL. WHY WOULD NISSAN DESIGN A CAR THIS WAY? *TR
CLUTCH STUCK TO THE FLOOR, TERRIBLE RATTLE NOISE COMING FROM THROW OUT BEARING. *AK
