The contact owns a 2013 BMW 750Li. The contact sated that the air bag warning light remained illuminated on the instrument panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer performed a diagnostic that located failure code: 930910. The driver’s air bag valve resistance was too high, and the air bag module had an internal shortage. The contact was informed that the air bag needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximated failure mileage was 49,000.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED, BUT THE FAILURE CONTINUED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,000.
MY CAR SUDDENLY STOPPED DURING DRIVING IN THE MIDDLE OF ROAD. BMW(N63 ENGINE) SAID THAT THE CRANKSHAFT(ROD BEARING) OF THE MY CAR HAD MELTED AND ATTACHED INSIDE. MY ENGINE WAS DAED TOTALLY. NAVER RESTART ENGINE. I ALMOST WAS IN DEAD. BEACUASE OF SUDDENLY STOPED DURING DRIVING. I REALLY COULD NOT UNDERSTAND SUCH A THIS BREAKDOWN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 116,000.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2013-2015 740i, 740Li, 740Lxi, 750i, 750xi, 750Li and 750Lxi and 2014 ActiveHybrid 7 vehicles. The affected vehicles may have received incorrect replacement left rear taillight assemblies. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
