The contact owns a 2012 BMW 550i. The contact stated after parking and exiting the vehicle, he noticed coolant leak on the front driver side and saw white smoke exiting near the water pump. The contact stated the low coolant fluid and the drivetrain malfunction warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated the smoke extinguished on it's own. The contact stated he continue driving the vehicle. The contact took the vehicle to independent mechanic and was informed the water pump was needing to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact took the vehicle to local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing the water pump to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired but was pending repairs. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 18V248000 (Engine and Engine Cooling), however the VIN was not included. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
My car died in an intersection unexpectedly as if my battery had died. My infant was in the backseat. This was suck a busy intersection that police dept had to park behind me to keep me from being hit. The car could not be put in neutral to move it out of the way. After over an hour we were able to restart the car and excessive battery discharge message displayed. This is on top of me taking it to the dealership for excessive oil consumption and BMW was aware my motor would eventually give out.
Engine is available for inspection upon request. Earlier this month, my 550i completely shut off at a traffic light. When attempting to restart the engine, the Starter strained very hard and smoke came out of the engine. Engine was immediately shut off and the car was towed to a local shop. In turn the shop replaced the Starter the following day and heard knocking from the engine once it turned it over. Upon examination the shop pulled open the oil filter and it was full of metal shrapnel. I feel fortunate the car was not in motion at the time of the failure, given the engine shut off with no warning this could have resulted in a catastrophic accident.
2012 F10 had issues while running as car installed and stopped completely multiple times in traffic. Fuel supply sign came on. Diagnosed as low pressure fuel pump degraded and need replacement. Same recall took place for 2007-2011 5 series model as well via recall campaign No. 16v-746: In-Tank Fuel Pump. 2012 have same issue and very dangerous to drive on road when vehicle stalls and stops while driving in traffic
THE HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP CAUSED A FIRE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND TOTALED THE CAR WITH LESS THAN 60K MILES ON IT

WHEN YOU FIRST TURN THE CAR ON IT SOUNDS VERY LOUD FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES (LOUDER THAN NORMAL). WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE CAR WILL START SHAKING AND THE CAR COMPUTER POPS UP SAYING DRIVETRAIN MALFUNCTION AND YOU HAVE TO PULL OVER TO RESTART. WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY A POP SOUND HAPPEN AND CAR STARTED TO DRIVE AND SHACKING OCCURRED AND SHIFTING OF GEARS WAS ERRATIC. TRANSFER CASE FAILED MADE VERY DIFFICULT TO GET OUT OF WAY OF TRAFFIC BIT OF STALL AND HESITATION.
WHEN I PRESS ON THE GAS TO ACCELERATE THE "DRIVETRAIN MALFUNCTION" ERROR COMES ON. MY CAR ONLY HAVE 51,000 MILES. I HAVE TO TURN THE CAR OFF AND WAIT A MINUTE TO RESUME DRIVING.

TAKATA RECALL CAR USES EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS OF OIL, A QUART EVERY WEEK.
I WAS DRIVING MY CAR ON A ROAD WHEN A WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. I PARKED THE CAR HOME, SINCE I WAS CLOSE TO HOME. THE SAME WEEK I TOOK THE CAR TO A BMW SPECIALIST BECAUSE THERE WAS A NOISE COMING FROM THE ENGINE. AFTER $467.00 SPENT ON LABOR, JUST TO TELL ME I NEED A NEW ENGINE. THIS CAR HAS 72K MILES. THIS IS A CAR THAT I ONLY DROVE ON WEEKENDS AND NOT EVERY WEEKEND. THE CAR IS NOW PARKED IN MY GARAGE BECAUSE TO REPAIR IT IT WILL COST ME $11K. I HAVE HEARD THIS COMPLAINT FROM SEVERAL BMW OWNERS. THE CAR STILL RUNS BUT THE NOISE WILL NO GO AWAY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 BMW 550I. AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE A SHORT DISTANCE, THE CONTACT FELT EXTREME HEAT COMING FROM UNDERNEATH THE VEHICLE AND SMELLED BURNING WIRES. "TAKATA RECALL" OUR CAR STARTED FLASHING "INCREASED BATTERY DISCHARGE" AND "ALL ELECTRICAL DEVICES WILL SHUT OFF" WE TOOK IT TO THE BMW HOUSE. THEY DIAGNOSED IT, AS NEEDING A NEW BATTERY. WE REPLACED THE BATTERY AND 1 WEEK LATER THE SAME MESSAGE CAME ON AGAIN "INCREASED BATTERY DISCHARGE' "ALL ELECTRICAL DEVICES WILL SHUT OFF" . WE HAD TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE BMW HOUSE AND THEY DIAGNOSED IT THIS TIME AS NEEDING THE EXTERNAL DOOR HANDLE REPLACED, THEY SAID THE DOOR HANDLE HAD GONE OUT AND THAT SOME PART IN THAT HANDLE PUTS THE CAR TO SLEEP BUT IT WAS NOT ALLOWING THE CAR TO GO TO SLEEP AND THIS PULLED THE BATTERY DOWN. WE REPLACED THAT. THAT LASTED 2 WEEKS AND AGAIN THIS SAME MESSAGE CAME "INCREASED BATTERY DISCHARGE" "ELECTRICAL DEVICES ARE SHUTTING DOWN. I WAS ON THE WAY TO THE BMW HOUSE ONCE AGAIN IT STARTED TO SMELL LIKE WIRES BURNING AND UNDER THE CONSOLE WHERE THE GEAR IS STARTED TO SMOKE BAD!! TO THE POINT THAT I PARKED THE CAR THEN I CALLED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. OUR CAR HAD TO BE HAULED TO THE BMW HOUSE. IT IS UNKNOWN WHY ALL THIS HAPPENED.
FUEL PUMP DISENGAGES WHEN THE CAR GETS TOO HOT. IT'S HAPPENED THREE TIMES FORTUNATELY EACH TIME I WAS GOING 20 MPH OR LESS. THE CAR ESSENTIALLY STALLS OUT AND AT HIGHER SPEEDS COULD BE AN ISSUE. BMW HAS MADE A FUEL PUMP RECALL BUT THE 2012 550I DID NOT QUALIFY AND I BELIEVE IT SHOULD.
I HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE TIMING CHAIN ON THIS VEHICLE. I DO BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. CAR FAILS WITH VERY LITTLE WARNING WHILE THE CAR IS BEING DRIVEN. IT IS NOT A QUESTION OF MAINTENANCE BUT OF A SPECIFIC MANUFACTURING FAULT. HOW WOULD ONE KNOW OF A DEFECT UNTIL SOMETHING GOES WRONG. THEN THE MANUFACTURER DOESN'T TAKE BLAME. MANUFACTURER KNEW ABOUT THE PROBLEM BUT DID NOT LET OWNERS KNOW ABOUT THE PROBLEM UNTIL SOMETHING HAPPENS WHILE DRIVING. BMW HAS SINCE REDESIGNED THE ENGINE BUT WHAT ABOUT THE EXISTING CARS WITH THE ISSUE?
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 BMW 550I. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHOOK. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER A SECOND TIME AND TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE; HOWEVER, IT FAILED TO RESTART THE SECOND TIME. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO NALLY BMW IN DECATUR, GA WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THERE WERE METAL SHAVINGS IN THE OIL AND THERE WAS A LOUD KNOCKING SOUND IN THE ENGINE. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INCLUDED IN CUSTOMER SERVICE RECALL NUMBER: N63. REPAIRS NEEDED TO BE PERFORMED TO THE ENGINE IN ORDER TO AVOID THE FAILURES LISTED PREVIOUSLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY AND OPENED A CASE REGARDING THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 112,000.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE AND PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
I WAS DRIVING AT ABOUT 65 MPH ON A HIGHWAY UPHILL, ENGINE COMPLETELY STALLED, NO POWER, GOT A MESSAGE "DRIVE-TRAIN MALFUNCTION, NO MAXIMUM OUTPUT, DRIVE MODERATELY". I WAS SURROUNDED BY CARS/SEMI TRUCKS, VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. MANAGED TO PULL OVER ON THE SHOULD. COULD NOT RESTART CAR, GOT A MESSAGE "AUTOMATIC START/STOP DEACTIVATED: ENGINE WILL NOT START AUTOMATICALLY. PRESS THE START/STOP BUTTON TO START THE ENGINE." ABOUT 30 MINS AFTER ENGINE STALLED, I FINALLY RESTARTED THE CAR. CONTINUED TO DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY FOR ABOUT 10 MILES @ 60-65 MPH. AT A LOCAL STREET, AS I SLOWED DOWN TO APPROACH A TRAFFIC LIGHT, ENGINE STALLED AGAIN, NO POWER, CAR STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF ROAD, GOT THE TWO SAME MESSAGES, COULD NOT START CAR. ABOUT 30 MINS AFTER ENGINE STALLED, I FINALLY STARTED THE CAR.
THE CAR THREW A DRIVE TRAIN MALFUNCTION CODE WHICH HAPPENS WEEKLY ON THESE ENGINES AND THE CAR JUMPED A LANE AS IT MISFIRED AND WENT INTO LIMP DRIVING MODE. IF THERE WAS CARS NEXT TO ME THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN A CRASH. SINCE THEN BMW HAS ISSUED A CUSTOMER CAMPAIGN ON THE N63 ENGINE EFFECTING THOUGHTS OF CARS. THEY ARE CHANGING TONS OF PARTS FROM INJECTORS TO FUEL RAILS. IT SHOULD BE A FULL BLOWN RECALL AND THE NHTSA SHOULD GET INVOLVED ON THIS. MY CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP SINCE 12/23 AND STILL HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED CORRECTLY. I HAVE A FEELING YOU ARE GOING TO BE GETTING THOUSANDS OF THESE COMPLAINTS AGAINST BMW. THEY NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THESE FAILURES. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 BMW 550I. THE VEHICLE STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AS ALL THE WARNING LIGHTS ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE FAILED TO RESTART AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS HYDRO-LOCKED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 8,500. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
MY WINDSHIELD WIPERS MOVE ON THEIR OWN, THEY TURN ON AND OFF AS THEY PLEASE. BROUGHT THE CAR IN TWICE SO FAR AND BMW SERVICE CANNOT FIND THE PROBLEM. *TR
MY CAR WAS PARKED DURING A HAIL STORM. DURING THE STORM, THE BACK WINDSHIELD SHATTERED INTO A THOUSAND PIECES. THANK GOD NO ONE WAS IN THE VEHICLE AT THE TIME OF THE HAIL STORM! IT WAS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THESE WINDSHIELDS ARE MADE OF SAFETY GLASS, THAT IS DESIGNED TO ABSORB ANY IMPACT, CRACK, AND STAY IN 1 PIECE. HOWEVER, QUITE THE OPPOSITE HAPPENED (I HAVE PICTURES), WHERE THE ENTIRE BACK GLASS BASICALLY EXPLODED AND GLASS PIECES WENT FLYING EVERYWHERE. THERE WERE EVEN PIECES OF GLASS ON THE FRONT FLOOR BOARD AND DASHBOARD. THIS MUST BE A DEFECT AND COULD HAVE BEEN A POTENTIAL LIFE THREATENING EVENT IF ANYONE HAPPENED TO BE IN THE VEHICLE DURING THIS STORM! *TR
I HAVE NOW DRIVEN MY 2012 BMW 550I X DRIVE FOR APPROXIMATELY 22,000 MILES. I HAVE BEEN FORCED TO REPLACE 5 RUN FLAT TIRES IN THE PAST 11 MONTHS. TWO GOODYEAR EXCELLENCE ROF AND 3 DUNLOP SP SPORT MAX GT. THREE TIRES DEVELOPED BUBBLES ON THE SIDEWALL AND I CANNOT THINK OF A PREVIOUS IMPACT THAT STOOD OUT IN MY MIND. TWO TIRES RAPIDLY DEFLATED AFTER COMING IN CONTACT WITH POT HOLES. THE COMBINATION OF THE TIGHT SUSPENSION ALONG WITH THE LOW PROFILE OF THE RUN FLAT TIRES MAKES THIS COMBINATION VERY DANGEROUS. *TR
REPEATED SIDEWALL BUBBLES WITH 2012 BMW 550XI GOODYEAR LS II 245/40/19 RUNFLAT TIRES. 6 TIRES NEEDING TO BE REPLACED WITHIN 33,000 MILES DUE TO SIDEWALL BUBBLES. SIGNIFICANT ISSUE ALSO APPEARS ON SOCIAL MEDIA WEBSITE (WWW.BIMMERFEST.COM) AS WELL AS INDIVIDUALS THAT I HAVE DIRECTLY SPOKEN WITH WHO HAVE SAME CAR AND TIRE CONFIGURATION. ALTHOUGH I AM FILING A SINGLE COMPLAINT, THIS IS A DESCRIPTION OF WHAT HAPPENED TO 6 SEPARATE TIRES THAT WERE ON MY AUTOMOBILE. ALL 4 TIRE LOCATIONS WERE AFFECTED. OF NOTE, REPORTED TO BMW CUSTOMER RELATIONS BUT THEY WOULD NOT PERMIT ME TO SPEAK WITH OR PROVIDE CONTACT INFORMATION TO THEIR PRODUCT SAFETY DEPARTMENT IN ORDER TO FILE A PRODUCT SAFETY COMPLAINT. THEREFORE, I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR AGENCY. THE INCIDENTS OCCURRED OVER 2013-2014 BETWEEN APPROXIMATELY MILE 15K AND 33K. ONE INCIDENT OCCURRED WITH A TIRE THAT WAS ONLY 3 WEEKS OLD (IT HAD JUST BEEN REPLACED). INCIDENTS WERE NOT ALWAYS ASSOCIATED WITH WINTER WEATHER OR POTHOLES. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 BMW 550XI. THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH GOODYEAR TIRES, SIZE 245/40/R19. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD VIBRATE WHEN DRIVING CARIOUS SPEEDS. IN ADDITION, THERE WERE SEVERAL BUBBLES ON ALL FOUR TIRES. THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN STATED ALL FOUR TIRES WOULD NEED REPLACING. THE TIRES WERE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN AND DOT NUMBER WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE OF BOTH THE TIRE AND THE VEHICLE WAS 39,000.
BMW 550XI, NORMAL DRIVING, TIRE PRESSURE INDICATOR CAME ON, CAR BECAME UNSTABLE. PARKED VEHICLE AND OBSERVED LARGE BUBBLE IN FRONT RIGHT TIRE SIDEWALL HAD SPLIT, CAUSING RAPID DEFLATION. NO ROAD HAZARDS WERE INVOLVED, MECHANIC STATES THAT THESE TIRES GET SIDEWALL BUBBLES ALL THE TIME. *TR
WE WERE TRAVELING ON A HIGHWAY, HIT A SMALL POTHOLE AND IMMEDIATELY OUR LOW TIRE PRESSURE WARNING WENT OFF. MY HUSBAND WHO WAS DRIVING THE CAR, PULLED TO SAFE LOCATION, GOT OUT TO INSPECT THE PASSENGER FRONT TIRE TO FIND THAT THE GOODYEAR TIRE HAD ACTUALLY BLOWN OUT. WE HAD A 4 INCH TEAR IN THE TIRE JUST ABOVE THE RIM. THIS IS THE THIRD DUNLOP TIRE THAT WE HAVE HAD TO REPLACE WITH THE SAME ISSUES IN THE LAST THREE MONTHS. THE FIRST TIRE WE HAD AN ISSUE WITH BUBBLED, THE 2ND ALSO BUBBLED BUT WITH ONLY 100 MILES ON IT, AND THEN THE LAST WHICH ACTUALLY BLEW OUT COMPLETELY. WE HAVE HAD MADE NUMEROUS CALLS TO DUNLOP AND BMW EXPRESSING OUR SAFETY CONCERN WITH THESE TIRES. *TR
THREE TIRE BUBBLES, FIRST AT 11,000 MILES, TWO MORE AT 12,000. ORIGINAL TIRES ON BMW 535XI SPORT. "GOODYEAR EAGLE LS-2 RUNONFLAT" 245/40R19 BMW QUICKLY REPLACED FOUR TIRES WITH MICHELIN, AT PRORATED COST, SO THEY KNOW THE PROBLEM. TIRES MUST BE RECALLED FOR SAFETY!!!!!!!!! *TR
THIS IS THE 3RD "RUN FLAT TIRE" WITHIN A 3 MONTH PERIOD THAT COULD NOT RUN FLAT EVEN A MILE. *TR
I HAVE A 2012 BMW 550I, CROSSTRACK, V-8, AND WITH ONLY 5500 MILES (PURCHASED IN JULY 2012). WHEN INITIALLY STARTING MY CAR ON A FLAT PLAIN, THE BEHAVIOR OF THE CAR STARTED TO SHAKE FIERCELY, REPEATED LOSS OF POWER, AND THE I-DRIVE REPORTED THE CHASSIS WAS MALFUNCTIONING. ONLY MODERATE DRIVING WAS PERMITTED. THE ENGINE LIGHT STAYED ON, AND NO MATTER HOW FAR THE GAS PEDAL WAS PRESSED, THE CAR WOULD NOT GAIN POWER. WHILE DRIVING, THE CAR STALLED SEVERAL TIMES AS I WAS ATTEMPTING TO GO UP THE HILL TO MY HOME. WHEN THE CAR STALLED, THE GEARS WOULD NOT GO INTO NEUTRAL OR PARK, AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP IMMEDIATELY. THIS EXPERIENCED WAS CLOSE CALL TO CRASHING THE CAR AND POSSIBLE SUSTAINING SIGNIFICANT INJURIES. AFTER WAITING FOR THREE HOURS, THE CAR STARTED UP NORMALLY. SEVERAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE CHATTED WITH REGARDING THE 2012 BMW 550I CROSSTRACK, V-8 HAVE REPORTED THESE SAME EXPERIENCES. APPARENTLY THE REPORTS ALL LINK BACK TO THE FUEL SYSTEM. (E.G., FUEL INJECTORS, FUEL PUMP, FUEL SENSORS, ETC.) *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 BMW 550IX EQUIPPED WITH GOODYEAR EAGLE P245/40/R19. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH AN ALERT ON HIS DASHBOARD ILLUMINATED INSTRUCTING HIM THAT THE VEHICLE SHOULD NOT BE DRIVEN MORE THAN 50 MILES AS THE TIRE WAS GOING FLAT. THIRTY MILES LATER THE VEHICLE WAS STOPPED AND THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE HAD DEVELOPED A BUBBLE ON THE SIDEWALL, WHICH CAUSED THE TIRE TO SHRED. THE VEHICLE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE MANUFACTURER OF THE VEHICLE WAS NOTIFIED BUT OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE TIRES HAD NOT BEEN REPLACED. UPDATED 12/14/12 *BF THE CONSUMER REPLACED ALL FOUR TIRES WITH MICHELIN TIRES. THE CONSUMER STATED TWO OF THE ORIGINAL FOUR TIRES DEVELOPED BUBBLES ON THE SIDEWALL. ON TWO OCCASIONS, THE DRIVE TRAIN MALFUNCTIONED. THE VIDEO SCREEN FLASHED A MESSAGE INSTRUCTING THE CONSUMER TO RETURN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER. IN THE PROCESS, THE VEHICLE LOST A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF POWER OUTPUT AND SHOOK VIOLENTLY WHEN DRIVEN OVER 30 MPH. UPDATED 07/09/13
FRONT TIRE BULDGE AFTER DRIVING OVER A RECESSED MAN WHOLE COVER-THIS IS THE 3RD TIRE I REPLACED . THE TIRES ARE GOODYEAR 245/40 R19 EAGLE RUN FLATS THESE TIRES ARE DANGEROUS , THEY ARE NOT SAFE. *TR
1. NEW 2012 BMW 550XI M SPORT PACKAGE W/APPROX. 6,700 MILES ON FOUR OEM GOODYEAR EAGLE LS2 ROF 245/40R19 98V (DOT NE66 JP1R 3411) TIRES. NO RECOLLECTION OF HITTING ANY POTHOLES, SPEEDBUMPS, CURBS, ETC. 2. NOTICED APPROX. 2.5" X 1" BUBBLE ON FRONT DRIVER SIDE TIRE SIDEWALL AFTER PARKING AT WORKPLACE. NO CRASHES OR INJURIES. 3. VEHICLE DRIVEN DIRECTLY TO BMW DEALER AT LOW SPEED. SERVICE REP SAID TIRE MUST BE REPLACED DUE TO SAFETY CONCERNS AND THAT HE HAD SEEN SEVERAL SIMILAR INCIDENTS. DEALER INSTALLED NEW GOODYEAR TIRE (DOT NE66 JP1R 0412). *TR
AFTER DRIVING ONLY A FEW THOUSAND MILES THE TIRES ON THE CAR FAILED. THE TWO FRONT TIRES "BUBBLED. WITHIN ONE MONTH AFTER, THE LEFT FRONT FAILED BY "BLOWING". IN THE NEXT TWO MONTHS ALL FOUR "NEW" TIRES FAILED, WITH THE SAME "BUBBLING" ISSUE. 4 MONTHS, 7 TIRES - SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG WITH THE ENGINEERING OF THE CAR AS IT RELATED TO THE RUN-FLAT TIRES USED BY BMW CREATING A VERY DANGEROUS RIDING CONDITION. BMW SERVICE IN THE ONE SERVICE CENTER I VISITED CLAIMS TO CHANGE UP TO 15 TIRES PER DAY. MULTIPLY THAT BY THE NUMBER OF SERVICE CENTERS NATIONWIDE AND YOU HAVE A VERITABLE BMW EPIDEMIC OF TIRE FAILURE. *TR
