I have owned my Jeep since 2015 and bought it brand new from the dealership. I have replaced the thermostat three times already. Yesterday, 1-21-22, I was driving home on the interstate. The thermostat stuck again, would not open, and caused it to start dumping coolant out of it while driving. That caused the belt to slip and causing me to almost get into an accident trying to pull over. This Jeep has had several issues with overheating in the almost seven years I’ve had it.
A faulty clock spring is causing the air bag light to stay on. It is also affecting the horn and steering wheel controls.
Air bag indicator began coming on intermittently. It was taken to the local dealer and was diagnosed with a faulty clock spring

I have 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 1000,15 miles on and it has the ticking noise. I took it to my independent mechanic shop. The independent mechanic diagnosed the issue and said that the tick is coming from the passenger side of the Engine .I chatted with FCA to see if they can provide any assistance on this issue they denied even if the vehicle its out of warranty therefore is has to be cover out of my pocket cost.
Appears the Jeep in order to save money has put people in a dangerous issue the vehicle has NO dash light in the day time in less you turn on the parking lights or headlights, I understand that daytime running lights are not required ( SHOULD BE A LAW )there are no daytime running lights so NO dash lights and on a over cast day you can not see the speedometer. I have looked on the Wranglers owners site and appears most jeeps do not have dash lights in the day time the instrument panel sets far enough into the dash you just can not see the instruments. This is a dangerous as you don't know your speed.
My 2015 Jeep Wrangler with 80,200 developed the well know Pentastar Tick. The Jeep would misfire at idle when slowing to a stop light. The check engine light came on and the code was a P0304. I'm the original owner and took it to the dealer I purchased it from. They diagnosed the issue and called me stating that he Jeep needs new rockers and a cam shaft on the drivers side engine bank. FCA has known about this issue since 2012. I called FCA to see if they would provide any assistance to repair the Jeep. FCA refused to acknowledge that this issue exists and refuses any assistance for owners even slightly out of warranty even though it is a manufacturing defect.
While driving on the Interstate in the city at approximately 60-65 MPH, the Jeep Wrangler steering wheel and vehicle started to shake excessively. I initially thought I had a tire blowout. I quickly slowed down and pulled over. Inspecting the vehicle I did not notice any tire issues and could not figure out why the vehicle vehemently shook. We were very scared when this happened and thought we were going to crash into another vehicle/barrier and/or vehicle was going to flip. I typically don't dive the Jeep Wrangler on the Interstate and we were extremely concerned for our safety in the vehicle after this experience. I scheduled an appointment with the dealership to inspect the vehicle. During their inspection, they quickly identified it as steering dampener and was told this is a known issue with Jeep Wranglers, but Jeep does not cover the repair. I contacted Jeep Customer Service to place a customer complaint and was also told they know many instances of this "Death Wobble" but no recall has been issued yet. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to this incident.
This vehicle's airbag clockspring was previously replaced under a safety recall in Jan 2017. The airbag light came on again, Jeep was taken to dealership because of major safety concern, airbag may not deploy when airbag light illuminated. Jeep Dealership discovered the clockspring had to be replaced again. Repair was completed by Jeep Dealership on Sept 7th 2021, receipt included. The problem was also reported to Jeep Customer Service for possible reimbursement because of previous recall, but reimbursement was denied, because replacement clockspring out of warranty.
Clockspring failed. Airbag light is on and will not deploy due to clockspring failure. This is known safety issue for Jeep. My last Jeep had to have 2 replaced. I am told there is no recall for this year of Jeep clockspring but when I look online it says that 2007-2010 vehicles and 2011-2016 right hand drive. The recall for the years 2007-2010 started as right hand drive only and ended up extending to all Jeep’s. This one should as well. Obviously they make a substandard product and someone has to die before they recall and fix it. I do not have anything to upload as my vehicle is currently at the dealership and I am told the clockspring needs to be replaced. I live in rural Kansas, the closest part is in St Louis Missouri. It will take 2 days to get arrive and THIS IS NOT UNDER RECALL BUT SHOULD BE!!!!!

Back in 2015 Jeep dealership sold me a 3rd party GPS theft tracking system. I used the website to access it out of curiosity, no problems had occurred. After the first initial month of installation, never bothered with it again. In truth of it all I had forgotten all about it until 2021 when I was running a dash am wire under the dash. The module is open and exposed to condensation. The module consisting of a small li-ion battery and a circuit board that's held on by velcro. The battery had swelled and off gassed rendering device inoperable. Who nows for how long it's been in that condition. The device is still attached with blown out battery, don't even know if GPS is still operational. I don't remember the company's website or physical address and number. But according to my purchasing forms from jeep the service is titled "MOBILE TRACE". Last time I checked if li-ion and moisture mix unsafe things can happen not to mention the inhalation of the gasses.
Anti-Brake System and traction control lights are both on. When accelerating the vehicle will limp and not want to accelerate
The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, the vehicle started to hesitate. The contact pulled over to the far right of the roadway. The contact then turned off the vehicle and while attempting to restart the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start-up. The contact had the vehicle towed to a certified mechanic who diagnosed that the starter had failed and needed to be replaced. The contact stated that while attempting to run the starter, the vehicle made a clunking sound and it was confirmed that the engine also failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 13V234000 (Steering, Power Train) as a possible solution to the failure however, the VIN nor the model year was included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and confirmed that the model year was not included. The contact was referred to the NHTSA for assistance. The approximate failure mileage was 140,823.
First, my vehicle intermittently would not allow me to scroll through the on dash menu, then the steering wheel audio controls began to do the same. Eventually, all steering wheel controls except cruise control ceased to operate including the horn. This was all just inconvenient until the horn ceased to work. Multiple times now I’ve been on the roadway while other cars have drifted into my lane with no way of making my presence known. Finally, my airbag light began intermittently coming on. Within two days, it’s now on all the time. I understand this to mean that my driver side airbag will not deploy in the case of a collision. This is a basic safety function that is not working and is due to a known manufacturer’s design flaw.
Check engine light on, OBD codes P0016, P0390, P0394. Replaced camshaft and crankshaft sensors and problem still persists; limp mode up hills, and oil loss. Per MULTIPLE Jeep Wrangler forums, this is a very wide-spread Jeep phenomenon. Dealers do not know how to fix this. Jeep needs to own up to this defect.
The driver's side airbag deployed/exploded while the car was parked and not in use. Luckily nobody was driving at the time as this could have caused serious injury or death -- imagine if a driver-side airbag went off while driving, prompting a collision with other vehicles and/or pedestrians. The car had not been driven for approximately 24 hours and had not been in any accidents or had any previous incidents. There were no warning lights previously regarding the airbag or any other issues with the car. The car has been seen by Lake Norman Jeep Chrysler (and is still there) and they did replace the passenger side airbag per a recall. They do not know the cause of the deployment. The airbag and ORC module need replacement at a cost of $2,200. The dealer said that Jeep would not cover the cost for the repairs because the driver's side airbag is not being recalled and because the car is no longer under warranty. The dealer suggested we contact Chrysler directly via their customer assistance department. Chrysler Customer Assistance Center (800-247-9753) was not interested in helping us figure this out and in fact, would not let us speak to a manager regarding this situation. They stated that the airbag costs would not be covered as the 2015 Jeep Wranger is no longer under warranty. We feel it is Jeep's responsibility to fix/pay for this defect and it should also be looked into further to see if there are many others, or if this is a standalone case. Some google searches have said some airbags have been known to explode due to heat/humidity. The temperature at the time of deployment was approximately 75 degrees. We are most disheartened by the poor response from Chrysler's Customer Assistance Center, and shocked that they would not let us speak to a manager. Unbelievable lack of concern and service.
The ABS light and Traction control light are displayed. Very common defect among Jeep Wranglers this can affect braking distance and speed control on various roads.
I have a 2015 Jeep Wrangler with the Fiat Chrysler's 3.6 liter V- 6 Pentastar engine. The Jeep has only 44,465 miles on it and now has apparent design and manufacturing defects on the engine's left side , its the Pentastar Tick. The Tick Tick Tick is very loud and the engine will shudder, its only a matter of time before the engine shuts off on the highway when I am driving causing an accident. My dealer Hollywood Chrysler Jeep estimated repairs - need left side cams and full set of rockers - oil filter housing is leaking replace - replace abs sensor - coolant flush - carbon fuel cleaning -fluids service total $6,000.07 invoice # 584685. It looks like the cylinder head, gasket, cams, lifters and rockers need to be replaced. Chrysler needs to disclose these defects. Yes my jeep is available for inspection.
The manual shifting lever for the manual transmission came loose in my hand while driving and rotated freely preventing me from shifting into the proper gear. This occurred while shifting from 1st to 2nd gear while negotiating a corner. The vehicle was unable to be shifted into gear and I ended up blocking the traffic in the intersection. Very dangerous loosing the ability to move forward in a controlled manner at an intersection. This particular intersection was a "round about". Doing a little research online I found many of the same complaints. It seems that a rubber bushing fails and results in a loss of shifting ability. Poor design!
Takata recall. The contact owns a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 19V018000 (Air Bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The local dealer and the manufacturer were made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
Air bag light is on intermittently. Running checks throughout my 2015 Jeep Wrangler, the issue resides in a faulty clockspring. After doing research it appears Chrysler/Jeep issued a recall for RHD Jeep Wranglers on faulty clockspring due to dust contamination. Looking over several Wrangler forums, the issue doesn't reside in just the RHD Jeep Wranglers, but also LHD Jeep Wranglers as well. The part is interchangeable for RHD and LHD Jeep Wranglers. I would assume more LHD Jeep Wranglers are manufactured as to the reason the recall wasn't pushed to LHD Jeep Wranglers to keep costs down.
THE HORN IS NOT WORKING AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT TURNED ON ON THE DASHBOARD WHILE IT WAS PARKED.
APOLOGIES IF THIS COMPLAINT IS A REPEAT, BUT I KEEP GETTING A SUBMISSION ERROR NOTICE WHENEVER I TRY TO SUBMIT THIS FORM. THE JEEP 4.0 LITER SIX CYLINDER ENGINE HAS A KNOWN DEFECT WITH RESPECT TO THE ROCKER ARM BEARINGS THAT CAUSES A LOUD TICKING NOISE IN THE ENGINE AND FAILURE OF THE EXHAUST AND INTAKE CAMSHAFTS. THIS HAPPENED TO OUR 2015 JEEP IN JANUARY 2020 WHEN IT HAD ONLY 31,000 MILES BUT WAS ONE MONTH OUT OF WARRANTY. CHRYSLER DID FIX IT AT THAT TIME AS A COURTESY SUBJECT TO A $100 FEE, AND A COPY OF THE INVOICE FOR THAT REPAIR IS PROVIDED. UNFORTUNATELY, A LITTLE OVER ONE YEAR LATER, AND WITH LESS THAN 10,000 MILES HAVING BEEN DRIVEN SINCE THE INITIAL REPAIR, THE SAME PROBLEM HAS REAPPEARED. THE DEALER IS NOW CLAIMING THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE REMAINING ROCKERS THAT WERE NOT REPLACED, AS IT IS CHRYSLER'S POLICY TO ONLY REPLACE THE ROCKER ARMS AND CAMSHAFTS THAT ARE DAMAGED AT THAT TIME. THE SERVICE MANAGER AT THE DEALER SAYS THAT THEY "SEE THIS ALL THE TIME" AND THAT THEY TRY TO GET ALL THE ROCKER ARMS REPLACED WHEN DOING ANY REPAIRS, BUT CHRYSLER DOES NOT ALLOW THEM TO DO SO. OF COURSE, CHRYSLER IS NOW REFUSING TO COVER THE REPAIRS, EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED THE FIRST TIME. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, AND CHRYSLER SHOULD BE FORCED TO DO A FULL RECALL OF ALL AFFECTED ENGINES AND PAY FOR ALL REQUIRED REPAIRS. THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT THIS PROBLEM ONLINE, YET CHRYSLER STILL REFUSES TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM.
CHRYSLER REFUSES TO REPLACE THE AIR BAGS AFTER SENDING ME A RECALL NOTICE. THEY SAID IT IS TO FAR AWAY.
TAKE THE VEHICLE TO SERVICE DEPARTMENT REPAIR BRAKES WHICH HAD CALIPERS LOCKED UP AND PICKED UP THE VEHICLE BUT THE BRAKES WENT TO NEAR THE FLOOR TOOK BACK THE VEHICLE AND IT IS ROMAINE THERE NOW TO FIGURE OUT THE PROBLEM TOTAL OF 1 WEEK SO FAR ALSO WHEN DRIVING HOME WITH IT VEHICLE HAD TO PUMP THE BRAKES TO GET STOPPED
OIL FILTER HOUSING OIL COOLER KIT - HAS CRACK AND LEAKING OIL NEEDS REPLACEMENT
NOTICED SIGNIFICANT KNOCKING NOISE COMING FROM ENGINE THAT CONTINUED TO GET LOUDER. TOOK TO DEALER FOR A NICE 2 THOUSAND DOLLAR FIX. DEALER REPLACED RIGHT SIDE LIFTERS, ROCKER ARMS, AND BOTH CAM SHAFTS. THIS SOUNDS WAY TOO MUCH LIKE THE 2011-2013 ISSUE THAT JEEP "FIXED" AND WAS UNDER WARRANTY FOR THOSE IT SOUNDS LIKE. VERY COINCIDENTAL AND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THESE ISSUES BASED ON JEEP FORUMS
STARTED OUT WITH OIL IN THE AIR FILTER, HAD THE PVC VALVE AND CAM SHAFT REPLACED. STILL GOT OIL SO AN OIL CATCH CAN WAS INSTALLED, THEN CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON (AIR FLOW FILTER). THIS WAS CAUSING MY ENGINE TO NOT BE ABLE TO ACCELERATE BEYOND 70 MPH. THEY CHANGED THE SENSOR, BUT AGAIN, WAS UNABLE TO GO OVER 70, AND ON AN INCLINE WOULD DROP DOWN TO 60 AND COULD GO NO FASTER (NO ENGINE LIGHT THIS TIME). NEXT DAY GOT IT UP TO 78, ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, AND AGAIN COULD NOT ACCELERATE BEYOND 75.
CEL ON SCAN FOR CODE PO302 CYLINDER 2MISFIRE. R&R SPARK PLUGS, IGNITION COIL, AIR FILTER, UPPER INTAKE GASKET & CLEAN THROTTLE BODY. PERFORM UPPER INDUCTION CLEANING. FOUND MISFIRE TO RETURN ONLY ON IDLE ON CYLINDER 2. PERFORM COMPRESSION TEST. COMPRESSION SPEC OK. REPLACED PLUGS AND COIL AGAIN. THERE IS A SLIGHT TICK FROM CYLINDER 2 VALVE TRAIN AREA. RECOMMEND GOING TO DEALER. DEALER: ENGINE DOES HAVE A SLIGHT TICK. PERFORMED A COMPRESSION TEST AND LEAK DIWN TEST. FOUND LIW COMPRESSION AND AN 80% LEAK ON THE EXHAUST SIDE OF CYLINDER 2. REMOVED THE CYLINDER HEAD AND FOUND THE EXHAUST VALVES BURNT AND EXCESSIVE PLAY IN THE VALVE GUIDES. REPLACED THE LEFT CYLINDER HEAD, ROCKER ARMS AND LIFTERS. CLEARED CODES AND ROAD TESTED VEHICLE. MISFIRE NO LONGER PRESENT. THIS IS ON A 2015 WRANGLER SAHARA UNLIMITED WITH ONLY 51,892 MILES.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 JEEP WRANGLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE OPERATING THE VEHICLE THERE WAS A ODOR OF BURNING OIL PRESENT AND SMOKE WAS SEEN COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE PLASTIC OIL COOLER HAD CRACKED CAUSING OIL TO LEAK. THE LOCAL DEALER JACKY JONES DODGE LOCATED AT 2840 US-129, CLEVELAND, GA 30528 WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE OIL COOLER PART NEEDED TO REPAIR THE FAILURE WAS ON BACK ORDER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 44,000.
OIL FILTER/COOLER HOUSING DEVELOPED A LEAK. WAS TOLD BY MECHANIC THAT IT IS MOST LIKELY CRACKED. REPLACEMENT PART IS ON INDEFINITE BACK ORDER, AT LEAST 45 DAYS. LEAK IS BAD ENOUGH THAT I CAN NOT SAFELY DRIVE THE VEHICLE. IT HAS BEEN SITTING IN THE GARAGE FOR 4 WEEKS.
OIL COOLER LEAK. I LOST OVER 2 QUARTS OF OIL AFTER A SHORT DRIVE. THE SEALS WERE ALSO LEAKING INTO THE INJECTORS CAUSING MULTIPLE CYLINDER MISFIRE CODES AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WARNINGS. NO WARNINGS FROM THE OIL COOLER EXCEPT THE LARGE PUDDLE OF OIL UNDER THE WRANGLER AND OIL COATING THE ENTIRE BACK OF THE ENGINE AND SKID PLATE.
JEEP 2014 AND OLDER ARE ISSUED A PART CALLED THE OIL COOLER/FILTER HOUSING WHICH IS PRONE TO LEAKING OIL ON ALL CHRYSLER ENGINEERS USING THIS PART. THIS IS DEFECTIVE AND OR A DESIGN FLAW RESULTING IN REPLACEMENT AND COSTLY REPAIR AND IS A REOCCURRING FAILURE ON ALL CHRYSLERS USING THIS PART. THIS FAILED ON MY JEEP WRANGLER WITH 48K MILES. THE PART IS APPROXIMATELY $300 TO REPLACE AND OVER ALL REPAIR AT A NON DEALERSHIP IS UPWARDS OF $1000.00. THIS ISSUE NEEDS TO BE A RECALL!
OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY HAS STARTED LEAKING BADLY AFTER 60,000 MILES AND IS A FIRE HAZARD. THIS ASSEMBLY IS TOO FRAGILE AND REQUIRES TAKING OFF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD TO ACCESS AND REPLACE, SO IT SHOULD NOT BE A PLASTIC PART. IT CONTAINS THE OIL FILTER WHICH CAUSES IT TO HAVE TORQUE APPLIED EVERY OIL CHANGE AND CAUSES IT TO BREAK PREMATURELY. THIS IS VERY COMMON PROBLEM AND I WAS TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THERE WERE 25,000 OF THESE ASSEMBLIES ON BACK ORDER NATIONWIDE AND HE COULD NOT TELL ME WHEN IT WOULD BE IN STOCK. MY JEEP IS NOW UNDRIVEABLE UNTIL THE BACKLOG IS WORKED THROUGH WHICH MAY TAKE MONTHS. IF THIS WAS A RARE PROBLEM I COULD GET THE PART AND HAVE IT REPAIRED. THIS PROBLEM HAS RENDERED MY VEHICLE UNUSABLE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND JEEP HAS KNOWN ABOUT THIS ISSUE FOR YEARS ON MULTIPLE YEAR MODELS. PLEASE INVESTIGATE. THERE IS NO REASON THIS COULDN'T HAVE BEEN PROPERLY ENGINEERED WITH A METAL PART.
I I WILL BE DRIVING AND THE CAR WILL GO OUT OF GEAR AND LOOSES POWER. I HAVE TO STOP , TURN IT OFF AND START AGAIN FOR IT TO WORK. THIS HAS HAPPENED 5 TIMES IN THE LAST YEAR.
I WAS DRIVING MY KEEP AND STARTED SMELLING OIL AND HAD SMOKE COMING FROM UNDER MY CAR. I NOTICE ON MY GARAGE FLOOR LARGE OIL LEAK. I PICKED UP MY DISABLED SON AND NOTICED IT HAD GOTTEN WORSE. I WAS FORCED TO STOP BY MY MECHANIC AND WAS TOLD MY OIL COOLER ADAPTOR HOUSING WAS BROKEN AND LEAKING BADLY. I HAD PURCHASED A MOPAR PROTECTION PLAN DIRECTLY FROM COMPANY. WHEN I CALLED JEEP DEALERSHIP THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO BRING IT AND LET THEM DIAGNOSE IT BEFORE THEY COULD DECIDE IF IT WAS COVERED BY MY MOPAR CARE PLAN. MY MECHANIC INFORMED ME THAT THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS JEEP ENGINE BUT THEY HAD NOT DONE RECALL YET. I CALL MOPAR AND THEY WOULD NOT AUTHORIZED PAYMENT TO MY MECHANIC UNLESS HE CALL FOR AUTHORIZATION NUMBER. HE CALLED AND THEY SAID NO. THIS PART NEEDS TO BE HANDLED BY A RECALL IF IT'S THAT BAD. I WAS READING COMPLAINTS ON ANOTHER SITE AND THEY SAID IT COULD LEAD TO A FIRE STARTING BECAUSE OF OIL LEAKING ONTO EXHAUST.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN IT RAINS THE WATER WOULD COME DOWN ON THE FLOOR MAT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE HAD TO REMOVE THE FRONT DRIVER SEAT AND PULL THE CARPET OUT TO REMOVE THE WATER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO PERFORMANCE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM GEORGESVILLE, 1130 AUTO MALL DR, COLUMBUS, OH 43228, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS ALSO TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC AND WAS INFORMED THAT HE HAD A DEFECTED ROOF PANEL AND THE DOOR WEATHER STRIPPING ALSO LEAKS. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE DEALER WANTED TO PUT A WEATHER STRIPPING ON THE ROOF. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE WATER COULD CAUSE ELECTRICAL WIRE DAMAGE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT WAS TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER AND DID NOT ASSIST. WHILE DRIVING, THE VEHICLE LOSES PROPULSION; THE RPMS GO TO ZERO FOR ABOUT 3 SECONDS AND THEN RETURN TO NORMAL AND ACCELERATION IS REGAINED. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OR CODE IS GIVEN. THIS OCCURRED RANDOMLY FOR THE LAST YEAR. IN JUNE OF 2020 I TOOK IT TO JEEP DEALER WHO WAS NOT ABLE TO REPLICATE THE PROBLEM AND SAID THAT NO CODE WAS GIVEN. THEN IN DECEMBER OF 2020 THE ISSUE BECAME WORSE TO WHERE THE VEHICLE WOULD COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN AND NOT REGAIN POWER UNLESS RESTARTED. ON ONE OCCASION IT WOULD NOT RESTART, LEAVING ME STRANDED. I TOOK IT TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO ALSO COULD NOT REPLICATE THE PROBLEM. THE INDEPENDENT MECHANIC SUGGESTED THAT THE SYMPTOMS SOUND LIKE THEY ARE RELATED TO A FUEL PUMP RELAY, BUT THAT PART IS NOT REPLACEABLE ON MY JEEP. THEY SAID THAT OTHER CHRYSLER VEHICLES HAVE HAD RECALLS FOR SIMILAR PROBLEMS, BUT NOT MY YEAR MODEL JEEP. THE PROBLEM CONTINUES TO PERSIST RANDOMLY. SOMETIMES IT HAPPENS TWICE WITHIN AN HOUR, SOMETIMES NOT AT ALL. WHEN IT HAPPENS IT'S ALWAYS IN MOTION. ON JANUARY 16TH I VIDEO RECORDED THE INCIDENT WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE THE ENTIRE THING ON VIDEO THAT I CAN SHARE WITH YOU. IN THE VIDEO YOU CAN SEE THAT I'M DRIVING AT A STEADY SPEED AT 2500 RPMS. THEN THE RPMS FLASH QUICKLY TO 3500 RPMS AND THEN INSTANTLY DROP TO ZERO, AS THOUGH THE IGNITION HAD BEEN TURNED OFF. ALTHOUGH I STILL HAVE ELECTRICAL, AS MY RADIO AND BLINKERS ARE WORKING, THE JEEP VERY QUICKLY LOSES POWER STEERING. IF I HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO QUICKLY PULL OFF THE HIGHWAY MY JEEP WOULD HAVE BEEN DEAD AND STRANDED IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY HIGHWAY. I THEN ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE JEEP, BUT IT WOULD NOT START. I WOULD TURN THE KEY JUST ONCE AND LET GO, BUT THE JEEP WOULD CONTINUE TRYING TO START OVER AND OVER FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS BEFORE STOPPING. I WAS UNABLE TO START THE JEEP UNTIL WAITING FOR A PERIOD OF ABOUT 10 MINUTES. THEN IT STARTED UP AND OPERATED NORMALLY.
I GET FREQUENT OIL CHANGES AND I NOTICED THAT THE LAST TWO OIL CHANGES IT STARTED MAKING THIS TICKING NOISE. I BROUGHT IT TO MY MECHANIC AND HE TOLD ME THAT AFTER THE NEXT FEW OIL CHANGES IT SHOULD GO AWAY. THAN MY OTHER MECHANIC THAT HEARD THIS TICKING NOISE SAID THAT IT WAS SERIOUS AND THIS HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH AN ENGINE PART CALLLED A LIFTER. I NERVOUS WHEN HE TOLD ME THAT IF IT'S NOT FIXED THE ENGINE COULD SEIZE. I JUST BOUGHT THIS JEEP FROM A DEALER NOT KNOWING THIS WAS A COMMON PROBLEM AMONG WRANGLERS. I DID MY RESEARCH AND CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MILEAGE BUT MORE SO ON HOW THE ENGINE WAS BUILT. I SPOKE TO NUMBER OF DEALERSHIPS AND THEY FIX THIS COMMON PROBLEM ON ALL AGES AND MILEAGE WRANGLERS. THE ESTIMATED COST OF REPAIR WOULD RANGE FROM $2000 AND UP. I DON'T THINK WE AS CONSUMERS OF THIS PRODUCT SHOULD BE REPAIRING AN ENGINE PROBLEM FROM CHRYSLER. I DON'T HAVE ANY PICTURES YET TIL THE DEALERSHIP OPENS UP THE ENGINE

I THOUGHT IT MAY BE DUE TO AIRBAG RECALL BUT WHEN I WENT TO MY DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THE RECALL WORK DONE, THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG ONLY BUT THAT IT COULD BE THE CLOCKSPRING BECAUSE THEY HAVE HAD SEVERAL JEEPS COME IN FOR THAT SAME ISSUE. I WAS ACTUALLY DRIVING, TRYING TO AVOID A CAR COMING INTO MY LANE WHEN I FOUND OUT I HAD NO HORN! THAT'S HOW I FOUND OUT.
THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION WILL MAKE A LOUD NOISE AND POP OUT OF GEAR. SHIFTING IS VERY BAD TOO. THE SOUND IS SO LOUD IT CAUSES MY ANXIETY TO BECOME UNBEARABLE. I HAVE TO QUICKLY PUSH IN THE CLUTCH TO ATTEMPT TO PUT IT BACK INTO GEAR TO TRY TO GET THROUGH THE INTERSECTION. LUCKILY I HAVEN'T BEEN HIT BY AN ONCOMING VEHICLE, BUT WHEN YOU LOSE ALL POWER TRYING TO TURN LEFT IT IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. I REACHED OUT TO A COUPLE OF DEALERS, BUT THEY CLAIM TO NOT BE AWARE OF THE SITUATION. MY CAR IS AS 54090 MILES, DEALERSHIP CHANGED HOUSING THERMOSTAT AND REPLACED THE THERMOSTAT HOUSING ADAPTOR. STATED MY CAR HAS INTERNAL ENGINE NOISE FROM WORN ROCKERS AND LIFTERS. WAS SAFE TO DRIVE. GOT A SECOND OPTION, MY CAR HAS ROCKER NOISE COMING FROM THE RIGHT BANK AND CAN WEAR. ALSO SOME CYLINDER HEADS HAD TO BE REPLACED. THIS WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE 2012 AND 2013 MODELS SO CHRYSLER SHOULD BE TAKING THESE ISSUES SERIOUSLY AND EXTENDED AND RECALLING ALL 2015 JEEPS TO DO A MAINTENANCE CHECK. I WAS TOLD UPON MY INDEPENDENT REVIEW NOT TO DRIVE MY CAR, TO GET IT HOME SAFE AND SLOW. I HAVE REPORTED THE DEALERSHIP TO THE BBB AND FILED A CLAIM WITH CHRYSLER. THIS NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY.
WHEN THE 4 DOORS ARE REMOVED AND THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION IS UNPLUGGED THE BATTERY WILL DRAIN OVER NIGHT TO 5.6 VOLTS, JEEP WILL NOT START. CHARGE BATTERY TO 12.6 VOLTS DOORS ARE STILL OFF BATTERY WILL DIE AGAIN. PUTTING THE DOORS BACK ON BATTERY IS GOOD WITH NO PROBLEMS. BATTERY DIES TO A NO START CONDITION ONLY WHEN DOORS ARE REMOVED. THIS IS WHILE PARKED IN A GARAGE, KEY OUT VEHICLE OFF WITH NO DOORS ATTACHED BATTERY DIES, BATTERY HAS CHECKED GOOD SEVERAL TIMES. IT IS NOT THE BATTERY.
ON TWO OCCASIONS, WHEN PASSING ANOTHER VEHICLE, THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL WAS DEPRESSED FULLY AND DID NOT DISENGAGE. THE PEDAL RETURNED TO THE DISENGAGED POSITION, BUT THE THROTTLE DID NOT. THIS HAPPENED IN BETWEEN SHIFTS OF THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION. TAPPING ON THE THROTTLE DID NOT RESOLVE THE CONDITION. I HAD TO KEEP THE CLUTCH DEPRESSED CAUSING REDLINE RPMS. THE IGNITION HAD TO BE TURNED OFF WHILE DRIVING. WHEN THE IGNITION WAS TURNED BACK ON, THE THROTTLE RETURNED TO NORMAL. THIS HAPPENED WHILE IN MOTION ON THE HIGHWAY.

THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN PREVIOUSLY TO THE SAME DEALER FOR THE SAME FAILURE HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC FAILED TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 42,222.*DT THE CONSUMER STATED THAT CHRYSLER RESPONDED REPAIRS WOULD TOTAL $3000 OF WHICH THE CONSUMER IS RESPONISBLE FOR HALF OF THE REPAIRS. I WAS STOPPED IN A TURN LANE WAITING FOR THE TRAFFIC LIGHT TO CHANGE WHEN I WAS IMPACTED BY ANOTHER DRIVER AT APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH. THE DRIVE DROVE DIRECTLY INTO THE FRONT OF MY JEEP AS IF SHE WAS AIMING FOR IT. DESPITE MY FOOT BEING ON THE BRAKE MY JEEP WAS PUSHED IN REVERSE AT LEAST 50 FT DUE TO THE FORCEFUL IMPACT. NEITHER VEHICLES WERE DRIVABLE DUE TO THE FRONTEND DAMAGE. THANKFULLY, I WAS WEARING MY SEATBELT BECAUSE MY AIRS DIDN'T NOT DEPLOY AS EXPECTED IN A FRONTEND COLLISION.

A YEAR LATER I HIT A SMALL BUMP IN A CONSTRUCTION AREA ON THE HIGHWAY, THE SAME VIOLENT SHAKING HAPPENED. I WAS IN A CONSTRUCTION ZONE NEXT TO A DIESEL TRUCK WITH CONCERT BARRIER ON BOTH SIDES.I HAD A HARD TIME KEEPING CONTROL OF MY JEEP. THE DEATH WOBBLE IS A VERY DANGEROUS PROBLEM. IT HAS BEEN SAID THAT JEEP HAS COME UP WITH A BAND-AID FIX. WELL AFTER TAKING MY JEEP TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WITH ONLY 40,000 MILES ON MY JEEP(MY JEEP NOW OUT OF WARRANTY, I HAD AN EXTENDED WARRANTY) AND IT COST ME OVER 3,055.45 FOR THEM TO FIX THE DEATH WOBBLE. I DO HAVE AN INVOICE FOR THE CHARGES IT IS NOT ON ME AT THIS TIME.
KNOWN ISSUE WITH JEEP WRANGLERS SINCE 2012- OIL PRESSURE SENSOR BECOMES FAULTY PREMATURELY CAUSING THE ENGINE LIGHT TO TURN ON. IN RESULT, IN THE EVENT OF THE OIL SYSTEM FAILING, THE ENGINE WILL FAIL WITHOUT WARNING. THE PART IS PLACED IN A POOR LOCATION WITH THESE VEHICLES ENGINES.

BOTH TIMES TOWED BACK TO DEALERSHIP, BOTH TIMES UNDER WARRANTY. FIRST TIME I WAS TOLD A BROKEN VALVE SPRING AND VALVE COVER HAD LEAKED OIL INTO IGNITION SYSTEM. VALVE SPRING/COVER WORK COVERED, TUNE UP AND REDOING IGNITION SYSTEM NOT...? WAS TOLD TO CONTACT MANUFACTURER, THEY TOLD ME TO CONTACT DEALER. THIS TIME(2/2020) TOWED IN, TOOK SIX DAYS TO BE TOLD BROKEN VALVE SPRING/VALVE COVER BUT ALSO A DEFECTIVE CYLINDER HEAD. ALSO TOLD CYLINDER HEAD ON BACK ORDER, COULD BE MONTHS. VEHICLE IS MAINTAINED ACCORDING TO MANUFACTURERS SCHEDULES, DON'T DO TRACTOR PULLING WITH IT, THIS APPEARS TO BE A KNOWN DEFECTIVE, JUST LIKE THE BAD RADIATORS OR HEATING SYSTEM GOOPED UP WITH SAND. HAD DIAGNOSTIC AND MECHANIC FOUND 2 ROCKER ARMS WERE BAD . THANKFULLY CAMS WITHOUT DAMAGE PER MECHANIC LIKELY DUE TO SEEKING REPAIRS SO QUICKLY
I WAS DRIVING ON A PAVED ROAD AND NEEDED TO STEP ON THE BRAKES TO AVOID STRIKING A VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. MY ABS BREAKS FAILED TO WORK AND I HAD TO SWERVE TO AVOID STRIKING THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF ME. IMMEDIATELY AFTER THIS INCIDENT MY ABS LIGHT AND SLIP LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON MY DASH BOARD AND REMAINED ON. I HAVE THE NEXT AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT ON THE 19TH OF FEBRUARY AT FIELDS JEEP IN GLENVIEW AND I AM UNABLE TO DRIVE THIS UNSAFE VEHICLE UNTIL IT IS REPAIRED. NOT ASKING JEEP TO REPAIR ENGINE WITH EXCESSIVE MILEAGE OR WEAR - I AM ASKING JEEP TO EXTEND SAME COVERAGE AS 2011-2013 BECAUSE JEEP HAS NOT CORRECTED THE PROBLEM. THIS VEHICLE WAS BEING REPAIRED AT OUR SHOP AND WHEN OUR TECHNICIAN WAS COMPLETED WITH REPAIRS HE WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE DOWN TO BE CLEANED UP. ONCE HE STARTED BACKING UP INTO A PARKING SPOT THE DRIVERS AIRBAG BLEW AND HIT HIM IN THE ARM AND LEFT A HUGE BRUISE.
LAST FRIDAY AFTERNOON (12/13/19) I HAD A SIGNIFICANT BRAKE MALFUNCTION WHERE I BELIEVE THE ABS SYSTEM FALSELY THOUGHT A WHEEL WAS LOCKED UP AND RELEASED THE BRAKES OR MADE THEM MUCH LESS EFFECTIVE DURING A NORMAL STOP (MY INTERPRETATION OF WHAT HAPPENED ' ESPECIALLY AFTER SOME ONLINE RESEARCH). I WAS TRAVELLING AT APPROX. 45 MPH AND THE LIGHT AHEAD TURNED YELLOW AND I PRESSED THE BRAKES TO STOP. THE BRAKES WERE INEFFECTIVE, AND I REALIZED I WAS NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO STOP IN TIME BEFORE ENTERING THE INTERSECTION. I DECIDED TO RUN THE LIGHT AND PULL OVER ON THE SHOULDER IMMEDIATELY. I THEN PROCEEDED TO DRIVE AGAIN IN A SLOW FASHION AND APPLY THE BRAKES. I HAD THE SAME INEFFECTIVE RESPONSE. I TRIED A THIRD TIME WITH THE SAME RESULTS. I BELIEVE THE ABS WAS BEING ENGAGED FALSELY. I WAS ALONE IN THE VEHICLE AND NO CARS WERE IN FRONT OF ME. I AM CERTAIN THAT IF I WAS ON A CROWDED MAJOR HIGHWAY AND I WAS HAD TO STOP I WOULD HAVE CRASHED ' UNNECESSARILY BECAUSE THERE WAS NO NEED FOR THE ABS TO ENGAGE. THE ABOVE INCIDENT OCCURRED APPROX. 3 HOURS AWAY FROM MY HOUSE IN THE VICINITY OF DAVENPORT. I BROUGHT THE JEEP TO POSNER JEEP WHO CHECKED THE VEHICLE AND RE-INITIALIZED THE ABS AND SAID THEY DIDN'T FIND ANY PROBLEM. I BOUGHT THE JEEP IN 2015 FROM ARRIGO DODGE IN TAMARAC AND HAVE HAD SEVERAL ISSUES WITH THE ABS SYSTEM AND SENSORS. I STRONGLY FEEL THAT THE ISSUE CAN HAPPEN AGAIN AND CAN CAUSE ACCIDENTS AND POSSIBLY DEATHS IF NOT DEALT WITH APPROPRIATELY.
I OWN A 2015 JEEP WRANGLER. IN MID-2019 I NOTICED THE HEATING SYSTEM WAS NOT OPERATING WELL. FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN I TURNED THE HEAT ON, IT WOULD INTERMITTENTLY SEND WARM AND THEN COOL AIR OUT OF THE BLOWERS. ONE 38 DEGREE DAY, IT SENT OUT NO HEAT AT ALL. IN OCTOBER 2019, THE ANTI-FREEZE FLUID LEVEL WAS LOW AND IT WAS FILLED. IN DEC 2019, THE ENTIRE RESERVE TANK WAS EMPTY. NO FLUID WAS VISIBLE IN THE RADIATOR WHEN THE RADIATOR CAP WAS REMOVED. I HAVE OBSERVED WHEN THE CAR HAS BEEN DRIVEN FOR 3-5 MILES AND THEN TURNED OFF, THERE IS A SLIGHT ODOR OF ANTI-FREEZE. IT APPEARS MY VEHICLE MAY HAVE A DEFECTIVE HEATER CORE.

AFTER HITTING BACK TRAILER WHEEL OF TRUCK AND JEEP RAISING BACK END OFF GROUND FROM IMPACT ACCELERATION STOPPED AND ENGINE IDLED.SUDDEN UNINTENDED ACCELERATION. MANUFACTURER DEFECT. ACCIDENT STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION BY INSURANCE COMPANY. JEEP TOWED TO BODY SHOP.

THE DEALERSHIP INVESTIGATED AND SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE ISSUE. AT 20,500 MILES THE VEHICLE WAS RUNNING POORLY AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. THE DEALERSHIP SAID A FUEL INJECTOR HAD GONE BAD AND THEY ALSO FOUND 3 BAD ENGINE ROCKER ARMS. THE ROCKER ARMS WERE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY. INCIDENTALLY, THE ISSUE WITH THE BLUE SMOKE FROM THE EXHAUST DISAPPEARED. AT 28,000 MILES THE ENGINE WAS BEGINNING TO DEVELOP AN AUDIBLE TICKING NOISE. THE DEALERSHIP INVESTIGATED AND THIS TIME REPLACED 4 BAD ROCKER ARMS. AT LEAST 1 OF THE ROCKER ARMS WAS THE SAME ONE (#1 INTAKE) THAT HAD BEEN REPLACED DURING THE PRIOR SERVICING.

VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE AND BURNED TO A TOTAL LOSS, CLAIM WITH JEEP WAS CLOSED WITHOUT RESOLVE, REQUESTED INFORMATION FROM THE INVESTIGATION AND RECEIVED NOTHING , AFTER SEVERAL CALLS AND NOTES BEING PUT ON THE ACCOUNT NOTHING WAS RESOLVED AND MY CASE WAS CLOSED AGAINST MY WILL AND NOW THEY WONT DO ANYTHING. VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE TRAVELING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH AND UPON PULLING OVER FOUND A FIRE IN THE FRONT PASSENGER FENDER AREA, ATTEMPTED TO EXTINGUISH FIRE WITHOUT SUCCESS AND JEEP BURNED TO THE GROUND
I HAVE A 2015 JEEP RUBICON PURCHASED NEW FROM DEALER WITH OEM PARTS INCLUDING FACTORY TIRES. IT WAS ALWAYS A HARDER DRIVE BUT AFTER HITTING 14000 MILES THE TIRES STARTED THUMPING AROUND 40 MILES AN HOUR AND CONTINUED TO GET WORSE, ALONG WITH WOBBLING, SHAKING AND SLIPPING OVER BUMPS. I WAS TOLD THE TIRES NEEDED TO BE ROTATED EVERY 5000 MILES. I HAD THEM ROTATED BUT IT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. I TOOK IT IN AGAIN AS WELL AS TO A LOCAL MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC SAID IT WAS THE TIRES BUT THERE WAS ALSO SOME ISSUES WITH THE BEARINGS. ALL THIS AT 14000 MILES. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A VEHICLE LESS THAN A YEAR OLD AND A PRICE TAG OF 42,000 DOLLARS. EVEN THOUGH THE TIRES HAD A LIFETIME WARRANTY THE UNEVEN TREAD AND WEAR WAS NOT COVERED. I ENDED UP HAVING A TO BUY A NEW TIRE AND TAKE THE SPARE SO THAT THE FRONT TIRES WITH THE MOST UNEVEN TREAD WERE REPLACED, AT MY EXPENSE. AFTER I WAS TOLD IF I KEEP THE TIRES ROTATED EVERYTIME I GET AN OIL CHANGE I WOULD BE FINE. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE. EVERY TIME I WENT OVER A BUMPY AREA ON THE FREEWAY I WOULD LOSE TRACTION AND WOBBLE. THE ISSUE HAS BEEN CONSTANT AND THE SHAKING AND WOBBLING HAS GOTTEN SO BAD I CANT DRIVE MY JEEP WITHOUT IT TURNING MILK INTO CREAM. I TOOK IT IN FOR MAINTENANCE AT THE JEEP DEALERSHIP, HAD THE TIRES ROTATED AND IT WAS WORSE THAN BEFORE. I TOOK IT BACK, EXPLAINED IN DETAIL AND WAS TOLD LOTS OF CUSTOMERS HAVE EXPRESSED THE SAME ISSUE BUT THAT THE JEEP RUBICON IS NOT MEANT FOR FREEWAY DRIVING THE TIRES ARE FOR MUD, THAT I SHOULD GET NEW TIRES AND JUST DEAL WITH IT, OR SELL IT. IS THAT AN ACCEPTABLE WAY TO STAND BEHIND A PRODUCT? OR AN ACCEPTABLE WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMER? THE VEHICLE HAS A DEFECT. TIRES THAT COME WITH A 50,000 MILE WARRANTY SHOULD LAST LONGER THAN 14000. SHAKING, WOBBLING, AND VIBRATING AND UNEVEN TIRE TREAD IN A VEHICLE IS NOT NORMAL. THE VEHICLE IS A LEMON AND A BUYBACK SHOULD BE IN EFFECT.

I WAS PREGNANT AT THE TIME, SO I FREQUENTLY CALLED AS I WAS GOING TO BE PUTTING A NEW BORN IN MY VEHICLE. WENDY THEN TOLD ME THAT THE REPLACEMENT FOR THE RECALL HAS BEEN RECALLED. I HAVE NOT BEEN FORMALLY INFORMED OF THE RECALL OF THE RECALL. I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING MY CAR WITH A NEWBORN OR IN GENERAL.
STABILITY CONTROL GOES OUT AT 70+ MPH OVER ANY DEVIATION IN THE ROAD SURFACE AND NOT JUST A MAJOR BUMP. I LOSE CONTROL OF THE JEEP COMPLETELY AND HAVE TO TAKE MY FOOT OF THE GAS AND THEN IT WILL RIGHT ITSELF. THIS IS A THREAT TO LIFE AND SAFETY AND FOR A FOUR YEAR VEHICLE SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING. ALSO, ALL THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WENT OUT AND THE FUEL GAUGE GOES DOWN AND UP RANDOMLY, THE STABILITY CONTROL LIGHTS COME ON AND OFF WHICH TERRIFY ME AND I AM SHAKEN TO THE CORE AS I DON'T WANT TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE AS I HAVE FOR THE PAST WEEKS AT 3 OR 4 TIMES A WEEK ON AVERAGE! THE SPEEDOMETER GOES DOWN TO 5 MPH THEN BACK UP TO 66MPH THEN BACK DOWN AND MY HEADLIGHT LAMPS FLICKERED ON AND OFF ALL AT THE SAME TIME. ALL FUSES ARE INTACT AND SECURE. WHEN THE JEEP WARMS UP AND THE SUSPENSION CYCLES YOU CAN FEEL A THUD IIN THE STEERING COLUMN SOMEWHERE. IT MAKES YOU FEEL VERY UNEASY AND SCARED NOT KNOWING WHEN THE STEERINT SHAFT WILL FINALLY GO. MOST PROBLEMS RESULT FROM THE LOWER AND UPPER INTERMEDIATE SHAFT BEING MADE FROM 2 SEPARATE METALS AND EXPANDING. JEEP LOCATED THESE NEAR THE MANIFOLD. THE REPLACEMENT PART IS ALWAYS ON BACKORDER SO JEEP MUST KNOW THERE'S ANPROBLEM SOMEWHERE.

THERE IS A SWITCH ON THE DASH TO LOCK AND UNLOCK THE SWAY BAR AND A LIGHT ON THE DASH THAT SAYS THAT THE SWAY BAR IS UNLOCKED, THE LIGHT IS NOT ON BUT THE SWAY BAR IS UNLOCKED AND THE JEEP IS VERY UNSTABLE WHEN TRYING TO DRIVE ON THE HIGHWAY AND EVEN THE STREET IT VERY BOUNCY AND WHEN TURNING A COUNTER AT A NORMAL RATE OF SPEED THE TIRES COME OFF THE GROUND. THE SWAY BAR WILL NOT LOCK NO MATTER WHAT WE DO IT JUST COMES UNLOCKED AS SOON AS I START DRIVING. IT IS VERY UNSAFE. ON THE DAY OF THE INCIDENT, MY HUSBAND DROVE APPROXIMATELY 5-6 MILES TO CLASS (AS HE IS IN A TECHNICAL SCHOOL RIGHT NOW) AROUND 6:30 AM. AS HE WAS COMING HOME, IT STARTED SMOKING ABOUT HALF WAY UP THE ON RAMP HEADING IN THE DIRECTION TO THE EXIT TO OUR HOME, MY HUSBAND SAID RIGHT BEFORE IT STARTED SMOKING IT ALMOST SOUND LIKE THAT BLOWER MOTOR WAS MAKING A STRANGE NOISE, AND HE WAS HEADED HOME TO LOOK AT IT, BUT THE NOISE QUIT RIGHT BEFORE IT STARTED SMOKING. HE DID HIS BEST TO GET IT OUT OF TRAFFIC, BUT AS I STATED, WITH IT BEING A SOFT TOP, IT WENT UP IN FLAMES RATHER QUICK. THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED EVERY 4,000-5,000 MILES. MY HUSBAND HAS A MOTORCYCLE, SO THE TIME SPENT IN THE JEEP WAS MAINLY IN COOLER WEATHER OR WHEN IT WAS RAINING/OVERCAST. THERE WERE NOT ISSUE LEADING UP TO THE FIRE. WE HAD TAKEN IT ON SHORT TRIPS - LONGEST DISTANCE WAS LIKE 100 MILES ROUND TRIP, BUT HADN'T DONE THAT IN AWHILE. THE VEHICLE WAS A TOTAL LOSS, STATE FARM TOTALED THE VEHICLE, WE HAVE NOT HAD POSSESSION OF THE JEEP SINCE IT WAS TOWED FROM THE SIDE OF THE ROAD BY WHOEVER THE FIRE DEPT CALLED (ALLIED TOWING). AFTER THAT INSURANCE HAD IT TOWED TO A LOCATION OF THEIR OWN. I BELIEVE MY HUSBAND ONLY HAD A SUB WOOFER IN THE JEEP, YOU CAN SEE IT IN THE BACK IN SOME OF THE PICTURES. I BELIEVE AT SOME POINT THE STEREO WAS CHANGED BUT THAT WAS BEFORE WE OWNED IT AND IT WAS IN OUR POSSESSION FOR ALMOST 1 YEAR PRIOR TO THE FIRE. I HAVE NO CONTACTED THE FCA, I WASN'T SURE WHO TO REACH OUT TO FOR THIS ISSUE.*JB

AND THEN A COMBUSTION OF FLAMES CAME FROM WHEEL WELLS AND HOOD OF JEEP. WE ALL JUMPED OUT AND CALLED 911 AND TRIED TO PUT FIRE OF JEEP OUT WITH EXTINGUISHERS. WITH NO SUCCESS. FIRE DEPARTMENT PUT FIRE OUT.

I HAVE TAKEN THIS CAR TO A ALAMOGORDO, NEW MEXICO DEALER AND GALVESTON , TEXAS DEALER TO HAVE THE PROBLEM INVESTIGATED. THEY TOLD ME THIS WAS NORMAL. THIS OCCURRED SINCE THE CAR WAS NEW AND CONTINUES TODAY AT 45,000 MILES. I AM CONCERNED SOMETHING IS FAULTY WITH THE HORN AND AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

ALL THESE LIGHTS CAME ON AND THE BRAKES STARTED LOCKING UP WHILE GOING 50-60 MPH. THIS IS GOING TO CAUSE AN ACCIDENT AND NOW I HAVE TO GET MY JEEP TOWED BECAUSE IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO GO.

DISTRACTING GRIND AND SEVERE GEARSHIFT VIBRATION DURING THE 1ST GEAR TO 2ND GEAR UP SHIFT. IT APPEARS AS THOUGH THE GEAR SHIFT LEVER WILL VIOLENTLY COME OFF. THE GRINDING IS EXTREMELY DISTRACTING TO THE DRIVER AS GEARS MOVING AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS COME VIOLENTLY TO STOP AS OPPOSED SMOOTHLY MESHING TOGETHER. THE SHIFTING OPERATION PRODUCES A SENSATION THAT REVERBERATES UP THE HAND AND ARM CAUSING A DISTRACTING JOLT TO THE DRIVER. AT THIS TIME, ALL THE OTHER UP SHIFTS ARE NORMAL, MAKING THE 1ST TO 2ND GEAR UP SHIFT ASYMMETRICALLY DIFFERENT THAN ALL THE OTHER UP SHIFTS. MY 2015 JEEP WRANGLER WITH LESS THAN 36,000 MILES (CURRENT MILEAGE IS 31,000) DEVELOPED A HOLE IN THE UPPER RIGHT (FACING THE VEHICLE) ON THE RADIATOR. ONLY FACTORY AUTHORIZED ANTIFREEZE WAS IN THE COOLING SYSTEM. IN FACT, THE COOLANT HAD NEVER BEEN TOUCHED SINCE PURCHASING IT NEW APRIL 17TH, 2015. THIS PAST FALL I KNEW I HAD A LEAK AND TOOK IT TO THE DEALER. THEY SAID IT WAS LEAKING OIL AROUND MY OIL FILTER AND ENDED UP CHARGING ME $46.00 FOR AN OIL CHANGE; HOWEVER, THE MECHANIC (PETE) COULD NOT EXPLAIN THE LEAK. I FELT THE FLUID ON MY GARAGE FLOOR WITH MY FINGERS AND HONESTLY THOUGHT IS WAS PART OIL AND ANTIFREEZE. NOW, ON WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 26, 2018 THEY ARE GOING TO REPLACE THE RADIATOR AND THE DEALER'S ESTIMATE WAS APPROXIMATELY $800.00 DOLLARS. IN SHORT, NO RADIATOR SHOULD BLOW A HOLE IN THE SIDEWALL OF THE RADIATOR WITH SO FEW MILES AND TIME.

I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING THE "DEATH WOBBLE" THE FIRST TIME WHEN IT WAS ONLY A YEAR OLD WITH 10,000 MILES. IT WAS BRIEF AND I ATTRIBUTED THE ISSUE TO ROAD CONDITIONS. I RECENTLY EXPERIENCED IT AGAIN AT 39,000 MILES - IT WAS SO SEVERE, AND VIOLENT, SHAKING THE ENTIRE VEHICLE- IT WAS EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. I MADE AN APPOINTMENT AT THE DEALERSHIP. THE DIAGNOSIS WAS A CRACKED DRAG LINK ASSEMBLY, NEED FRONT STABILIZER SHOCKS, AND REAR SHOCKS. ON TOP OF THAT THEY SAID THERE IS A CRACK IN THE RADIATOR, BELIEVED TO BE FROM THE VIOLENT SHAKING. IT'S NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY, WITH ONLY 39,000 MILES - 3,000 MILES OVER AND THEY WON'T DO ANYTHING. I HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME CUSTOMER AT PLANET JEEP IN FLAGSTAFF, AZ. THIS HAS BEEN A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AND WON'T RECOMMEND.
INTERMITTENT STALLING HAS OCCURRED 4 TIMES WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION DRIVING STRAIGHT. 3 TIMES OCCURRED ON CITY STREETS AND 1 OF THE 4 TIMES WAS WHILE MERGING INTO TRAFFIC ON AN INTERSTATE AT INTERSTATE SPEEDS. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED 3 TIMES AFTER STOPPING AND PLACING THE VEHICLE INTO PARK AND CRANKING FOR ABOUT 5-10 SECONDS. THE LAST TIME, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT RESTART IMMEDIATELY AND TOOK AROUND 2 HOURS TO RESTART. THERE WAS NO WARNING PRIOR TO EACH TIME, NO STUTTERING, ROUGH IDLE, ACCELERATION, DECELERATIONS, ETC. THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAID DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE REPORTED CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR FAILURE, BUT TESTING COULD FIND NO ISSUES EACH TIME. SERVICE MANAGER REQUESTED THAT THE VEHICLE BE LEFT INDEFINITELY FOR THEM TO TEST DRIVE UNTIL THE CONDITION COULD BE WITNESSED BY TECHNICIAN.

DROVE IT THANKSGIVING DAY AND TOOK IT TO A DEALER ON FRIDAY WITH THE CODE P0304. MECHANIC TELLS ME THAT IT NEEDS A NEW CYLINDER HEAD AND IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE BACK HOME 1018 MILES. I LEARNED LATER THAT THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND JEEP ISSUED A LIFETIME WARRANTY COVERING UP TO 2013. AFTER MUCH RESEARCH AND READING, THE ISSUE STILL CONTINUES THROUGH THE 2016 MODELS. I CALLED JEEP TO ASK FOR SOME ASSISTANCE SINCE I AM 1018 MILES FROM HOME AND HAVING TO STAY IN A HOTEL FOR 10 DAYS WITH NO LOANER OR RENTAL CAR AND THE REPAIRS ARE ESTIMATED AT $4850 (THE COST AT HOME IN TEXAS WOULD HAVE BEEN $2600) AND CHRYSLER SAID NO! I THEN ASKED IF THEY HAD THE PART AVAILABLE, GUESS WHAT THEY SAID?? OF COURSE, THEY DON'T HAVE ANY DUE TO NATIONAL BACKORDER. THIS IS A COMMON AND KNOWN ISSUE AT THE DEALERSHIP AND ON THE FORUMS, HOWEVER JEEP WILL ONLY REPLACE THE UNIT WHILE UNDER WARRANTY, REGARDLESS OF HOW NEW THE VEHICLE IS. I HAVE CONTACTED JEEP AND CHRYSLER DIRECTLY AND THEY SAID BECAUSE OF THE MILES THEY WILL NOT HONOR ANY REQUESTS, REGARDLESS IF IT BY MANUFACTURER FAULT OR NOT.

MY JEEP CAUGHT FIRE WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY DUE TO A RUPTURED FUEL LINE SPEWING FUEL ONTO THE NEARBY PASSENGER SIDE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. BECAUSE I HAVE OVER 43,000 MILES ON THE JEEP THEY SAY IT WILL BE AT MY EXPENSE. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE THROUGH JEEP CUSTOMER CARE. IT HAS BEEN DISCUSSED ON JEEP OWNER FORUMS FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS. I PURCHASED THE JEEP WITH THE NAVIGATION SYSTEM SO THAT MY WIFE COULD FIND HER WAY WHEN SHE TRAVELED. THE JEEP IS ON 27 MONTHS OLD AND THIS IS NOT A "MOVING" PART THAT DEVELOPS WEAR FROM USE. SO ISSUES WAS THOUGHT TO TAKEN TILL RESERVOIR WAS FOUND LOW AGAIN AT AROUND 36,000 MILES STILL NO SIGNS OF LEAKS, AND RESERVOIR WAS TOP OFF. CONTINUED TO MONITOR WITH NO SIGNS OF LEAKS UNTIL THE SMELL OF ANTIFREEZE BEGAN TO GET STRONGER AND MORE FREQUENT WHEN VEHICLE WAS WARM. THE TIRES WERE INTACT WITH NO VISIBLE ISSUES. WHEN I STARTED BACK UP THE WHEELS WERE NO LONGER DOING THE WOBBLING. I DID READ AND FOUND "THE "DEATH WOBBLE" IS A CREATIVE TERM COINED BY JEEP OWNERS THAT DESCRIBES A SITUATION WHEN THE FRONT AXLE BEGINS VIOLENTLY OSCILLATING, CAUSING THE CAR TO SHAKE (OR WOBBLE) IN A MANNER WHICH MAKES THE VEHICLE HARD TO CONTROL". I DROVE TO THE DEALERSHIP AND EXPLAINED THE ISSUE AND TOLD THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WORKER IT WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AND IT NEEDED FIXED. I DO HAVE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULD NOT FIX IT AND IT WOULD TAKE 2 TO 3 WEEKS BEFORE I COULD GET A APPOINTMENT. I WAS VERY UPSET KNOWING IT WAS NOT SAFE BUT HAD NO CHOICE TO MAKE THE EARLIEST APPOINTMENT 2 WEEKS OUT. WHEN THE VEHICLE IS UNDER ACCELERATION THE BRAKES WILL LOCK-UP CAUSING AN ABRUPT STOP. THE VEHICLE THEN HAS NO ACCELERATION POWER AT THE BRAKES ARE BEING APPLIED WITH NO INPUT FROM THE DRIVER. BASICALLY THE ABS IS ENGAGING BRAKES WITHOUT PRESSURE APPLIED TO THE BRAKE PEDAL. IT IS LIKELY AND HIGHLY PROBABLY THAT THIS WILL CAUSE A FATAL OR NEAR FATAL REAR END COLLISION. I WAS DRIVING ON THE 91 FREEWAY EASTBOUND IN CALIFORNIA. SOMEBODY WAVE ME TO STOP. THE CAR GOT ON FIRE WHILE DRIVING. I PUSHED THE THE BRAKE PEDAL TO SLOW DOWN. THE VEHICLE DID NOT RESPOND, THE JEEP DID NOT SLOW DOWN. THE JEEP CONTINUED TRAVELING STRAIGHT. I PUSHED THE BRAKE PEDAL AT LEAST TWO MORE TIMES, DOWN TO THE FLOOR. THE BRAKES DID NOT RESPOND. THERE WAS A VERY LOUD "GRINDING" NOISE COMING FROM THE JEEP WHEN I APPLIED THE BRAKE PEDAL. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED INTO THE INTERSECTION WHERE IT CAME TO A STOP. THE BRAKES DID NOT SLOW THIS VEHICLE DOWN, THE BRAKES DID NOT WORK! THERE WAS NO CONTROL OF THIS VEHICLE'S SPEED. DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPT. CHECKED OUT THIS JEEP THE NEXT DAY & FOUND NO PROBLEM WITH THIS JEEP & COULD NOT DUPLICATE CONCERN. WHEN I LATER DROVE THE JEEP HOME, THE ABS LIGHT CAME ON. FCA, CHRYSLER CUSTOMER CARE WAS NOTIFIED. CHRYSLER ASSIGNED A CASE NUMBER & CASE MANAGER. THE CASE MANAGER INFORMED ME THAT SHE CALLED THE SERVICE/DEALERSHIP (WHO SERVICED THE JEEP THE DAY AFTER THE EVENT) AND SHE WAS TOLD BY THE SERVICE MGR. "JEEP IS OPERATING PERFECTLY & IS UP TO MY SATISFACTION". I INFORMED CHRYSLER, VIA PHONE & EMAIL, THAT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE AT ALL! I SENT CHRYSLER A WRITTEN, DETAILED REPORT OF EXACTLY WHAT OCCURRED WITH THIS VEHICLE. I ALSO STATED THAT THIS INCIDENT COULD HAVE ENDED VERY DIFFERENTLY, WITH INJURIES AND OR DEATH! I NEVER HEARD FROM CHRYSLER AGAIN. AS OF TODAY, CHRYSLER HAS NOT RETURNED ANY OF MY PHONE MESSAGES.
FUEL BLOW BACK WHEN FILLING IT, AT VARIOUS GAS STATIONS. NOT ABLE TO FILL AT NORMAL RATE. I HEAR FROM MANY PEOPLE THAT THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH JEEPS. IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE. IT COULD BE THEIR BALL IN CAGE FILTER DESIGN, OR O RING GASKETS.
2015 JEEP WRANGLER SAFARI RIGHT REAR SIGNAL LIGHT WORK INTERMITTINGLY. VERIFIED THAT NOT POWER IS BEING TRANSMITTED TO THE RIGHT REAR SIGNAL LIGHT FROM THE TIPM. JEEP WILL NOT WARRANTY BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T INSTALL THE AFTER MARKET TOWING WIRING KIT. THE KIT WAS INSTALLED WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS NEW AND THE PROBLEM FIRST STARTED AFTER THE VEHICLE HAD OVER 13,000 MILES. AT THE TIME THE PROBLEM WAS VERY INTERMITTING AND WAS ONLY NOTICED BECAUSE THE INSIDE SIGNAL BLINKER WOULD SUDDENLY BRINK AT A VERY FAST RATE. A FEW MINUTES LATE IT WAS OK. NOW IF YOU TURN THE SIGN LIGHT ON, AFTER ABOUT 5 SECONDS, IT START BLINKING VERY RAPIDLY INDICATING THE RIGHT REAR SIGNAL HAS FAILED AGAIN. THE VEHICLE NOW HAS 16,000 MILES AND THE SITUATION IS THAT THE VEHICLE BEHIND ME MAY OR MAY NOT KNOW THAT I AM MAKING A RIGHT HAD TURN.

THE TIRES WERE NOT WORN DUE TO AGE BUT INSTEAD CUPPED DUE TO DAMAGED SUSPENSION COMPONENT, THE DEALERSHIP THAT I HAD THE VEHICLE SERVICED AT ON 12/15/2016 AT 32,534 MILES FOUND THE TREAD DEPTH TO BE AT 8/32 OR GREATER. AFTER NOTICING A ACCUMULATION OF FLUID UNDER MY VEHICLE I TOOK THE CAR TO A MECHANIC WHO MENTIONED THAT THE SEALS ON THE REAR AXEL WERE BOTH LEAKING. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY VERIFIED THAT BOTH SEALS WERE LEAKING AND THAT THE DIFFERENTIAL COVER WAS ALSO LEAKING. THEY REPLACED THE SEALS AND RESEALED THE DIFFERENTIAL COVER, BUT NOTED THAT I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR REPLACING THE FLUID IN THE DIFFERENTIAL. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN TAKEN OFF ROAD, OUTSIDE OF USUAL DRIVING DOWN UNPAVED ROADS.

WE HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE POWERTRAIN AS IN AN EARLIER REPORT WE SENT IN WHERE THE JEEP WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD WILL SHAKE AND RATTLE VIOLENTLY AND WE HAVE TO PULL OVER WAIT A MINUTE AND PUT IT INTO PARK THEN DRIVE TO CONTINUE. IT HAS HAPPENED 2 TIMES. NOW TO ADD TO THE LIST THIS WEEKEND WHEN WE TRIED TO DRIVE THE JEEP WE PUT THE GEAR INTO D TO DRIVE FORWARD AND THE JEEP WENT BACKWARDS INSTEAD. WE HAD TO PUT THE SELECTOR INTO PARK AND BACK TO DRIVE 3 TIMES BEFORE THE VEHICLE WOULD GO FORWARD. THIS LATEST INCIDENT WE WERE PARKED AT HOME ON PAVEMENT WITH NO INCLINE. TRIED CALLING THE DEALER BUT WITH IT BEING A WEEKEND GOT NO RESPONSE. DID CALL THE JEEP HOTLINE AND WAS TOLD TO TAKE IT TO A DEALER ON MONDAY. CALLED THE DEALER AND ON MONDAY AND WAS TOLD TO BRING IT IN ON TUESDAY. THE VEHICLE HAS 29K MILES AND HAS BEEN ACTING UP SINCE AROUND 15K. CALLED THE DEALER TODAY AND WAS TOLD STILL DO NOT KNOW WHY IT IS DOING WHAT IT IS DOING. *TR
VEHICLE, IN MOTION, ON HIGHWAYS, AND STREETS, SHUTS OFF. THE LIGHTS GO OUT, SOMETIMES THE RADIO TURNS OFF, THE STEERING GOES OUT, THE GAUGES FALL TO ZERO...THEN, THE BATTERY LIGHT COMES ON, AND THE ENGINE BEGINS OPERATING AS USUAL. IT FEELS AS THOUGH SOMEONE HAS TURNED OFF THE KEY AND THEN TURNED THE KEY BACK ON.
AT 11600 MILES, THE FRONT TIRES ON THE VEHICLE ARE SEVERELY CUPPED AND CHOPPED ON THE INSIDE DRIVING SURFACE. THE VEHICLE HAS HAD POOR HANDLING SINCE DELIVERY. AT 2400 MILES, THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED FOR POOR HANDLING, WANDERING, TIRE OSCILLATION AT HIGHWAY SPEED. THE DEALER DID "STEERING REPAIRS" AND RETURNED THE VEHICLE. AT 11500 MILES THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED TO THE DEALER FOR IDENTICAL HANDLING AND STEERING PROBLEMS. THE DEALER REPORTED THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE SUSPENSION AND ROTATED THE TIRES. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS RETURNED, AND DRIVEN AT 30+ MILES PER HOUR, THERE WAS A TERRIBLE HOWL COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE, AND THE STEERING PROBLEMS PERSISTED. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, THE TIRE DAMAGE WAS REVEALED TO THE OWNER, AND THE DEALER ADVISED THAT THESE PARTICULAR TIRES NEED TO BE ROTATED EVERY 2500 MILES OR THIS DAMAGE WILL OCCUR. THE DEALER, AND CHRYSLER, REFUSED TO REPLACE THE TIRES, STATED THE STEERING WAS FINE, AND SAID THE TIRES NEED TO BE ROTATED AS STATED ABOVE. THE TIRES ARE BF GOODRICH MUD TERRAIN TIRES, WHICH CAME FROM THE FACTORY. THE UNSAFE STEERING REMAINS UNREPAIRED, THE TWO TIRES ARE RUINED AT 11000 MILES, AND CHRYSLER AND THE DEALER HAVE REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING FURTHER TO REMEDY THE SITUATION OR REPAIR THE VEHICLE. THIS NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED AS A STEERING/SUSPENSION DEFECT, WHICH THE COMPANY IS UNWILLING TO REMEDY, OR EVEN REPLACE RUINED TIRES. I WAS LUCKY I WAS PARKING THE JEEP WHEN THE SECTOR SHAFT BROKE AND THE STEERING GEAR LINK FELL OFF. UNDER OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES THIS COULD HAVE ENDED IN A MAJOR ACCIDENT. AND IF A DEADLY ACCIDENT OCCURRED, THE INSPECTION REPORT MOST LIKELY WOULD HAVE BLAMED THE COLLISION FOR THE BROKEN SHAFT AND CHRYSLER WOULD HAVE BEEN EXONERATED OF ANY RESPONSIBILTY. I WAS TOLD THAT THEIR COMPUTERS WERE DOWN AND UNABLE TO READ THE CODES BUT THEY DID CAPTURE SOMETHING BUT HAD FORWARDED IT ONTO CORPORATE TO READ. A COUPLE DAYS LATER WITH NO UPDATE I CONTACTED CORPORATE AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO READ THE CODES BECAUSE THEIR SYSTEM WAS ALSO DOWN AND I WOULD HAVE TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. *TR
2015 WRANGLER JKU SPORADIC STALLING ON BOTH HIGHWAY AND RESIDENTIAL STREETS. WAS RECENTLY SERVICED FOR OIL CHANGE AND SOFTWARE UPDATE. ALSO STALLED WHILE JEEP WAS IDOL FOR 20 MINUTES BUT ABLE TO RESTART IT. WHEN IT STALLED...INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS UP AND JEEP STALLS. CAN RESTART IN HOUR WITH CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. DEALER NOT ABLE TO REPRODUCE STALLING AFTER TESTING FOR 10 MILES. THIS HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES. DROPPED OFF AT DEALER AGAIN THIS MORNING.
TWO WEEKS AGO THE JEEP FAILED TO SHIFT OUT OF GEAR ON THE HIGHWAY WHILE DRIVING TO WORK. PRIOR TO THIS IT WAS NOT DISPLAYING ANY ISSUES. LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO COAST TO A STOP IN THE BREAKDOWN LANE AND CALLED FOR A TOW BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP. LATER THAT DAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM A SERVICE MANAGER, ROGER THAT THE CLUTCH WAS WORN OUT AND REQUIRED REPLACEMENT. I WAS SHOCKED THAT A VEHICLE THAT IS LESS THAN A YEAR OLD WITH LESS THAT 18K MILES WOULD NEED A CLUTCH SINCE ABOUT ALL I DO WITH IT IS DRIVE TO WORK. HE EXPLAINED THAT THIS IS A WEAR PART AND NOT UNDER THE WARRANTEE SINCE I WAS OVER 12K MILES. LATER THE NEXT DAY THEY CALLED ME DOWN TO THE DEALERSHIP TO EXAMINE THE FULL EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE. THE CLUTCH JUST DIDN'T WEAR IT SHREDDED ITSELF APART CAUSING A CATASTROPHIC FAILURE IN THE TRANSMISSION. THE MECHANIC (WHO SEEMED TO KNOW WHAT HE WAS TALKING ABOUT) EXPLAINED THAT BASED ON THE FLYWHEEL CONDITION THAT THIS WAS NOT A CASE OF GRADUAL WEAR BUT A SUDDEN FAILURE THAT DAMAGED THE FLYWHEEL AND TRANSMISSION HOUSING. HE WAS BASING THAT ASSESSMENT ON THE FACT THAT THE FLYWHEEL WAS NOT WORN AT ALL AND SHOWED ME WHAT A WORN FLYWHEEL WOULD LOOK LIKE. UPON HEARING THAT I INSISTED THAT THIS SHOULD BE A WARRANTY COVERED REPAIR AS IT SOUNDED LIKE A MANUFACTURER'S DEFECT THAT CAUSED THIS AND CERTAINLY NOTHING I'VE DONE. BASICALLY THE CLUTCH EXPLODED AND CAUSED THIS. I'VE POSTED THIS STORY ON A FEW JEEP FORUMS AND FOUND A FEW OTHER JEEP OWNERS THAT WERE TOLD THE SAME THIS. SHE WENT TO THE DEALER AND COMPLAINED . SHE WAS TOLD WE HAD TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WHICH WOULD BE BEYOND A MONTH AND THEY WOULD KEEP IT FOR A SPELL . NO RENTAL OR LOANER...I WORK OUT OF TOWN AND GETTING IT IN ON APPOINTMENT IS NOT ALWAYS FEASABLE BEING MY WIFE IS ON DISABILITY AND NEEDS A VEHICLE. SINCE THEN THE PASSENGER SEATBELT HAS STUCK ON NUMEROUS OCCASION AND CANNOT BE OPERATED PROPERLY.THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE LATCH STICKING AND NOT RELEASING. SHE SAID TO GET IT TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS AND IF I HAD ANY OTHER ISSUESTO CALL HER BACK AND GAVE ME A CASE NUMBER. I CONTACTED THE DEALER BUT NO REPAIRS YET. THEY SAY WAIT FOR APPOINTMENT. I DID GO TO THE RECALL WEBSITE AND NOTICED OTHERS HAVING A WEATHER ISSUE, A FEW SEATBELTS AND ALSO THE SO CALLED DEATH WOBBLE. I ASKED THE WIFE FOR THE FULL SYMPTOMS AND TO MY SURPRISE IT IS THE KNOWN DEATH WOBBLE.SHE SAID IT WILL SHAKE VIOLANTLY AFTER 60MPH AND THEN JUMP OUT OF GEAR , POP INTO NUETRAL. I DONT REALLY KNOW HOW TO ADDRESS IT NOW AS JEEP NOR THE DEALERSHIP CARED ABOUT MY SAFETY AND GAVE ME SUCH UNESSIDARY TROUBLE. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APRECIATED. AT THE MOMENT THE DEALERSHIP SAYS THE PART CANNOT BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL U.S. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE ISSUED A RECALL BEFORE SOMEONE DIE IN A WRECK BECAUSE THEY ARE UNABLE TO SHIFT THE TRANSMISSION.
WHILE TRAVELING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH ON A CONTROLLED ACCESS HIGHWAY, MY WIFE OBSERVED THE AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATE, WITHIN SECONDS, THE DRIVER AIRBAG DEPLOYED. LUCKILY, SHE WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE. UNKNOWN IF THIS AIRBAG WAS MANUFACTURED BY TAKATA
THIS VEHICLE, WHILE SITTING IN A DRIVEWAY, ENGINE OFF FOR AT LEAST 1/2 HOUR, HAD A FIRE START IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO BE A TOTAL BURN. CHRYSLER INVESTIGATOR RULED THAT IT WAS NOT A "MANUFACTURING DEFECT." I HAVE MANY PICTURES OF THE FIRE EVENT AND AFTER FIRE REMAINS. I HAVE BEEN IN THE RETAIL AUTOMOTIVE BUSINESS FOR 30+ YEARS. I ALSO WAS A PUBLIC SPEAKER FOR CHRYSLER CORP AS WELL. HAD MY SON NOT STOPPED AT A FRIENDS HOUSE FOR DINNER, THAT FIRE WOULD HAVE OCCURRED IN MY GARAGE!! IT IS CRIMINAL WITH SO MANY SIMILAR COMPLAINTS FOUND ONLINE, THAT THEY WOULD CONTINUE TO TAKE THIS POSITION.
OUR JEEP GOES INTO A VIOLENT SHAKE WHICH MAKES IT VERY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL JUST TO PULL OFF THE ROAD AND STOP THE VEHICLE. WE FOUND OUT THIS IS CALLED THE JEEP DEATH WOBBLE. IT STARTED VERY SOON AFTER WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND IT STILL DOES IT.
DEFECTIVE CAR DOOR LOCKING SYSTEMS SPORADICALLY FAILS TO PROPERLY FUNCTION. UNLOCKING MODE IS INOPERABLE AT TIMES. THIS DEFECT OCCURS AT ALL TIMES WHETHER THE JEEP IS STATIONARY OR IN MOTION. I HAVE BROUGHT THE JEEP FOR REPAIRS NUMEROUS TIMES AND WAS ADVISED BY THE DEALERSHIP THAT IT COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIX THIS ISSUE. THE JEEP HAS BEEN BROUGHT IN FOR SERVICE AT LEAST FOUR TIMES DUE TO THE LOCKING SYSTEM. ON THE LAST SERVICE DATE, I WAS ADVISED AFTER MY JEEP HAD BEEN IN THE REPAIR SHOP FOR A MONTH, THAT THE INOPERABLE LOCKING DOOR MECHANISM WAS A SAFETY FEATURE DESPITE IT NOT APPEARING AS A SAFETY FEATURE IN THE OWNER'S MANUAL GUIDE. I REQUESTED FROM THE MANUFACTURE DOCUMENTATION VERIFYING THAT THE INOPERABLE LOCKING MECHANISM WAS A SAFETY FEATURE. AT THIS TIME, MANUFACTURE HAS FAILED TO PROVIDE ANY DOCUMENTATION CONFIRMING THAT THE INOPERABLE LOCKING MECHANISM IS A SAFETY FEATURE.

BUT THEY SAID TO DRIVE IT BACK TO CALIFORNIA TO THE JEEP DEALER WHERE WE BOUGHT IT. AFTER THAT WHEN DRIVING THE JEEP THE TRACTION LIGHT COMES ON AND AT THE SAME TIME THE ACCELERATOR STOPS WORKING. THE LIGHT STAYS ON FOR ABOUT 4-6 SECONDS, BUT SO DOES THE ACCELERATOR. THIS WAS HAPPENED 9 DIFFERENT TIMES. WE HAVE TAKEN THE JEEP INTO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND THEY KEEP THE JEEP FOR A WEEK. THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES, SO FOR 3 WEEKS WE DIDN'T HAVE OUR JEEP AND HAD TO RENT A CAR (WHICH JEEP PROVIDED). THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE TRACTION LIGHT GOING ON. AFTER THE THIRD TIME, THE DEALER WOULD NOT LET US BRING IN OUR JEEP TO THEM SO WE HAD TO CALL THE JEEP SOLUTION, WHICH IS A JOKE. THEY ONLY TRY TO FIND ANOTHER DEALER TO LOOK AT IT. SO WE TOOK IT TO ANOTHER DEALER AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE SAME PROBLEM. THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHEN THE TRACTION LIGHT COMES ON AND THE ACCELERATOR STOPS WORKING, HOW DANGEROUS IT IS WHEN DRIVING 70 MPH IN TRAFFIC AND THEN THE SPEED GOES DOWN TO 63 IN SECONDS. I WAS FLIPPED OFF, CUT OFF AND YELLED OUT BY OTHER DRIVES WHO THOUGHT I WAS SLOWING DOWN ON PURPOSE. I HAVE BEEN RENTING CARS TO DRIVE LONG DISTANCES BECAUSE I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE IT ON THE FREEWAY TOO FAR. SOME ONE NEEDS TO FIX OUR JEEP AND UNDERSTAND HOW DANGEROUS THIS IS. ENGINE PROBLEMS: STARTING SUMMER 2015 ENGINE SHUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING, ACCELERATING, SLOWING DOWN, STOPPED ENGINE WILL NOT GO BACK INTO GEAR ENGINE LOSES POWER WHEN ACCELERATING OR CRUISING BROUGHT INTO DEALERSHIP (PURCHASE LOCATION) APPROXIMATELY AUGUST 19TH 2015 RELEASED SEPTEMBER 2ND 2015 PROBLEMS PERSISTED BROUGHT INTO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP APPROXIMATELY SEPTEMBER 14TH 2015 RELEASED APPROXIMATELY SEPTEMBER 26TH PROBLEMS PERSISTED BROUGHT INTO DEALERSHIP SEPTEMBER 30TH 2015 STILL IN CUSTODY AS OF OCTOBER 8TH ON SEPTEMBER 29TH, I WAS TAKING AN ON RAMP FOR AN INTERSTATE. THE RAMP IS AN UPHILL, HAIR PIN TURN THAT THEN TURNS INTO AN OFF-RAMP FOR ONCOMING TRAFFIC. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED AN ISSUE ACCELERATING AND MERGING INTO THE INTERSTATE TRAFFIC HERE. WHEN I RAN OUT OF RAMP ROOM, I WOULD HAVE NEEDED TO SLOW DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY IN ORDER TO ALLOW THE SIDE BY SIDE TRACTOR TRAILERS TO GO BY. HOWEVER, BECAUSE OF OTHER CARS THAT WERE BEHIND ME ON THE ON-RAMP, THAT WAS NOT AN OPTION WITHOUT POSSIBLY CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. SO I MERGED WITH AS MUCH POWER AS I COULD GET, WHICH WAS NOT ENOUGH. THE CLOSEST TRACTOR TRAILING CAME BARRELING DOWN UPON ME QUICKLY WITH HORN BLARING. ON SEPTEMBER 30TH, JUST A COUPLE MILES AWAY FROM THE DEALERSHIP, I WAS THE FIRST IN LINE AT A RED LIGHT. THE JEEP SHUT OFF. I COULD NOT GET IT BACK INTO GEAR. IT JUST REMAINED IN NEUTRAL NO MATTER WHICH GEAR I TRIED TO PUT IT IN. I SHIFTED IN AND OUT OF PARK AND OTHER GEARS TURNED THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON MANY TIMES. A FEW TIMES DRIVE WOULD ENGAGE BUT THEN THE ENGINE WOULD SHUT OFF AGAIN AFTER A FEW FEET. I FINALLY GOT IT INTO GEAR AND ACCELERATED QUICKLY HOPING TO COVER A GREATER DISTANCE AND IT WORKED. I WAS ABLE TO FINISH MY TRIP TO THE DEALERSHIP.
I DID GET INTO A MINOR ACCIDENT WHILE DRIVING ONTO A ON RAMP AND MY VEHICLE SKIDDED THE GUARD RAIL. I EXITED THE VEHICLE TO CHECK FOR DAMAGE AND SAW A FLAME NEAR THE HOOD OF THE CAR AND IMMEDIATELY EXITED. THE GAS TANK WAS NEVER HIT NOR DID I HAVE A MAJOR DIRECT COLLISION IN THE ACCIDENT HOWEVER WITHIN SECONDS THE VEHICLE BURST INTO FLAMES AND WAS COMPLETELY ENGULFED. THE ENTIRE VEHICLE AND MY PERSONAL CONTENTS INSIDE MELTED INTO NOTHING. I LOVED JEEPS BUT THE INCIDENT HAS PERSUADED ME TO AVOID PURCHASING THEM FOR THE NEAR FUTURE.
ABOUT 30 MINUTES AFTER MIDNIGHT ON A THURSDAY MORNING I WAS AWOKE BY THE SOUND OF MY DOG BARKING AND MY SISTER WALKING INTO MY ROOM TELLING ME THERE WAS A LARGE GLOW IN THE DRIVEWAY. AFTER WALKING OUTSIDE, WE FOUND MY BRAND NEW 2015 WRANGLER ON FIRE WITH VERY LARGE FLAMES ERUPTING FROM THE HOOD. WE QUICKLY WOKE THE REST OF MY FAMILY AND RUSHED FRANTICALLY TO PUT IT OUT. AN HOUR LATER, AFTER NEARBY NEIGHBORS ARRIVED TO HELP, AND EMERGENCY SERVICES ARRIVED TO PUT OUT THE FIRE (LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT AND POLICE) THE VEHICLE FIRE WAS DOUSED AND THE JEEP WAS HAULED OFF MY PROPERTY TO A LOCAL TOWING YARD. THE FIRE SEEMED TO HAVE STARTED AROUND THE BATTERY AREA, BUT THE SOURCE HAS YET TO BE DETERMINED. THE FIRE CLAIMED THE ENTIRE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, MOST OF THE DRIVERS DASH BOARD AND DRIVERS INTERIOR, AND THE ENTIRE FRONT LEFT TIRE/TRIM.
I WAS DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED WHEN THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ACTIVATED. THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION WAS NOT SHIFTING PROPERLY, AND DID NOT SEEM TO DOWNSHIFT AFTER SLOWING DOWN TO PROCEED THROUGH TOLL BOOTH. WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO ACCELERATE AFTER PAYING THE TOLL, THE ENGINE BEGAN TO SLOWLY ACCELERATE AS IF IT WAS IN FOURTH OR FIFTH GEAR. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, THE OIL LIGHT BEGAN TO TURN ON AND OFF INTERMITTENTLY. I MADE IT TO A CHRYSLER/JEEP DEALER AND FOUND A PUDDLE OF OIL UNDER MY CAR AND THERE WAS NO OIL REGISTERING ON THE DIPSTICK. AFTER THE JEEP SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVENTUALLY LOOKED AT MY CAR, I FOUND OUT THERE WAS A CRACKED OIL FILTER ADAPTER THAT HAD TO BE REPLACED. AFTER DOING SOME RESEARCH, I LEARNED THAT THIS WAS NOT AN UNCOMMON PROBLEM IN JEEPS. I IMAGINE THAT I WAS FORTUNATE THAT THE ENGINE DID NOT SEIZE OR CATCH FIRE, WHICH OBVIOUSLY HAS THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE SERIOUS HARM.

BETWEEN THE DATES OF 3/20 AND 8/1 MY 2015 JEEP WRANGLER UNLIMITED (4DR, 4X4) HAS BEEN EXPERIENCING INTERMITTENT CEL P0340 WHILE PULLING A GRADE. WHEN THE CEL OCCUR THE VEHICLE LOSES SIGNIFICANT POWER AND IS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN SPEED. THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM LIGHTS COME ON INDICATING AN ERROR. DURING THIS TIME THE VEHICLE WILL NOT ACCELERATE TO A SAFE SPEED AND THE TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEMS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING. THE VEHICLE WILL RETURN TO NORMAL OPERATION AFTER TURNING THE KEY TO OFF THEN BACK ON. IF THIS IS DONE WHILE MOVING INTERMITTENTLY THE CAR'S SECURITY SYSTEM WILL ENGAGE AND THE VEHICLE WILL NOT START BACK UP. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE FOR WARRANTY REPAIR 5 TIMES WITH THIS ISSUE. EACH TIME THE PROBLEM IS SAID TO BE RESOLVED, BUT OCCURS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY.
I BOUGHT THE JEEP APRIL 4, 2015. ON JULY 19, 2015 I PARKED MY CAR IN THE DRIVEWAY AND 3 HOURS LATER AT 5:30 MY DOG WORK ME UP AND I LOOK OUTSIDE AND THE WHOLE FRONT END OF THE JEEP WAS IN FLAMES. WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE FIRE OUT BUT IT WAS A TOTAL LOSS.
I WAS DRIVING MY JEEP ON MY PROPERTY AND HAD STOPPED FOR A MOMENT. NEXT THING I KNOW IT WAS ON FIRE AND IT SPREAD SO QUICKLY I HAD NO CHOICE BUT LEAVE THE VEHICLE AND CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. I WAS LUCKY TO BE ABLE TO GET OUT.
6-SPEED MANUAL: WHILE STOPPED AT LIGHTS, CROSSING INTERSECTIONS, AND NORMAL DRIVING ON ROADS, DAY/NIGHT AND WARM/COLD, ENGINE STOPS FOR 2-10 SECONDS. IT HAS STOPPED WHEN PASSING OTHER VEHICLES REQUIRING FULL BREAK APPLICATION TO AVOID ONCOMING TRAFFIC. IN INTERSECTIONS AND WHEN THE CLUTCH WAS PUSHED IN TO HELP COAST THROUGH INTERSECTION, THERE WAS NO POWER STEERING TO HELP TURN THE WHEELS! THE DEALERSHIPS INSIST THAT THERE IS NO PROBLEM AND ENGINE COULD NOT CUT OUT WHILE DRIVING? THIS ENGINE PROBLEM HAS OCCURRED AT LEAST 30-40 TIMES.
DRIVING ON A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY AROUND 2PM. I HAD BEEN DRIVING FOR A SOLID HOUR ON THE SAME HIGHWAY WHEN MY JEEP SUDDENLY ACCELERATED. THE GAS PEDAL PROCEEDED TO THE FLOOR EVEN WHILE I TAPPED AND PRESSED PUMPING MY BRAKES. I RECALL AN INITIAL ODD FEELING UNDERFOOT PRIOR TO THE CLIMBING ACCELERATION. I FELT THE PEDAL PULL AWAY DIRECTLY AFTER I FELT A VIBRATION UNDERFOOT. I WAS NOT USING CRUISE CONTROL NOR WAS IT ENGAGED . THE ENGINE WAS CYCLING LOUDLY AND THE RPM GAUGE WAS CLIMBING IN THE RED, I HAD NO CAR MAT IN PLACE BECAUSE I SPILLED A PROTEIN SHAKE A WEEK EARLIER AND IT STILL SMELLED. I STILL CHECKED VISUALLY TO SEE IF SOMETHING SOMEHOW WAS OBSTRUCTING THE PEDAL. I HAD MY HANDS ON THE TOP OF THE WHEEL PER USUAL COMFORT SPOTS. I WAS LIKE, WAIT...WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?? I HAD TO PRESS AS HARD AS I COULD ON THE BRAKES WHILE PULLING THE EMERGENCY BRAKE UP SLOWLY TO BRING THE OPEN THROTTLED CAR TO A STOP. I NOTICED JUST BEFORE TURNING OFF THE CAR A RED LIGHTNING BOLT APPEARED ON THE DASHBOARD. MY NEW CAR WAS 4 WEEKS NEW TO OUR FAMILY. I AM AN EXPERIENCED DRIVER WHO OWNED JEEPS BEFORE IN 1989. THE GAS PEDAL WAS SO TIGHTLY PRESSED INTO THE FLOOR I COULD NOT GET THE TIP OF MY SHOE UNDER TO PULL IT UP. I WAS TAKEN FOR A DEATH RIDE FOR 10 MINUTES. THE CAR SMELLED LIKE BURNING MOTOR! IF THERE WAS TRAFFIC THIS DAY I CANNOT THINK OF THE REPERCUSSIONS .

THE CONTACT DISCOVERED THAT THE DRIVESHAFT WAS EXTREMELY CORRODED AND THAT THE ENTIRE FRAME OF THE VEHICLE, INCLUDING THE NUTS AND BOLTS WERE CORRODED AS WELL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE UNDERCARRIAGE NEEDED TO BE REPAINTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15. MA 09/03/15 THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER COVERED UP THE RUST AND CORROSION WITH AN UNDERCOATING. THE CONSUMER BELIEVES THE VEHICLE SAT IN WATER. I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW JEEP RUBICON UNLIMITED AND HAD THE DEALER INSTALL A MOPAR 4 INCH FACTORY APPROVED LIFT KIT. THE KIT HAS A LOT OF ISSUES WITH IT AND NOT A WHOLE LOT OF ANSWERS TO FIX THEM. I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE WITH MY 13 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER IN THE PASSENGER SEAT WHEN THE STEERING WHEEL STARTED TO SHAKE UNCONTROLLABLY AND WE HEADED INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. I WAS ABLE TO GET CONTROL OF THE JEEP ONLY BY SLAMMING ON THE BRAKES AND TURNING AWAY FROM THE ONCOMING TRAFFIC. THE DEALERSHIP HAS BEEN VERY HELPFUL WITH TRYING TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS BUT THEY ARE NOW SAYING THIS IS A MOPAR PARTS ISSUE AND THEY ARE IN A HOLDING PATTERN UNTIL THEY CAN GET SOME ANSWERS. I CALLED MOPAR AND THEY SAID IT IS THE DEALERS RESPONSIBILITY AND CHRYSLER HAS THE FINAL SAY ABOUT THE REPAIR PROCESS. THE JEEP HAS LESS THAN 800 MILES ON IT AND IM IN A RENTAL MINIVAN. TOO COOL !!!!!! LIST OF ISSUES : ALIGNMENT CASTOR CANNOT BE CORRECTED TO FACTORY SPECS DUE TO LACK OF ADJUSTMENT. FRONT AXLE IS NOT CENTERED DUE TO LACK OF ADJUSTMENT STEERING DRAG LINK DIGS INTO INSIDE OF WHEEL AND KNOCKS OFF THE BALANCE WEIGHTS. THE TRACK BAR BRACKET IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH AND HAS BENT ALLOWING THE STABILIZER AND TRACK BAR TO HAVE EXCESSIVE PLAY. THESE ISSUES ALL DEAL WITH THE STEERING COMPONENTS AND WAS CAUSED BY THE INSTALLATION OF THIS LIFT KIT.
