The exact situation which is listed on this Ford recall has affected my Taurus. However, this issue is not connected with my VIN even though my window sticker says it was assembled in Chicago. The car would start and then stop, it would not start back up, or it would do a combination. It wasn't the same every time. The dealer I had work on my car replaced the fuel pump driver module and informed me about the recall but I was never able to get in touch with Ford. I have recently been able to connect with Ford and they said it wasn't associated with my VIN and there was nothing they could do or submit to try for reimbursement since it's been over 90 days from when the work was performed.
The contact owns a 2014 Ford Taurus. The contact stated that upon making a right turn into his driveway at 5 MPH, the power steering assist failed as the contact hit a bump in the driveway. Upon restart of the vehicle, the "power steering assist fault, service required" and the "service advance track" warning messages appeared on the instrument panel. The dealer had been notified of the failure and informed the contact that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer had yet to be notified of the failure. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was 77,000.
My vehicle engine stopped running in traffic and would not restart. I had the vehicle towed to my usual service shop. The reason the car stopped and would not restart was diagnosed as a failure of the fuel pump electric module (Ford part GA8Z 9D370 A). My service shop was advised by the Ford parts dealer that there was a recall (# 16V621000) in 2016 for that part. I contacted Ford and was advised that my vehicle VIN was not part of that recall. Do not know why. Certainly, a vehicle that stops running in traffic creates a safety hazard to that vehicle and other vehicle on the road.

The contact had to use excessive force to steer the vehicle. The contact had the vehicle towed to the dealer. The dealer diagnosed the failure and replaced the power steering gear assembly. The manufacturer was also notified of the failure and informed him that his vehicle was not included in a recall. The vehicle had been repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 93,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Ford Taurus. The contact stated while driving at undetermined speed, the vehicle was vibrating. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who informed the contact that the tires were cupping and wearing unevenly, and the passenger’s side control arm and toe link needed to be replaced. Two local dealer was contacted however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact mentioned NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V072000 (Suspension) as a possible solution to the failure however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.

I lost steering and turn light signal function completely. It started on the highway (I96) and the alert went off on the dashboard: Service Advance Trac, Steering Fault Service Now, Steering Loss Stop Safely. I got off exit for Nunica and loss turn signal and when I turned on 130th Street I was having a hard time turning the steering wheel. Thank God I made it to a location and was able to stop.
Over the weekend I noticed my steering was making a cluck noise from both the front and rear making the car very uncomfortable to ride and it kinda moves more left or a little right when on highway. I also noticed my check engine light came on. I took the car to get looked and the diagnosis read I have bad fuel pump line or evap dont know smell fuse of gas, gas gauge goes up an down. I was to notify NHTSA and to Report this incident and whether to see if theirs any Recall to my Vehicle. Please and thank you.
My brother was making a left turn at the intersection of 170th street.He had been traveling north on Torrence avenue in Lansing prior to the collision. He had come to a complete stop while waiting to safely complete a left turn to travel west on 170th street. As he proceeded through the intersection at 170th & Torrence avenue,a southbound vehicle ran through the stop signal and collided with the 2014 Taurus vehicle ,my brother was driving.After the contact the air bags in the 2014 ford Taurus did not deploy and the 2014 ford Taurus had spun around facing south,when it came to a complete stop
The power steering failed for no reason and i hit a curb.There is multiple complaints on the internet with this same issue..Very dangerous and it happened without warning if there was a pedestrian on the curb i could of hit them.
HAD MY RACK AND PINION REPLACED BACK IN 11/18/2019, AND NOW THE SAME PROBLEM HAS OCCURED AGAIN. ON, APRIL 28TH I HAD A RECALL FOR THE HANDSHAFT FIXED AT THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP. TWO DAYS LATER WHILE DRIVING MY STEERING COLUMN LOCKED WHILE TRYING TO MAKE A LEFT TURN TO ANOTHER STREET. AND AN ALERT STATING "STEERING ASSIST FAULT SERVICE REQUIRED" "SERVICE ADVANCE TRAC" FLASHED IN INFO CENTER. I AM CONCERNED BECAUSE THIS WAS A RECALL THAT OCCURED ON PREVIOUS MODELS AND THE RECALL ENDED WITH THE 2013 MODEL. OBVIOUSLY THE PROBLEM IS STILL OCCURING WITH THIS ELECTRICAL PART AND HAS YET TO BE ADDRESSED WITH FORD. NOT ONLY IS THIS A INCONVIENCE IT'S A SAFETY HAZARD AS WELL. MULTIPLE PEOPLE HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH THE 6TH GENERATION FORD TAURUS. WHEN YOU GO TO THE DEALERSHIP THEY TELL YOU IT'S A $250 PART WITH A ADDITIONAL $50 LABOR. FORD KNOWS THIS IS A PROBLEM, I PERSONALLY THINK IT SHOULD BE RECALLED.
THE FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE IS FAILING, WHICH IS CAUSING THE ENGINE TO NOT START AND OR KEEPS STALLING WHEN TURNING THE KEY. MY MECHANIC GAVE ME THE RECALL AND DIRECTED ME TO MY NEAREST FORD DEALERSHIP, BUT WHEN GIVEN THE VIN NUMBER THEY SAID THERE IS 0 RECALLS ON MY VEHICLE. THEREFOR THIS RECALL IS VIN SPECIFIC AND WILL NOT COVER MY REPAIRS. THE MECHANIC DID AGREE THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THE MAKE AND MODEL BUT NOT SPECIFIC TO MY VEHICLE. UPSETTING AND CONFUSED WHY MY VEHICLE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS RECALL.

MY DEALER IS ADVISING THAT MY VIN IS NOT PART OF THAT CAMPAIGN THOUGH ALL ITEMS FITS THE RECALL. MY CAR IS A TAURUS, IT IS A 2014, IT WAS MADE IN CHICAGO AND THE PART FAILED WHILE DRIVING WHICH COULD HAVE RESULTED IN A CRASH.
WAS PULLING UP TO A STOPLIGHT IN TOWN, THE IN DASH LIT UP WITH "ELECTRIC STEERING ASSIST FAIL" AND MY STEERING WHEEL STIFFENED UP AS IF I LOST POWER STEERING, I STOPPED, CYCLED THE KEY AND THE POWER STEERING RETURNED. THERE WAS NO PRIOR WARNING OR IN DASH LIGHTS TO THIS INCIDENT. A WEEK WENT BY WITH NO INCIDENT OR SIGN OF TROUBLE. WAS REVERSING OUT OF A PARKING SPOT 7 DAYS LATER AND THE SAME PROBLEM OCCURRED. I CYCLED THE KEY AGAIN, AND THE PROBLEM WENT AWAY. I JUST LEFT THE FORD SERVICE CENTER AND AND THEY PULLED THE CODE C200D:49. SINCE THE LATEST INCIDENT, THERE HAS BEEN NO PROBLEM. I DECLINED THE REPAIRS AS THEY WERE $2200 AND I KNOW FORD HAS RECALLED PREVIOUS YEARS OF MY VEHICLE FOR THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM.
CAR WOULD NOT START. AFTER TWO SEPARATE TOWS TO DEALERSHIP, FUEL PUMP DRIVER MODULE WAS FOUND TO BE FAULTY AND WAS REPLACED. THIS PART WAS RECALLED ON OTHER 2014 TAURUS' IN RELATION TO 16V62100. THE FAULTY PART FROM MY VEHICLE MATCHES THE NUMBERS IN THE RECALL LETTER FORD MOTOR CO. SENT TO DEALERSHIPS. FORD AND LOCAL DEALERSHIP ARE DEIGNING REIMBURSEMENT FOR THIS REPAIR

WE WERE RETURNING TO OUR FARM FROM A TRIP TO TOWN. THE CRUISE CONTROL WAS SET AT THE 70MPH SPEED LIMIT. A RECENT CONSTRUCTION PROJECT GAVE US A NEWLY PAVED ROAD. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL SUNNY DAY WITH NO WIND AND TEMPS IN THE LOW 80'S. WE WERE ENJOYING THE RIDE AND NOTED WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT THE NEWLY PAVED ROAD WAS. WITHOUT WARNING THE TIRES BEGAN SQUEALING AND THE CONTROL CHARACTERISTICS OF OUR TAURUS CHANGED DRAMATICALLY. THE STEERING BECAME LABORED (I BELIEVE FROM THE AUTOMATED ANTI LOCK AND TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGAGEDING). MY ATTEMPT TO COMPENSATE FOR THE VIOLENT CHANGE IN VEHICLE OPERATION AND REGAIN CONTROL WERE QUICKLY FUTILE. WE SUCCUMBED TO THE LAWS OF MOTION SPINNING HOPELESSLY OUT OF CONTROL ACROSS THE ONCOMING LANE INTO THE OPPOSITE DITCH AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. MIRACULOUSLY WE THERE WAS NO ONCOMING TRAFFIC AND WE DIDN'T PLUNGE INTO THE MYRIAD OF STEEP TERRAIN CONDITIONS COMMON ON THIS STRETCH OF HIGHWAY. WE DID NOT ROLL BUT CAME VIOLENTLY TO REST ON THE FAR UPSLOPE OF THE OPPOSITE ROADSIDE DITCH. MY LATER RESEARCH FOR THE CAUSE OF OUR SUDDEN LOSS OF CONTROL PRODUCED THE NHTSA RECALL NO. :20V-072 WHICH IDENTIFIED THE REAR TOE LINK ON CERTAIN FORD MODELS AS SUBJECT TO FAILURE. I LATER CONFIRMED THE DRIVER SIDE REAR TOE LINK HAD SNAPPED ON OUR TAURUS AND WAS THE CAUSE OF OUR ACCIDENT.

UPON RESEARCH, THE CONTACT LINKED HIS FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V621000 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE). THE CONTACT NOTIFIED THE MANUFACTURER WHO INFORMED HIM THAT HIS VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER OFFERED NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE HAD BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 55,000.
CAR IS PARKED IN DRIVEWAY, AND WITHOUT WARNING, THE CAR WILL NO LONGER START. CAR ATTEMPTS TO START AND CRANKING LAST FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 SECONDS, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS. SEARCHES ONLINE AS TO THE CAUSE LEAD ME TO BELIEVE THIS IS THE FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE, A FAULTY PART AT THE CENTER OF SAFETY RECALL 16S31. HOWEVER MY MODEL IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE RECALL.

OCCURS EVERY 2000 TO 3000 MILES WHEN SLOWING DOWN TO STOP. AS I GET NEAR THE IDLE SPEED (2-3 MPH) WITH MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDDLE THE ENGINE STARTS TO REV UP AND PULL THE CAR FORWARD. I HAVE TO THROW THE TRANSMISSION INTO NEUTRAL AND THE ENGINE RPM'S SPIKE UP TO 5000 TO 6000 AND THEN IMMEDIATELY SETTLES OUT TO AN IDLE SPEED. I HAD A TUNEUP DONE AT 100K MILES AND PART OF THE SERVICE WAS TO "RESET" THE COMPUTER SYSTEM. THE SHOP RAN A FULL DIAGNOSTIC. THIS DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. I'M AT ABOUT 118K MILES NOW. THIS PROBLEM STARTED TO OCCUR AFTER ABOUT 75K MILES DURING CALENDAR YEAR 2018.

POWER ASSIST IS DEFTLY, LOSING POWER WHEN SLOWING DOWN TO TURN, VERY TOUGH TO TURN HALF THE TIME. THE HAVE A RECALL FOR IT BUT FOR THE YEARS 2011-13 WHEN 2014 SHOULD BE INCLUDED THERE'S A LOT OF OTHERS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS.
THE POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING. GOT A WARNING ABOUT THE ISSUE AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND WARNING SAID TO PULL OVER SAFELY. ONCE I STOPPED AND SHUT OFF THE VEHICLE THE POWER STEERING STOPPED WORKING.
CAME TO A GAS STATION TO PUT IN GAS. THEN TURNED ON THE CAR AND THE POWER STEERING DIED AND GOT A WARNING ADVANCETRAC ISSUE. WAS NOT ABLE TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL AND HAD IT TOWED.
AFTER FUELING UP, STARTED CAR(2014 TAURUS) TO LEAVE AND WAS UNABLE TO TURN STEERING WHEEL. INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PANEL STATED THERE WAS A POWER STEERING FAILURE AND SERVICE WAS REQUIRED. WAS ABLE TO DRIVE AWAY FROM PUMPS WITH NO STEERING TO PARK OUT OF THE WAY. AFTER 20 MINUTES AND RESTARTING THE CAR WAS ABLE TO CLEAR THE FAILURE MESSAGE BY CLICKING ON THE "OK" ACKNOWLEDGING THE FAILURE AND THE STEERING CAME BACK. NOT SURE IF IT WAS THE CLICKING ON THE "OK" THAT RELEASED THE STEERING OR NOT. DROVE THE CAR HOME AT GREAT RISK AND HAVE IT SCHEDULED FOR SERVICE ON WED 3/42020. FROM INVESTIGATING THE PROBLEM IT APPEARS FORD SHOULD BE FORCED TO DO A RECALL ON THIS MODEL AND THE PROBLEM, THEY DID FOR THE 2011, 2012 AND 2013 MODEL THEY NEED TO INCLUDE THE 2014. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY SHOULD COVER THIS BUT IT APPEARS TO CLEARLY BE A FORD DESIGN/ENGINEERING PROBLEM FORD SHOULD PAY FOR.

WENT TO START VEHICLE AND THE VEHICLE'S FUEL PUMP DID NOT MAKE A SOUND. CHECKED THE FUSES TO THE FUEL PUMP AND THEY CHECKED OUT GOOD. TOOK A POWER PROBE TO THE FUEL PUMP AND FUEL PUMP WORKED. DISCOVERED IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP RELAY BEHIND REAR SEAT ON PASSENGER SIDE. REPLACED AND IT FIXED THE ISSUE.

I HAD TO BUY THE PART AND INSTALL IT TO GET THE VEHICLE THERE. DUMB, I KNOW, BUT IT WAS CHEAPER THAN A TOW TRUCK AND I WANTED IT CORRECTED BY THE DEALER FOR SAFETY PURPOSES. DURING THE DRIVE THERE I NOTICED A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON SO I REPORTED IT. I ALSO REPORTED TO THEM THAT THE VEHICLE HESITATES, OR JERKS, WHEN DRIVING AT LOW TO MODERATE SPEEDS. THEY CORRECTED THE RECALL AND CHARGED ME $145.00 FOR ANOTHER SENSOR THEY CLAIMED WAS CAUSING THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TO COME ON AND THE CAR TO JERK LIKE IT WAS. I DROVE OFF AND IMMEDIATELY NOTICED THE CAR WAS DOING THE SAME THING. I TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THEM AND THEY WAITED 2 DAYS TO TELL ME THAT THE CAR WAS RUNNING AND DRIVING JUST FINE AND THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING ELSE WRONG WITH THE MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION WHEN THEIR TECHNICIAN DROVE IT. I ASKED HIM TO RIDE WITH ME IN THE CAR AND AFTER ABOUT 5 MINUTES OF DRIVING HE HAD ME PULL OVER AND TURN THE CAR OFF SO THAT HE COULD "CLEAR ALL CODES WITHIN THE TRANSMISSION." THE PROBLEM CONTINUED SO THEY TALKED ME INTO TAKING THE CAR HOME TO "SEE IF ANY CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS COME ON" DURING REGULAR USE. AFTER DOING SO, TO NO AVAIL, THEY SAID THAT THE PROBLEM WAS TRANSMISSION RELATED AND IT WOULD COST ANOTHER $100.00 JUST TO LOOK AT. I DON'T MIND PAYING THE FEE FOR DIAGNOSIS BUT I'M HESITANT TO TAKE IT BACK TO THEM IF I MAY BE CHARGED FOR ITEMS NOT RELATED TO THE ISSUE. I TOOK IT UPON MYSELF TO DO RESEARCH ONLINE AND I HAVE FOUND OTHERS WITH THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM THAT TURNED OUT TO BE A SOLENOID IN THE TRANSMISSION. WONDERING WHY THIS PART HASN'T BEEN RECALLED IF IT COULD DEEM THE VEHICLE UNSAFE TO DRIVE. ALSO, THERE IS NO DIPSTICK TO CHECK TRANSMISSION FLUID OTHERWISE I WOULD HAPPILY CHECK IT MYSELF.

SOMETIME IN MARCH 2019 MY CAR DIDNT WANT TO START.IT HAD BEEN PARKED OVER NIGHT AT MY HOUSE. I TRIED TO START IT AND IT JUST KEPT TURNING OVER BUT NO START. I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY HAD IT TOWED TO THE DEALER. I WAS ADVISED THAT IT WAS THE BATTERY. I WAS CHARGED ABOUT $185 TO BUY ANOTHER BATTERY. THE CAR WAS WORKING FINE UNTIL MAY 2, 2019 IT WAS PARKED AT MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND HAD TO LEAVE IT THERE OVER NIGHT AND HAVE IT TOWED THE NEXT MORNING TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE WANTED TO CHARGE ME $400 TO GET IT REPLACED. MY ARGUEMENT IS I COULD OF SAVED $185 ON A BATTERY THAT DIDNT NEED REPLACING AND 2 MONTHS LATER THEY WANTED ME TO DITCH OUT MORE MONEY. TOTAL COST WAS $1,822.00. MUST ISSUE A RECALL DUE TO SAFETY ISSUES WITH MALFUNCTIONING EPAS GEAR. THE 3 PRIOR YEARS' MODELS HAD A RECALL. WHY NOT THIS YEAR'S MODEL? DONT WAIT FOR INJURY OR DEATH.

MY TAURUS IS ONLY A SEL, AND I SAW WHERE MANY OTHER PEOPLE WERE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH THEIR EVERYDAY 2013-2015 FORD VEHICLE. THESE PEOPLE REPLACED THEIR OWN FUEL PUMP RELAY MODULE AND FIXED THEIR PROBLEM. I DECIDED TO TRY IT MYSELF. SURE ENOUGH; I, A SINGLE MOM ON A VERY FIXED INCOME, GETS A RIDE TO MY LOCAL AUTO PARTS STORE, BUYS THE FUEL PUMP RELAY MODULE FOR $75.00, INSTALL THE PART MYSELF, AND IT WORKED LIKE A CHARM! THERE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL ON ALL OF THESE 2013-2015 FORD TAURUS'S SO PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF AND THE OTHER FEW I CAME ACROSS ONLINE CAN GET OUR MONEY BACK, AND PREVENT OTHERS FROM HAVING TO GO THROUGH THE PANIC OF HAVING ONLY ONE VEHICLE (THAT SHOULD BE VERY DEPENDABLE) THAT WON'T START. MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING HOME AFTER A NIGHT OF OUT WITH FRIENDS, AND THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT AS WE WERE GOING UP A SNOWY HILL IN TOWN. HE SLID FROM ONE SIDE OF THE ROAD TO THE OTHER. THE FOLLOWING AFTERNOON I GO TO GET IN CAR AND MESSAGE CAME ION DASH STATING "STEERING FAILURE" AND STEERING WHEEL WOULD NOT MOVE. THE CAR IS BEING TOWED ON MONDAY OCTOBER 29 TO CLOSEST FORD DEALER. I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING THIS PROBLEM WITH SAME MODEL AND YEAR, AND THERE ARE NUMEROUS ISSUES THE SAME AS OUR POLICE CAR. FORD DEALER CALLED AND TOLD ME IT NEEDS $2636.14 OF REPAIR TO PRIMARILY INCLUDE $789.88 TO "DIAG & REPLACE STEERING GEAR, CLEAR CODES, CHECK & SET TOE FT & REAR (FOUND STEERING GEAR FAULTED, CODE U3000:49) AND $1,650.27 TO "STEERING GEAR (FOUND STEERING GEAR FAULTED, CODE U3000:49). THIS CAR IS NOT EVEN 5 YEARS OLD AND HAS 57,602 MILES ON IT. WE ARE VERY BLESSED THAT THE STEERING DID NOT GO OUT WHILE MY WIFE WAS DRIVING WITH MY DAUGHTER IN THE BACK SEAT.

THE VEHICLE WILL SOMETIMES CRANK BUT WILL NOT START. IT HAPPENS MORE OFTEN ON HOT DAYS AND WHEN PARKED WITH THE PASSENGER SIDE TOWARDS THE SUN. THE LOCAL DEALER IS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. I LEFT THE CAR WITH THE DEALER FROM 6/8/2018-6/20/2018 AND THE CAR ONLY FAILED TO START ONE TIME AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIND THE REASON. SINCE PICKING THE CAR UP IT HAS FAILED TO START THREE TIMES. I CHECKED ONLINE AND FOUND THAT THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH THE FUEL PUMP RELAY. I PULLED THE RELAY FROM OUR CAR AND IT IS THE SAME ONE THAT HAS A RECALL EXCEPT OURS IS ON A TAURUS LIMITED NOT THE SHO. I RECOMMEND RECALLING ALL VEHICLES WITH THE SAME FUEL PUMP RELAY REGARDLESS OF MODEL/TRIM. I HAVE ATTACHED A PHOTO OF OUR CAR'S FUEL PUMP RELAY.

THIS MORNING, WHEN MY WIFE STARTED THE CAR AND AN ERROR MESSAGE SHOWED UP THAT 'STEERING ASSIST FAULT SERVICE REQUIRED'. AND THE STEERING WAS LOCKED AND VERY HARD TO TURN. I DID SOME SEARCH ONLINE AND IT TURNED OUT IT IS THE COMMON ISSUE FOR FORD AND 2010-2013 TAURUS WAS ON THE RECALL LIST. JUST WONDER WHY 2014 WAS NOT WHEN THE PROBLEM EXISTS THE SAME.
PULLING INTO MY GARAGE, STEERING WARNING FLASHED, UNABLE TO DRIVE. FORTUNATE I WASN'T HALF IN HALF OUT. OR WORSE, NEARING THE TURN. PART IS THE STEERING GEAR ELECTRONIC COMPONENT. PART IS $1400 PLUS LABOR MAKING IT WAY ABOVE $2K TO REPAIR AND UNIT WILL GO OUT AGAIN. THERE IS NO WARNING, NO WAY TO DRIVE AND A SAFETY ISSUE IF IN TRAFFIC OR AT HIGH SPEEDS. COST IS PROHIBITIVE. MORE SO, THIS VEHICLE HAS LESS THAN 40K MILES ON IT AND THE ELECTRONICS ARE GOING OUT FAST. NO BLUETOOTH, NO DASH CONNECTIONS, NOW NO STEERING. CORPORATE FORD WILL NOT COVER REPAIRS. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? IS THERE A DEFECT IN THIS MODEL OR IS IT ALL IN ELECTRONICS. BUYER BEWARE, ELECTRONICS ARE DEADLY. I WON'T EVEN GET IN THIS VEHICLE.

AS I WAS DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY OUT OF NO WHERE MY STEERING STARTING STICKING AND EXTREMELY HARD TO TURN ALMOST CAUSING ME TO CRASH WITH MY TWO KIDS IN THE CAR. I BROUGHT IT TO MY MECHANIC AND IT NEEDS A STEERING RACK! THE CAR IS 4 YRS OLD WITH 70K MILES IT SHOULD NOT NEED A STEERING RACK! MY CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND WELL MAINTAINED THERE WAS NO WARNING SIGNS OR ANYTHING BEFORE THIS HAPPENED!
A FAULT DEVELOPED IN THE WIRING LEADING FROM THE DASH BUTTON FOR THE REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER AND THE DEFROSTER ITSELF. THE FORD REPAIR SHOP TRACED THE FAULT TO A FOUR FOOT AREA BETWEEN THE DRIVER'S DOOR AND THE DRIVER'S SIDE PASSENGER DOOR. REWIRING OF THE SHORTED OUT WIRE WAS REQUIRED. THERE WAS NO EXPLANATION TO WHAT CAUSED THE SHORT OTHER THAN POTENTIAL FACTORY FAULT.
WHILE DRIVING I WENT TO TAKE A LEFT HAND TURN AND MY STEERING WENT OUT AND INTO A MANUAL MODE. I WAS ABLE TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT, BUT IT HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES IN THE LAST THREE MONTHS. ABOUT HALF THE TIME, WHEN WINDSHIELD WIPERS ARE TURNED ON, THEY WILL NOT SHUT OFF. I HAVEN'T EXPERIENCED THEM TURNING ON SUDDENLY AS I DRIVE. THEY STAY ON WHEN I TURN THEM ON. THE HEADLIGHTS STAY ON AS WELL. EVEN WHEN TURNING LIGHTS OFF, THE WIPERS REMAIN. THIS CAUSES THEM TO BE ON WHILE IT'S DRY RESULTING IN A DRAGGING WIPE AND NOISE. IT CAN ALSO CAUSE A MINOR SMUDGE. I'VE HAD THE CAR SINCE JUNE 2016 AND THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN ISSUE. TO TURN THEM ON CAUSES HESITATION AS THEY MAY NOT TURN OFF ANY TIME SOON. THERE IS NO KILL SWITCH ON MY MODEL CAR, FOR THEM TO RESET THINKING I HAD HIT A BUMP AND SOMEHOW SET OFF THE THEFT FEATURE THAT KILLS FUEL TO THE ENGINE WHEN MY CAR THINKS IT BEING STOLEN(?). THEY WERE ABLE TO BYPASS SOMETHING TO GET THE CAR TO CRANK WHICH DETERMINED THE FUEL PUMP WAS IN WORKING ORDER. THEY WERE LOOKING FOR THE FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE WHEN WE FOUND THE NHTSA #16V621000, WHICH SHOWS THE 2013-2015 FORD TAURUS MODELS (WHICH I HAVE), "A COMPONENT WITHIN THE FUEL PUMP ELECTRIC MODULE (PEM) MAY OVERHEAT CAUSING A LOSS OF ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE FUEL PUMP. I RECALL RECENTLY THAT WHILE I WAS DRIVING ONE DAY I COULD SMELL SOMETHING BURNING, AN ELECTRICAL WIRING SMELL, BUT SINCE MY CAR STILL RAN DIDN'T THINK ANYTHING ABOUT IT. WHEN YOU TYPE IN MY VIN, THIS RECALL DOES NOT SHOW UP, BUT WHEN YOU ENTER THE YEAR, MAKE AND MODEL IT DOES SHOW UP. I STRONGLY URGE THE PROPER PEOPLE AT FORD TO LOOK INTO THIS. IT SEEMS TO BE CONSISTENT WITH CUSTOMER SATISFACTION PROGRAM 17B22, WHICH WAS RECENTLY ISSUED FOR THE POLICE UTILITY VEHICLES OF THIS SAME YEAR, BUT DID NOT INCLUDE THE SEDAN. MY CARE ONLY HAS 46+ THOUSAND MILES ON IT. IN FEBRUARY OF 2017, I CAME OUT TO START MY CAR AS I HAVE DONE EVERY DAY SINCE I GOT IT AS A USED CAR AT 22,000 MILES . THE CAR WOULD NOT START. IT JUST TURNED OVER, BUT WOULD NOT START! I HAD IT TOWED TO A CERTIFIED MECHANIC, AND IT WAS FOUND TO BE A BAD FUEL MODULE UNDER THE BACK SEAT. IT WAS REPLACED AND DROVE FINE FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS. IT DID IT AGAIN IN EARLY JULY 2017. TOOK IT BACK, MODULE WAS BAD AGAIN. REPLACED AGAIN. DROVE IT FOR 1 DAY, TANK FULL OF 93 GAS, IT SHUTS OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD, ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, AND WOULD NOT START (IT TURNED OVER, BUT WOULD NOT START LIKE IT WAS OUT OF GAS). I CHECKED FOR A RECALL, AND IN AUGUST 25, 2016 NHTSA DID A RECALL ON CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V621000. I CALLED FORD AS DIRECTED TO DO, AND WAS TOLD MY CAR DID NOT HAVE A RECALL ON THE FUEL SYSTEM. I ARGUED THAT I HAVE THE CAMPAIGN NUMBER, BUT THE PERSON VEHEMENTLY REFUSED TO EVEN LOOK UP THE NUMBER. THE CAR IS BACK IN THE SHOP. I LOVE MY CAR, BUT I AM FRUSTRATED THAT FORD WILL NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE RECALL FROM AUGUST 2016. WHAT DO I DO? I CAN UPLOAD ALL OF MY INVOICES FORM MY MECHANIC WHEN HE PROVIDES THE TO ME.

CAR SITS AND COOLS DOWN AFTER A TIME PASSES APPROXIMATELY 15 -30 MIN AND CAR WILL START BACK UP. ALL ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS WORK AS FAR AS DASH, LIGHTS, RADIO, ETC. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A SIMILAR RECALL OF THE SAME MAKE AND YEAR BUT DIFFERENT TRIM... ALSO THE COMPLAINTS ARE VERY SIMILAR.
I HAD THIS CAR FOR ABOUT 8 MONTHS IN 2015 AND IT HAD CARBON MONOXIDE LEAKAGES. I SENT THIS CAR TO 2 DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND THEY TOLD ME THE CAR HAD NO ISSUES. I HAD SYMPTOMS OF SEVERE HEADACHE, BLURRED VISION AND CONFUSED STATE OF MIND ALL CONDITIONS ASSOCIATED WITH CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING. I BOUGHT INDUSTRIAL GRADE DETECTORS BUT THEY DID NOT PICK UP ANYTHING. HOWEVER WHEN MY DOCTOR ORDERED BLOOD TESTS THEY SHOWED SERIOUS EXPOSURE TO CARBON MONOXIDE. I HAD THE FIRE DEPARTMENT COME IN AT TEST MY RESIDENCE BUT THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF CARBON MONOXIDE LEAKS. I FINALLY GAVE UP THE CAR AND BOUGHT SOMETHING ELSE. MY BLOOD WORK CAME BACK AFTER A RETEST ABOUT A MONTH AFTER I LET THE CAR GO. I HAVE NOT HAD THESE SYMPTOMS SINCE THEN. THIS IS A CLEAR INDICATION THAT THE CAR WAS THE PROBLEM AND YET NO DEALERSHIP HELPED ME OUT. I DROVE 100 MILES A DAY IN THAT CAR AND I AM SURE HAD I JUST KEPT IT SOMETHING CATASTROPHIC WOULD HAVE HAPPENED. I AM REPORTING THIS NOW DUE TO REPORTS OF SEVERAL FORD EXPLORER RECALLS. TAKATA RECALL. THE STARTED MODULAR HAS AN ISSUE. IT WILL CRANK AND NOT START, 7/8 OF FUEL. PUSH START ENGINE. NEW BATTERIES IN REMOTE. CAR WAS PARKED AND I ATTEMPTED TO START WITH BOTH THE FOB AND DIRECT. HAD TO GET IT TOWED. NOW COSTING ALMOST $250. MYSYNC REPORT HAD NO INDICATION. NEITHER DID ANY LIGHTS ON THE DASH AS A WARNING.
I TOOK A 50 MILE TRIP ON THE EXPRESSWAY TO ANOTHER CITY. I TURNED THE CAR OFF WHEN STOPPING TO GET SOME FOOD. AFTER THE CAR WAS PARKED 10 MINUTES I TURNED IT BACK ON TO LEAVE. WITH THE CAR TURNED ON I STARTED TO BACK UP AND NOTICED HOW I COULD HARDLY TURN MY STEERING WHEEL. I PARKED AND THEN TURNED THE CAR BACK ON AND IT CONTINUED DOING THE SAME THING. THERE WERE TWO MESSAGES APPEARING FROM THE COMPUTER: "STEERING ASSIST SERVICE REQUIRED" AND "SERVICE ADVANCED TRAC". I JUST PURCHASED MY CAR WHEN THE LEASE ENDED AND HAVE ONLY MADE TWO PAYMENTS ON IT AND ITS BROKE! I ONLY HAVE 15,976 MILES ON THIS 2014 TAURUS WHICH NEVER HAD ANYTHING WRONG ON IT BEFORE. I BOUGHT A PREMIUM WARRANTY WHEN I PURCHASED IT AND HOPE THAT THIS IS COVERED. MY HUSBAND, MY GOLDEN RETRIEVER AND MYSELF WERE THANKFULLY NOT ON THE EXPRESSWAY WHEN THIS HAPPENED, BUT PARKED. I HAD DRIVEN US ON OUR OUTING AND I DON'T KNOW IN RUSH HOUR TRAFFIC IF I COULD HAVE STEERED THE CAR OVER TO SAFETY. WE HAD THANKFULLY FOUND A TOWING TRUCK THAT ALLOWED OUR DOG TO TRAVEL WITH US.
AS I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 70 PLUS MPH MY CAR LOST ACCELERATION POWER THIS MAKES THE 3 TIME IT HAS DONE THIS, BUT THIS TIME I WAS STUCK IN THE FAST LANE WITH NOW POWER BECAUSE A CAR WAS IN THE SLOW LANE, I WAS STUCK I HAD TO THROW ON MY EMERGENCY BLINKERS AND WAIT BEFORE I COULD GET OVER TO THE SHOULDER I HAD CARS LOCKING IT UP BEHIND ME ABOUT HITTING ME. 2014 FORD TAURUS RECALL: MY CAR WOULDN'T START AFTER BEING PARKED, I REPLACED THE BATTERY, AND IT STILL WOULD NOT START. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS OR WARNINGS CAME ON. I WAS CHECKING ONLINE AND FOUND THAT THERE IS A RECALL OUT FOR MY MAKE MODEL & YEAR OF CAR FOR A FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE MALFUNCTION BUT DIDN'T INCLUDE MY VIN. I GOT IT TOWED TO A LOCAL AUTO SHOP AND DIAGNOSED AND THIS WAS SPECIFICALLY THE ISSUE. I HAD TO PAY OUT OF POCKET BECAUSE MY VIN# HADN'T BEEN INCLUSIVE OF THIS RECALL. I NEED TO GET MY VIN ADDED, MY CAR HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AS THE ONES COVERED, SO I CAN GET REIMBURSED.
TWO MONTHS AGO MY CAR WON'T START. AFTER SOME RESEARCH I NOTICED THE MOST LIKELY CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM WAS THE FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE. THEN I FOUND OUT THAT FORD HAD ISSUED A SAFETY RECALL FOR THE ISSUE. I CALLED THE FORD DEALERSHIP AND THE RECALL WAS FOR A DIFFERENT SIZE ENGINE. LAST WEEK I WAS DRIVING HOME ON THE INTERSTATE GOING THE SPEED LIMIT OF 70 MPH AND THE CAR QUIT. THE RECALL STATES "IN THE AFFECTED VEHICLES, THE FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE COULD FAIL, WHICH MAY CAUSE AN ENGINE TO NOT START OR STALL. IN SOME CASES, THE ENGINE COULD STALL WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING AND WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO RESTART, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH." STARTED VEHICLE AT HOME, DROVE APPROXIMATELY 45 MILES TO WORK AND PARKED. AFTER EXITING VEHICLE AND WALKING ABOUT 30 FEET, HEARD A LOUD BANG AND SAW THE REAR WINDOW SHATTER. IT WAS 19 F OUTSIDE TEMP. ON REPLACING THE REAR WINDOW, TECHNICIAN DISCOVERED REAR WINDOW DEFROSTER CONNECTOR ON PASSENGER SIDE WAS MELTED AND ON THE PIECE OF GLASS STILL CONNECTED TO THE WIRE, BURNT GLASS. FUSE/RELAY ON THE REAR DEFROSTER CIRCUIT WAS NOT BLOWN.
MY CAR WAS DRIVING FINE ON MONDAY NIGHT WITH NO PROBLEMS NOTED. ON TUESDAY MORNING UPON GETTING READY TO LEAVE FOR WORK, MY CAR STATIONARY SITTING OUTSIDE THE HOUSE. THE GAS GAUGE SHOWED A LOW FUEL LIGHT SO GAS WAS ADDED JUST TO MAKE SURE THAT IT WASN'T TOO LOW TO REGISTER. THAT DID NOT WORK, EITHER. I BELIEVE SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE FUEL PUMP AS THERE IS A RECALL OUT ON OTHER CARS LIKE MINE. *TR
WAS IN THE PARKING LOT AT WORK PREPARING TO LEAVE AND STARTED THE CAR UP AND THE BATTERY LIGHT ILLUMINATED AND DISPLAYED CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM. THE STEERING WHEEL WAS LOCKED UP AND WOULDN'T BUDGE. I TURNED OFF THE IGNITION AND TURNED IT BACK ON AND THE CAR WAS ABLE TO MOVE AND I DROVE IT HOME. WILL BE TAKING IT TO THE DEALERSHIP TODAY.
2014 FORD TAURUS BATTERY IS DYING. I DO NOT DRIVE THIS CAR A LOT AND IT HAS 93,134 MILES. IVE GOTTON 4 JUMPS AND THE CAR STARTS RIGHT UP. I TOOK THE CAR TO AUTO ZONE TO TEST THE BATTERY AND THE ALTERNATOR. BOTH NUMBER CAME BACK GREAT. WHY IS MY BATTERY DYING OVERNIGHT. NOTHING IS ON THAT I CAN SEE. MY ENGINE LIGHT IS NOW ON. I DOUBLED CHECK ALL POWER EQUIPMENT TO MAKE SURE IT WASNT STUCK IN PLACE. NOTHING. MY BATTERY JUST DIES.

WHEN HE TESTED THE FUEL PUMP RELAY, THE CAR STARTED WORKING, HOWEVER, THE RELAY WAS NOT REPLACED BUT EXCHANGED WITH AN IDENTICAL RELAY ALREADY ON THE CAR. EVEN THOUGH THE PROBLEM WAS NOT FOUND, THE CAR SEEMED TO RUN FINE. THE CAR WAS USED FOR ABOUT FIVE DAYS - EVEN A TRIP THIS MORNING. THIS EVENING (11/10/2016), I (OWNER'S DAUGHTER) WENT OUT TO MOVE THE CAR AND THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM HAPPENED AGAIN. THE CAR TURNS THE STARTER OVER, BUT NOTHING ELSE HAPPENS. THE CAR HAS THE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS AS BEFORE. I (OWNER'S DAUGHTER) CALLED FORD AND WAS INFORMED THAT THERE ARE NO RECALLS ON THIS VEHICLE. THIS 2014 FORD TAURUS IS EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE -- THE CAR ONLY HAS ~50,000 MILES ON IT.

WAS RIDING IN BACK SEAT OF THIS CAR WHEN IT WAS REAR ENDED BY A 2014 JEEP CHEROKEE. TAURUS WAS STOPPED ON HIGHWAY, AND HIT SQUARELY FROM BEHIND. BOTH BACK SEAT DRIVERS WERE SEVERELY BRUISED IN LOWER BACK BY LATCH BRACKET. THE IMPACT WAS NOT EXTREME. NO AIR BAGS WERE DEPLOYED. I'D HATE TO BE IN BACK OF THAT CAR IF HIT AT FULL SPEED. IT WOULD SEEM LIKELY THAT THAT BRACKET WOULD PRODUCE SEVERE LOWER BACK/TAILBONE INJURIES IN A MAXIMUM SPEED REAR IMPACT. OF SECOND NOTE, I'M A MECHANICAL ENGINEER, I NOTED THAT THE FAILURE OF THE REAR BUMPER FRAME TUBE WAS VERY BRITTLE IN ITS FAILURE MODE. I'D HAVE THOUGHT THE METAL WOULD HAVE STRETCHED AND GIVEN MORE. IT SIMPLY FRACTURED AT THE BRACKETS TO THE FRAME AND SNAPPED IN HALF IN THE MIDDLE, ALLOWING THE TRUNK LID AND FENDERS TO TAKE THE BRUNT OF THE IMPACT.

PULLING INTO A PARKING SPOT AT A STORE MY 2014 FORD TAURUS SURGED AHEAD. THE CAR WENT ACROSS THE PARKING STOP AND CRASHED INTO THE FRONT OF THE STORE. THE FRONT OF THE CAR WAS DAMAGED AND THE FRONT OF THE STORE WAS DAMAGED. THE WEATHER WAS DRY AND ABOUT 70 DEGREES. I WAS GOING LESS THAN 5 MPH AT THE TIME THE CAR SURGED AHEAD. THIS HAPPENED IN LEAGUE CITY TEXAS AND THE POLICE DEPARTMENT CASE NUMBER IS 16-1961. I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO MCREE FORD IN DICKENSON TEXAS FOR REPAIRS.
REAR BRAKE ON DRIVERS SIDE SQUEAKING, BRAKE IS DRAGGING, CAUSING THE ROTOR AND BRAKE TO OVERHEAT. THIS CAUSES SMOKE AND ODOR. UPON INVESTIGATION IT WAS DIFFICULT TO REMOVE THE WHEEL AND THE BRAKE CALIPERS TO CHECK THE BRAKE PADS. VEHICLE HAS 27000 MILES, ONE BRAKE PAD WORN COMPLETELY DOWN IT WAS OPPOSITE OF THE CALIPER BRAKE PISTON. THE OTHER PAD APPEARED TO HAVE NORMAL WEAR. AT EACH SIDE OF THE BRAKE PAD THERE WAS BUILD UP OF BRAKE DUST AND RUST ON CALIPER. BRAKE PADS WERE REMOVED AND ONE WAS HIGHLY GLAZED AND BREAKING APART AT EDGES. THE SQUEAKING WAS BROUGHT TO FORD ATTENTION THEY STATED THE CONDITION COULD NOT DUPLICATED. THE VEHICLE SQUEAKED INTERMITTENTLY SINCE 11,000 MILES. IT HAS BEEN SQUEAKING FOR TWO YEARS.
TRAVELING AT A SPEED OF 50 / 55 MPH AND I HIT A DEER HEAD ON. THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON THE DASHBOARD BUT NEVER DEPLOYED. JUST CURIOUS TO KNOW IF THE AIR BAG SHOULD OF DEPLOYED.

UPON RETURNING FROM A SHORT 125 MILE DAY TRIP, AN UNUSUAL HOT BURNING SMELL WAS NOTICED AND AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF HEAT WAS COMING FROM UNDER THE VEHICLE. AT ONE POINT, TWO VERY LOUD/HARD METAL BANGS WERE HEARD AND THE LEFT REAR TIRE SPUN IN THE STREET FROM A DEAD STOP. IN MAY MID 2015, THE SAME PROBLEM STARTED TO OCCUR WITHIN SHORT ERRANDS AND MORE FREQUENTLY. IT APPEARED THE BRAKE ONLY ON THAT WHEEL WAS DRAGGING OR LOCKING IN POSITION ON THE ROTOR CAUSING EXCESSIVE HEAT. AN INSPECTION REVEALED THE BRAKE PADS WERE HEAT FUSED TO THE CALIPER KNUCKLE ON THE LEFT REAR WHEEL AND THE ROTOR WAS HEAT WARPED AND EXCESSIVELY WORN. THE DEALER REPLACED THE REAR BRAKE PADS, BRAKE ROTORS, CLEANED THE HEAT DAMAGED AND APPLIED A LUBRICANT IN THE SLOT OF THE ANCHOR TO PREVENT THE CALIPERS AND BRAKES FROM BINDING. *JB
NIGHT DRIVING IS UNSAFE DUE TO THE NONEXISTENCE OF PERIPHERAL LIGHTING. WHEN STOPPED AT A STOP SIGN ATTEMPTING A TURN IT IS COMPLETELY DARK, AND ONLY LIT WHEN THE CAR HAS COMPLETED THE TURN. WE CANNOT DRIVE THE CAR AFTER DARK DUE TO THIS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS CONDITION. *TR

THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE AND RIM WERE HOT TO THE TOUCH. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE WHEEL BEARING WAS LOOSE AND GRINDING, THE ROTORS FAILED, AND THE REAR BRAKE PADS FAILED, THE HUB BEARING SEIZED AND THE ABS SENSOR NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 27,500.

THE HEADLIGHTS ARE VERY LIMITED DURING NIGHT DRIVING. THERE IS A VERY DEFINED LINE BETWEEN PROJECTED LIGHT AND SURROUNDING DARKNESS. WHEN TRAVELING UP OR DOWN EVEN THE SLIGHTEST SLOPE, THE LIGHTS POINT DOWN INTO THE ROAD DIRECTLY AHEAD, GIVING NO VIEW OR REACTION TIME OF POSSIBLE OBSTACLES, PEOPLE, ANIMALS OR STALLED/PARKED CARS. THERE IS NO PERIPHERAL LIGHTING TOWARDS THE FRONT QUARTER SO WHEN A TURN ONTO AN INTERSECTING ROADWAY OR DRIVEWAY IS NECESSARY, IT IS COMPLETELY DARK AND ANY OBJECTS, PEOPLE OR ANIMALS CANNOT BE SEEN. THIS VEHICLE IS USED AS A FLEET VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS SITTING IN A PARKED DRIVEWAY AT A RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS IN PARK, AND TURNED OFF. THE VEHICLE BROKE FREE, ROLLED DOWN AN EMBANKMENT, OVER THE EDGE OF THE EMBANKMENT STRIKING THE SHOULDER OF THE ROADWAY. THIS IMPACT CAUSED SEVERE DAMAGE TO THIS VEHICLE. FORD NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE THE DURABILITY OF THE FRONT WINDSHIELD ON THE 2014 MODEL TAURUS. I OWN TWO 2014 TAURUS AND WITHIN THE FIRST 6MONTHS OF OWNERSHIP, I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE THE WINDSHIELDS ON BOTH VEHICLES. BOTH VEHS WERE HIT IN THE SAME SPOT OPPOSITE SIDES WITH A ROCK AND A CRACKED FORMED FROM ONE SIDE TO OTHER WITHIN 4HRS OF THE INCIDENT. EACH TIME WE WERE TRAVELING NO MORE THAT 40/45 MPH DUE TO MODERATE TRAFFIC. BOTH WINDSHIELDS COSTING ME $600 OUT OF POCKET. I HAVE OWNED OTHER MODEL FORD VEHICLES(07 FORD 500 AND 1998 EXPLORER) THAT HAVE WITHSTOOD PLENTY OF ROCKS AT THE WINDSHIELD AND NOT ONE CHIP OR CRACK. *TR

IT WOULD SEEM SOMEONE WOULD LOOK INTO THE PLASTIC HEAD LIGHTS ON ALL MODELS OF CARS. AFTER A FEW YEARS THE HEAD LIGHT COVERS GET COVERED WITH SOMETHING THAT SEEMS TO DIM THE HEAD LIGHTS BY 50%. THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM THAT MAY BE CAUSING NIGHT TIME ACCIDENTS. *TR
