I HAVE HAD THIS VEHICLE SINCE 2013 AND LIVE ARIZONA. SUMMERS ARE EXTREMELY HOT. WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE FOR OUR FAMILY. AT THE TIME WE HAD 7 CHILDREN. WE NOW HAVE 10, SO EVERY SEAT IN OUR VAN IS TAKEN. WE HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE AIR FLOW AND AIR CONDITIONING SINCE WE PURCHASED THE VAN BACK IN 2013 AND WERE TOLD THAT THIS IS HOW PASSENGER VANS ARE. WE WERE TOLD SINCE IT WAS SUCH A LARGE AMOUNT OF SPACE TO COOL AND ARE VAN IS BLACK IT WAS JUST THE NATURE OF THIS TYPE OF VAN. HOWEVER, AS MORE PEOPLE ARE PURCHASING THIS VAN FOR THEIR FAMILIES WE HAVE READ MORE POSTS ABOUT THE SAME TYPE OF ISSUE AND REFUSE TO CONTINUE TO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS JUST HOW ALL PASSENGER VANS ARE.. THERE HAS TO BE SOMETHING DONE ABOUT THE DESIGN OF THE AIR SYSTEM. MY CHILDREN ARE SWEATING, TURNING RED AND COMPLAIN OF THE HEAT IN THE BACK 2 ROWS. THE ONLY AREA THAT FEELS THE AIR CONDITIONER IS THE FRONT SEAT AND THE 2ND ROW BECAUSE THEY FEEL THE COLD FROM THE FRONT VENTS. I HAVE YOUNG KIDS SITTING IN THE BACK 2 ROWS IN CAR SEATS. I CANNOT VISUALLY SEE HOW HOT THEY ARE GETTING WHILE I'M DRIVING UNTIL WE GET TO OUR DESTINATION AND SEE THEY HAVE BEEN SWEATING PROFUSELY. WE COOL THE CAR OFF FAR AT LEAST 10 MINS BEFORE LOADING THE KIDS AND TRY TO PARK UNDER THE SHADE BUT THE VAN STILL DOES NOT COOL OFF PROPERLY IN THE BACK. I HAVE PURCHASED MINI FANS TO SO THE KIDS CAN TRY AND COOL THEMSELVES OFF WITH THEM BUT IT IS NOT ENOUGH! SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM BEFORE A CHILD SUFFERS FROM HEAT STROKE! NISSAN NEEDS TO TAKE ACTION BEFORE A CHILD IS HURT. THE DESIGN OF THEIR AIR SYSTEM IS NOT ADEQUATE. THEY NEED TO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE FAMILIES THAT REQUIRE THE USE OF A PASSENGER VAN, WHO LIVE IN EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS. THEY CANNOT WAIT UNTIL A CHILD DIES FROM HEAT IN THEIR VEHICLE BEFORE THEY TAKE ANY ACTION TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM.
THE AIR BAG SYMBOL STAYS ON ALL THE TIME.
VEHICLE HOOD RELEASED DUE TO BAD RELEASE DESIGN AND POSSIBLE DEFECT CAUSING MAJOR DAMAGES. THE HOOD RELEASE AND GAS RELEASE ARE NEXT TO EACH OTHER LIKE IN THE 2013 ALTIMA AND THE SAFETY CATCH STICKS OVERTIME LEAVING AN UNSAFE CONDITION.
THE WINDOW REGULATOR BENT INTO ITSELF AND CAUSE THE WINDOW TO NOT BE ABLE TO GO UP. MECHANIC SAID THAT THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN, AND IT SEEMED THE PART WAS FAULTY. THE DOOR LATCH ALSO STOPPED WORKING, YOU COULD OPEN THE DRIVERS DOOR FROM THE INSIDE ONCE, THEN THE LATCH STOPPED WORKING AND THE DOOR WOULD HAVE TO BE OPENED FROM THE OUTSIDE. TWO WEEKS AFTER THAT HAPPENED THE DRIVERS POWER SEAT WILL NO LONGER MOVE FORWARDS AND BACK, BUT OTHER FUNCTIONS ON THE SEAT WORK.

WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 70 MPH WITH THE CRUISE CONTROL ACTIVATED, THERE WAS A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER STEERING, THE STEERING WHEEL WAS LOOSELY DETACHED WITHOUT WARNING AND THE VEHICLE VEERED TO THE RIGHT. THE CONTACT WAS NOT ABLE TO STRAIGHTEN THE STEERING WHEEL AND CRASHED INTO A DITCH AND A FIELD. THERE WERE NO INJURIES AND A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED. THE FAILURE DAMAGED THE UNDERCARRIAGE OF THE VEHICLE AND THE LICENSE PLATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A DEALER AND THE STEERING COLUMN WAS RE-ATTACHED. THE DEALER REFUSED TO PERFORM AN ALIGNMENT. THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 13V603000 (STEERING). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS WAITING FOR A RESPONSE FROM THEM TO FURTHER ADDRESS THE POWER STEERING FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 53,389.

THE VEHICLE WAS DIAGNOSED AS "GROUND VOLTAGE DROPS ON GROUND CIRCUIT TO PUMP TOO HIGH, NEEDS NEGATIVE BATTERY GROUND, MAY ALSO NEED BODY HARNESS REPLACED DUE TO HIGH RESISTANCE IN GROUND CIRCUIT". THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,000. UPDATED 12/20/16*LJ THE CONSUMER ALSO STAED THE TIRES WEAR OUT PREMATURELY AND GET FLAT SPOTS ABOUT EVERY 6-8 INCHES.

VEHICLE TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY AT POSTED SPEED LIMIT WITH NO OTHER CARS AROUND. THE HOOD CAME OPEN AND SMASHED THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD. GLASS ALL OVER ME AND THE DASHBOARD. WAS ABLE TO GET TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD WHERE I WAS ABLE TO BE TOWED TO CLASSIC COLLISION IN EDGEWATER MD. IT SEEMS THAT THE LATCH FAILED AND THE SECONDARY SAFETY LATCH ALSO FAILED.
TRAVELING ON I95 SPEED 70MPH TIRE BLEW OUT. MATCHING TIRE SHOWS PREMATURE WARE. IN YOUR LIST OF , TIRES, AMERICA CARGO TIRES ARE NOT LISTED THIS TIRE IS ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH NISSAN DEALERS. DISREGARD TIRE TYPE SELECTED FROM LIST. I CANNOT REMOVE IT. THE COMPLAINT IS NOT ABOUT AMERI TECH TIRES
THE TIRES ON THIS VEHICLE WEAR EXTREMELY PREMATURELY WHICH CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO SWERVE AND STEER VERY BADLY.THE TIRES WILL MAKE A ROARING, BUMPING, AND A WHA WHA WHA SOUND I DO NOT FEEL SAFE IN THIS VEHICLE. THE TIRES WEAR SO VERY QUICKLY, WITHIN 3-4 MONTHS. THIS IS A VAN REPRESENTED AS A COMMERCIAL VAN,IT CANNOT MEET THE NEEDS OF COMMERCIAL TRANSPORTATION. THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL AND NISSAN NEEDS TO FIGURE OUT WHAT IS CAUSING THE TIRES TO WEAR SO QUICKLY. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND CONSUMERS ARE UNSAFE DUE TO THIS PROBLEM. IT IS GOING TO CAUSE AN INCIDENT OR DEATHS! SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE NISSAN FIGURE OUT WHAT IS CAUSING THIS PROBLEM AND FIX IT SO CONSUMERS ARE SAFE DRIVING ON THE ROADS EVERY DAY FOR THEIR JOBS.
I WAS DRIVING IN YORKTOWN, NY 10598 AND AS I WAS MAKING A RIGHT TURN AT THE CORNER OF HALLOCKS MILL RD. ON TO ROUTE 202, MY NISSAN NV200 VAN JUST STOPPED. THERE WAS NO WARNING, NO FLASHING LIGHTS, NO SOUND, NOTHING TO INDICATE THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE. UP UNTIL THIS POINT, THE VAN WAS DRIVING PERFECTLY AS IT HAD BEEN DOING SINCE I GOT IT. I HAD NO REASON TO SUSPECT THAT IT WOULD JUST COME TO A DEAD HALT AND THE ENGINE WOULD DIE. LUCKILY THERE WAS NOT MUCH TRAFFIC AND CARS WERE NOT GOING FAST. HOWEVER, IF THIS HAD HAPPENED ON A MAIN ROAD, ESPECIALLY ONE OF THE HIGHWAYS THAT I TRAVEL ON, LIKE RTE. 84, THE MAJOR DEEGAN, THE TACONIC, ETC. I WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED. IMAGINE PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC WITH TRUCKS BARRELING DOWN AT YOU AND YOUR CAR JUST STOPS! IMAGINE IF I HAD MY FAMILY IN THE VAN IN SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES. THIS IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE AND I DON'T FEEL I CAN SAFELY DRIVE THIS VEHICLE AGAIN.
AFTER 15000 MILES THE DEALERSHIP SAYS I NEED NEW TIRES ON THE REAR OF MY NV200 VAN. THE AXLE HUBS ARE LEANING IN AT CLOSE TO 5 DEG. THIS IS CHEWING UP THE TIRES AND CAUSING CUPPING. THE TIRES ARE VIBRATING AND MAKING NOISE. NISSAN SAYS THE AXLE IS N SPEC". I HAVE PICTURES SHOWING HOW BAD THEY ARE LEANING IN. YOU DON'T NEED ANY MACHINE TO SEE THEY ARE WAY OFF. THESE ARE JK TYES. YOU DON'T SHOW THEM AS A BRAND. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2013 NISSAN NV200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER TIRE WAS CUPPING FROM PREMATURE WEAR. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT AN ALIGNMENT NEEDED TO BE PERFORMED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. HOWEVER, THE PROBLEM RECURRED 3 TIMES. THE MANUFACTURER HAD BEEN NOTIFIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 28,686.
TIRES WORN OUT PREMATURELY UNDER NORMAL USE. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN RENDERED UNSAFE OR TO DRIVE BECAUSE OF THE ABNORMAL TIRE WEAR PATTERNS, LOSS OF TREAD, CHOPPED UP, CORDS SHOWING , ETCETERA. *TR
TIRES WEAR OUT EXTREMELY PREMATURELY. ONE TIRE ALMOST BLEW OUT BECAUSE IT HAD WORN DOWN TO THE CORDS BECAUSE OF THE DEFECTIVE NATURE OF THESE TIRES. *TR
2013 NISSAN NV200. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO NO REPLACEMENT TIRES FOR VEHICLE, EXCEPT FROM THE DEALER. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED HE IS ON HIS THIRD SET OF TIRES, DUE TO PREMATURE WEAR. THE CONSUMER STATED THERE WAS ONLY ONE COMPANY THAT MAKES TIRES THAT MEET THE SIZE AND LOAD BEARING CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NV200. THE TIRES WERE OF POOR QUALITY AND THEY COULD ONLY BE PURCHASED FROM A NISSAN DEALERSHIP. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 NISSAN NV. THE CONTACT STATED THE ROOF WAS CORRODING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN VERIFIED THE FAILURE AND DECIDED TO PAINT OVER THE CORROSION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,700 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 12,317. UPDATED 06/17/14 MA

HE SAID A BELT HAD LET GO INSIDE THE TIRE AND THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE FOR THE ROAD. THE DEALER SHIP TOLD ME THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DEFECTIVE PARTS.
