I began slowing down for a traffic light and experienced what felt like a car hitting me from behind. The problem is, "no one was behind me". A few days later I began noticing a distinctive shutter between 40 -70 Mph. under my seat, " It felt like I was going over rumble strips . I began researching this issue and learned that GM issued a Service Bulletin ( 18-NA-355 ), and the problem is a "known Issue". My question for my Senator is this "why wasn't a recall sent out"? Apparently a major car makers can get away with designing, building, and marketing a product with know problems which could lead to more serious issue. Since the issue deals with the power train, transmission safety, and the safety of the drivers , "How was GM permitted to simply issue a service bulletin? I followed the instructions and the dealership did not want to complete the work, "I had to write to GM and ask them to mandate the service on my vehicle. After the service my vehicle ran ok for a while, "but now I have strange shifting, slipping, clinking, and a violent jerk at times. How can the NTSB allow a vehicle with issues on the road? Again, this is a question for my Congressman and Senator.
Purchased vehicle in 2018. I’m the only owner. At the 84,000 miles mark lost brake pedal pressure. Detected the problem while parking. Took the car to the dealership for repairs. The car is at the dealership now and the dealership so far has said it may be the vacuum pump. They said that they are confirming if this is the case.
Complete loss of electronic power steering going around a corner with no audio or visual warning, or any information in the electronic control unit for the power steering system. This happened at corner of my house at less than 30 miles an hour causing my vehicle to hit the curb the left front wheel broke off went into the body and caused the unibody damage which totaled the car. I have surveillance video of the incident
When I place my car in park, I get a message on my display that says “shift to park”. Once that message comes on, I cannot turn my vehicle off and have to keep restarting my car until the message goes away, so it does not drain my battery completely. It happens every time I shift to park.

The contact stated that the lights were flashing very quickly. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The contact was informed that there was no remedy for the failure.
The car starts to shake violently at any speed and it does it all models whether it switches between V4 or V6 or V8 mode. I am taking it into the dealership on 10/01/21. I have found one 106 complaints on your site since Sept 21, 2021. The issue at hand is either a faulty torque converter and transmission. I have also found several hundred reports on the internet. And as of today GM has flushed the transmission only to have the problem happen again. I feel they know they have a costly issue at hand. I am more concerned about the safety factor and my family in the car and it decides to fail at highway speeds. When driving it started shuttering like it was road problems but it kept on getting worse then it started shifting hard taking off like it is gonna stall in middle of the road or if you take off and know you have plenty of time before the other car gets to you and it hard shifts at that time before you can get it to go to get out of the way the car is upon you braking hard honking it has done that a few times on me it is scary I’m having it fixed today to find out my extended warranty I paid for with the dealer does not cover to fix this the warranty runs out at 60,000miles mine has 64,000 so now it is costing me 452.48 to fix this when there is so many complaints online same thing it should already be a recall not a law suit.
In the middle of driving, power steering shut off and a notification saying "Service Power Steering" popped up on the dashboard. There were no signs/issues/warnings prior to this happening. Restarting the car didn't fix the issue so the car was taken to the dealer to diagnose the issue, which turned out to be a faulty power steering gear. This exact piece was replaced in Aug 2019 under a recall (NHTSA campaign id: 19V086. GM recall id: N182182760). I believe the recall does not address the issue or I was given a faulty piece. The dealer replaced the part but at my expense. GM could not give me a reason for why I should be held responsible for a faulty piece even though they stated that the part that needed to be replace is a sealed part and the fault was an internal fault/short. I had no control over damaging the part and the dangers of sudden loss of power steering put me, my passengers, other drivers, and pedestrians at risk. Power was lost in the middle of a rain storm and I needed to drive over an hour with no power steering just to get back home. The difficulty to turn with no power steering was so difficult that I couldn't even parallel park/pull over in a safe manner. I understand parts fail but GM should be held accountable for the faulty parts or properly address the recall from years ago because the "solution" clearly didn't fix the problem.
I have 2017 Camaro convertible, around 2020 I notice the rear window glass was separating from the top material. This car manufacturer should take the responsibility to repair the defect. There was an earlier complaint with NHTSA service # 17-NA-216
I had bought a 2017 camaro on 5/18/2021 and on 6/13/2021 I was in a car accident and once we were hit the air bags pop out we were not going to fast and on the driver side the embrome pop out and also smoke the driver had put his arm to cover his face and he has the mark on his arm of the embrome
The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated while his wife was stopped at a traffic light, the light turned green and the vehicle lost motive power and stalled. The contact stated that his wife was unable to restart the vehicle. The contact stated that when he attempted to jump start the vehicle, the vehicle remained off, but the passenger’s side rear taillight illuminated, and the windshield wipers engaged independently. The contact was able to restart the vehicle after three attempts. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who diagnosed that the battery had failed. The vehicle was then taken to Connell Chevrolet (2828 Harbor Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA 92626) who diagnosed that the battery needed to be replaced. The battery was replaced, and the dealer test drove the vehicle but informed the contact that they could not duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened. The approximate failure mileage was 42,767.
We purchased a vehicle from shamley in El Paso Texas and we were in volved in a head on coullsion. We tried to stop and the breaks didn't function we were going 25 mph. We lost traction control and hit a car who took the red light and the air bags popped and the driver airbags emblem was marked on my forearm. May you please assist me
Steering torque sensor failed when trying to turn into driveway and was put at risk of being rear-ended by not being able to get off of roadway (will only turn so far and no further). It is documented on the internet several times (Camaros, Corvettes & Cadillacs) and when you restart vehicle it resets for anywhere from 5 secs. to 5 min. My vehicle has approximately 21,500 miles on it and should not have this kind of defect. There is a message that comes on when it happens that says power assist disabled. There is no advance warning of occurrence. Dealer wants $1,886.82 to fix.
Screen display plan out words when weather get cold. I heard a lot people complain about that problem. Please record that problem, also blind spots. Very dangerous

The contact could hear air entering the cabin of the vehicle and see some outside light entering through the top and sides of the convertible roof. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who stated that the sound of air and hints of light entering through the seal of the convertible roof was normal. However, the leaking was repaired by replacing the seals around the roof. The contact stated the failure reoccurred during the next inclement weather. Currently, the convertible top failed to return to the upward position after being lowered. Several attempts were needed for the convertible top to return to the closed position. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the repair was not covered under a recall nor under warranty. The approximate failure mileage was 40,042.

THE CONVERTIBLE TOP HAD A RECALL ON MY CAR. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY KEPT THE CAR FOR A WHILE AND REPLACED THE TOP BUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER I TOOK IT HOME THE MECHANICAL MECHANISM BROKE AND HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO USE THE TOP AND NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME TO REPLACE THE RECALLED TOP AND MOTOR TO THE CONVERTIBLE TOP PORTION
STARTED MY CAR STARTED TO PULL OUT OF THE PARKING LOT INTO A HIGHWAY LOST POWER STEERING ASSIST AND HAD TO TURN STEERING WHEEL WITH A LOT OF EFFORT AND AVOIDED A COLLISION . PULLED OVER TO SIDE OF ROAD SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED STILL NO POWER STEERING . PULLED TWO CODES AND DROVE HOME 75 MILES WITH NO ELECTRIC POWER ASSIST. TOOK CAR TO CHEVROLET GAVE THEM CODES AND THEY DID NOT TELL ME OF ANY RECALL , ALTHOUGH MANY CAMAROS HAVE BEEN RECALLED FOR EXACT PROBLEM. I AM A MASTER ASE TECHNICIAN . FEW DAYS AFTER THAT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED OFF AND TOOK IT TO ED BOZARTH, WHERE I PURCHASED MY CAR, SERVICE DEPARTMENT. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS UNABLE TO DETECT FOR A WHOLE WEEK FROM 11/24/2020 TO 11/30/2020 WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR. THEY FINALLY GOT BACK TO ME AND STATED MY CAR IS READING P0711 FOR TRANSMISSION FLUID SENOR PERFORMANCE AND THEY NEED TO REPLACE TWO TRANSMISSION HARNESS. I HAD TO HAVE A NEW REAR BOOT PUT ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. ALL OF THE GREASE IN THE REAR WHEEL BOOT WAS ALL OVER MY WHEEL. THERE IS A ROAR IN THE REAR END WHEN YOU FIRST PULL OUT ONTO THE ROAD. IT FEELS LIKE IT IS IN THE REAR AXLE.

HELLO! I WANT TO REPORT GM ON THE INFAMOUS 8L45 TRANSMISSION SHUDDER. I HAVE HAD THE FLUID CHANGED IN 2018, THE TORQUE CONVERTER CHANGED IN 2018, AND THE FLUID FLUSHED WITH THE NA-18-355 BULLETIN BACK LAST YEAR. ALTHOUGH THE SHUDDER HASN'T RETURNED. I DON'T TRUST THAT THIS TRANSMISSION SHOWS QUALITY. I WORRY THAT THIS WILL LAST UNTIL OUR WARRANTIES ARE UP AND WE'RE ON OUR OWN. THIS NOT ACCEPTABLE. THIS IS A WEAK POINT OF THIS AMAZING CAR. I HAD ROUGH SHIFTING AND I'VE HAD SHIFTS THAT BUCKED. THIS IS NOT SAFE. THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL OR GM SHOULD GIVE EVERYONE A LONGER WARRANTY ON THESE TRANSMISSIONS.

THE CAR SHUT OFF AND THEN WOULDN'T START. HAD ENGINE REPLACED BECAUSE THE ENGINE WAS LOCKED UP. RECENTLY RECEIVED THE VEHICLE AND GAUGE CLUSTER SHUTS DOWN COMPLETELY WHILE DRIVING VEHICLE ALONG WITH INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM. WHEN IT TURNS BACK ON SCREEN SHOWS: SERVICE STIBILLITRAC, ABS SYSTEM, BATTERY SYSTEM, ENGINE OIL LOW, ENGINE REDUCED POWER, REDUCE CLUTCH USE, AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. HAD NO POWER STEERING, NO ACCELERATION, AND HAD LOSS OF BRAKES.

TRANSMISSION SLIPS AT APPROXIMATELY 1500-1800 RPM WHILE IN MOTION ON HIGHWAY CAUSING SEVERE VIBRATION OF VEHICLE. TRANSMISSION WON'T HOLD A GEAR AND WON'T AUTOMATICALLY SHIFT TO PREVENT VIBRATION. VEHICLE SEEMS TO 'LUG' AT THESE RPM'S.
STEERING WHEEL TORQUE SENSOR FAILED OPEN CAUSING LOSS OF POWER STEERING. ERROR CODE C0545. THERE IS AN ACTIVE GM FACTORY RECALL FOR POWER STEERING FAILURE, RECALL NUMBER: N182182760 AND NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 19V086000. UNFORTUNATELY, MY VIN WAS NOT PART OF THAT RECALL. POWER STEERING FAILURE OCCURRED AT 27,280 MILES ON VEHICLE. MY VEHICLE IS A 2017 CHEVY CAMARO SS CONVERTIBLE. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHILE SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT ON NAVAL STATION NORFOLK IN NORFOLK VA. A MESSAGE FLASHED ON THE CONSOLE READING SERVICE POWER STEERING, DRIVE WITH CARE. AT THAT POINT STEERING THE CAR AT LOW SPEED REQUIRED SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF FORCE TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL. FORTUNATELY, THE FAILURE DID NOT OCCUR WHILE THE CAR WAS IN MOTION OR ON AN ON/OFF RAMP OR IN TRAFFIC AS IT COULD HAVE CAUSED AN ACCIDENT.
I TOOK MY 2017 CHEVY CAMARO TO TOM BELL CHEVY LOCATED IN REDLANDS CALIFORNIA THEY REPLACED THE SOFT TOP ON MY CAR BECAUSE OF A RECALL. WHEN I GOT HOME I NOTICED THAT THE SOFT TOP WAS MAKING NOISES WHEN IT WAS GOING UP AND AS I WAS CLOSING IT. WHEN I LOOKED TO SEE WHAT THE NOISE WAS, I SAW THAT THE ARMS THAT RAISE THE SOFT TOP UP AND DOWN WERE COMPLETELY BROKEN. I CONTACTED TOM BELL CHEVY IMMEDIATELY AND WAS TOLD TO CONTACT THE 'UPHOLSTERY GUY' WHO I'VE NEVER MET IN MY LIFE. THEY GAVE ME A NUMBER TO CALL AND TOLD ME THAT THE PERSON OR COMPANY THEY USED TO REPLACE THE SOFT TOP THAT WAS RECALLED ON MY 2017 CAMARO WOULD COME TO MY HOME AND FIX THE ISSUE. IT HAS BEEN NOW MONTHS AND NO ONE HAS EVER CAME TO FIX IT NOR HAS TOM BELL CHEVY IN REDLANDS CALIFORNIA CALLED ME BACK. I E LEFT VOICEMAIL AFTER VOICEMAIL, EMAILED THEM MANY TIMES AND SENT TEXTS AND CALLED THE UPHOLSTERY PEOPLE BUT NO ONE HAS RETURNED MY CALLS OR EMAILS. THE VEHICLE IS DAMAGED AND IT WAS DONE BY WHOMEVER DID THE RECALL REPLACEMENT ON THE SOFT TOP. ALSO, THE SOFT TOP THAT MY VEHICLE WAS REPLACED WITH IS NASTY, VERY VERY CHEAP MATERIAL AND WHILE DRIVING THE CAR IT FEELS LIKE THE ENTIRE CAR IS GOING TO FLIP OVER BECAUSE OF HOW THIN AND CHEAP MATERIAL THE SOFT TOP WAS REPLACED WITH. I NEED SOMEONE TO CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY SO THAT THIS ISSUE CAN GET FIXED. I PURCHASED MY 2017 CAMERO WITH ONLY 36 MILES ON IT. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES FOR MAINTENANCE WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF ME PURCHASING THE VEHICLE. IT HAS BEEN TWICE FOR THE VIBRATION OF THE TRANSMISSION. AT FIRST THEY TOLD ME IT WAS A ISSUE WITH THE TIRES. I ENDED UP PURCHASING NEW TIRES, HOWEVER THE PROBLEM STILL PERSISTED. I TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP AND THEY FINALLY STATED THAT IT WAS A ISSUE WITH THE TRANSMISSION FLUID AND THEY HAD TO WAIT ON GM TO SEND SOME TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE MOST RECENT ISSUE I HAVE WITH MY 2017 CAMERO IS THAT THE STABILITY TRACK LIGHT CAME ON, THIS CAUSED MY CAR TO CUT OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING IT. I HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALERSHIP. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THEY REPAIRED THE STABILITY TRACK ISSUE BUT I NEED A NEW ENGINE OR TO HAVE THE ENGINE REBUILT. THE DEALERSHIP STATED A CODE#2 CYLINDER MISFIRE INTERNAL CODE DISPLAYED. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THAT A NEW ENGINE WOULD COST ME AROUND $8900.00 PLUS LABOR. THEY STATED TO REBUILD IT IT WOULD BE OVER $10,000.00. THEY STATED MY WARRANTY WAS UP AT 60,000 MILES AND THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT THEY OR GM CAN DO TO TO ASSIST ME. THIS IS THE FIRST CAR THAT I HAVE EVER PURCHASED AND IT 'S UNTHINKABLE THAT A ENGINE GOES OUT ON A CAR WITH 70,000 MILES ON IT. I ALSO KEPT UP WITH MY REGULAR SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE . I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
AFTER ACCELERATION THE STEERING WILL RANDOMLY PULL LEFT AND OR RIGHT. THIS REQUIRES AN UNEXPECTED FORCE TO CONTROL CAUSING A SAFETY CONCERN. THIS CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME OR WEATHER BUT NORMALLY AT THE BEGINNING OF A DRIVE. ONGOING ISSUE.
THE BACK WIDOW IS COMING LOSE FROM THE CONVERTIBLE TOP. IT STARTED AROUND 37000 MILES AND NOW MORE AND MORE IT COMING LOSE. . IT COULD A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE IF IT COMES OUT. I KNOW TONS OF CAMARO OWNERS WITH SAME ISSUES
HAD A TORQUE CONVERTER SHUDDER WHICH WAS FIXED BY UPDATING TO NEW GM FLUIDS. AFTER THIS SERVICE, AROUND 1000 MILES LATER I STARTED EXPERIENCING HARD SHIFTS FROM 1ST TO 2ND GEAR. TOOK IT INTO SERVICE WHERE THEY CHANGED A VALVE BODY. THIS GOT RID OF MY HARD SHIFTS FOR ABOUT 1500 MILES, THEN IT CAME BACK EVEN WORSE. THESE PROBLEMS OCCUR WHEN THE CAR IS IN MOTION(USUALLY UNDER SLOW ACCELERATION).

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER TO HAVE THE BRAKE MODULE REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN A RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO MAINTENANCE AND PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 9-5640437071. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 74,000. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN.
AS I'M DRIVING AT 55MPH OR HIGHER, ALL OF THE SUDDEN THE CAR SHUTS OFF AND COMES RIGHT BACK ON AND ALL YOU SEE ARE ALL THE DASHBOARD LIGHTS TURN ON AND OFF ALL AT ONCE WHICH IS SCARY BECAUSE WHEN THAT HAPPENS, YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OF THE CAR BECAUSE ONCE THE CAR SHUTS OFF, FOR THAT ONE OR TWO SECONDS IT DOES THIS YOU HAVE NO CONTROL AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS ON YOU. THE CAR WILL ALSO NOT ALLOW YOU TO PRESS ON THE GAS PEDDLE TO MAKE THE SPEED GO UP, AT TIME WHEN I DEPRESS THE GAS PEDDLE, THE CAR HESITATES AND DOES NOT WANT TO ACCELERATE AND THEN ALL OF THE SUDDEN IT ACCELERATES AT A VERY HIGH SPEED WITHOUT YOU CONTROLLING IT.

I SOON DISCOVERED THAT GM IS BEING SUED, VIA CLASS ACTION LAW SUITS AS MY PROBLEMS ARE BEING EXPERIENCED BY MANY OTHERS, YET THEY STILL SELL NEW CARS WITH THIS SAME TRANSMISSION. ON AUGUST 17, 2019, I TRADED IT BACK IN TO THE DEALER WITH ONLY 17,400 MILES ON IT, NOT KNOWING THAT I WOULD BE STIFFED ON THE TRADE IN VALUE. NHTSA RECALL NUMBER, 19V086 IT IS NOW JUNE 2019 AND ON 6/16/19, I WAS DRIVING MY CAR ABOUT 15-20MPH, DRIVING AROUND A ROUNDABOUT AND MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED ON ME, CAUSING ME TO WRECK MY CAR WHICH CAUSED MY SEAT AND OVERHEAD AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY ALONG WITH SUSPENSION, WHEEL AND BODY DAMAGE. I HAD THE WHEEL TURNED LEFT GOING AROUND THE CIRCLE AND AS I WAS TRYING TO TURN THE STEERING WHEEL BACK TO THE RIGHT TO EXIT THE ROUNDABOUT, MY STEERING WHEEL LOCKED, CAUSING ME TO RUN OVER TOP OF THE CURB STRIKING MY WHEELS ON THE EDGE OF THE STEEL SEWER AND BACK INTO THE STREET STRIKING THE LEFT SIDE OF MY VEHICLE ON AN ISLAND EXITING THE ROUNDABOUT WHICH CAUSED MY AIRBAGS TO DEPLOY. ONCE MY AIRBAGS DEPLOYED MY ENGINE AND ELECTRICAL WAS SHUT DOWN AUTOMATICALLY. I DID SUFFER A HARD IMPACT ON MY LEFT SHOULDER FROM THE AIRBAG. I RECEIVED NOTIFICATION THAT MY 2017 CHEVROLET CAMARO HAS A RECALL FOR THE POWER STEERING. THE NOTIFICATION STATES THE DEALER WILL REPLACE THE POWER STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY; HOWEVER, WHEN I CONTACTED THE DEALER TO HAVE THE RECALL FIXED THEY SAID NO REMEDY IS READY YET.
HARD SHIFTS BETWEEN 1ST & 2ND GEAR VIBRATION BETWEEN 1500 & 1800 RPM. THIS CAR HAS ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT VIBRATION SEEMS TO HAPPEN WORSE WHEN IN 4 CYLINDER MODE. GM IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND KEEPS PROMISING A FIX WHICH HAS YET TO BE RELEASED. BLAME IT ON FLUID IN TRANSMISSION.

THE CAR WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALERSHIP AND CHECKED OUT. PER THEM, THEY COULD FIND ANYTHING WRONG.

THIS IS DANGEROUS ON CROSS ROAD STOPS AND STOP LIGHTS. HAD FEW EVENTS THE CAR WOULD ALMOST STALL AND BE IN A DANGEROUS PLACE IN THE ROAD WITH UPCOMING TRAFFIC. THIS PROBLEM CAN CAUSE A COLLISION. IT REQUIRES NEW IGNITION TIMING PROGRAMMING OF THE ECU. CHEVROLET IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE FOR A LONG TIME AND HAS NOT ISSUED ANY FIXES YET.
WHEN TAKING OFF FROM A STOP, AT NORMAL SPEED, THE ENGINE BOGS AND ALMOST STALLS. THIS REQUIRES A RE APPLICATION OF THE CLUTCH AND MORE THROTTLE TO PREVENT STALLING. THIS HAPPENS ALMOST DAILY. IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE PULLING INTO TRAFFIC FROM A DRIVEWAY AND ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING WITH A CLUTCH FOR OVER 30 YEARS ON BOTH CARS AND MOTORCYCLES. THERE IS A REAL PROBLEM WITH THE TORQUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ON THIS CAR. THE MANUAL TRANSMISSION BOGS IN FIRST GEAR UNDER AGGRESSIVE ACCELERATION FROM A STANDING START. THIS MOST OFTEN OCCURS WHEN PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE ALMOST STALL ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS IWHEN PULLING OUT INTO TRAFFIC. I BELIEVE THE CAUSE IS EXCESSIVE TORQUE MANAGEMENT IN THE VEHICLE'S ECU PROGRAM.
PULLEY BEARING OR PULLEY TENSIONER IS SQUEAKING. THE SERVICE ADVISORS AT MY DEALER REFUSED TO BELIEVE ANY SORT OF NOISE, EXCEPT ANOTHER SERVICE REP SAID HE HEARS IT. THEY REFUSED TO FIX ANY ISSUE BECAUSE THEY'RE LAZY AND DONT WANT TO PAY FOR THE PART.
I DROVE THE CAR 4 MILES THEN TURNED IT OFF AND PARKED. UPON STARTING THE VEHICLE AGAIN THE POWER STEERING FAILED. A WARNING ON THE DASH INDICATED THAT THE POWER STEERING WAS NOT WORKING AND TO DRIVE CAREFULLY. I DROVE THE CAR BACK HOME 4 MILES AND PARKED IN THE GARAGE. THE CONDITION CLEARED AFTER I SHUT THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTED IT. THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED.
THEY HAVE A FLAW WHERE THERE IS ALWAYS VENT FROM WHEN THE AC IS ON TO THE DEFROST VENT ON THE WINDSHIELD, HERE IN TEXAS WHERE THERE IS 100 HUMIDITY MOST OF THE YEAR. I HAVE POOR VISIBILITY BECAUSE OF ALL THE CONDENSATION FROM COLD AIR HITTING THE WINDSHIELD ALL THE TIME. I AM HAVING TO RUN MY WIPERS ANYTIME I DRIVE MY VEHICLE, EVEN WITH NO RAIN. IT CAUSES FOR A MAJOR DISTRACTION AND I HAVE ALMOST WRECK SEVERAL TIMES
WAS IN A WRECK AND NOT ALL THE IR BAGS DEPLOYED, THE WHEELS CAME APART FROM THE TIRES AND THE WHEELS BROKE APART, AND THE SEAT BROKE
WHILE DRIVING THE CAR THROUGH CORNERS, THE STEERING WHEEL WILL INTERMITTENTLY STEER IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION THAT I'M TURNING. I FEEL THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN THAT CAN LEAD TO AN ACCIDENT. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES, BUT THE FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED MAY 12, 2017.
