The contact owns a 2017 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the display screen intermittently failed, which caused the navigation system to become inoperable. The display screen controls the navigation and HVAC system. The contact who is deaf and relied on the navigation system for commuting. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and diagnosed that the display screen might fail due to the high temperatures in Florida. The display screen needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but informed the contact that there was no recall associated with the VIN and the vehicle was out of warranty. The failure mileage was approximately 53,000.
The door panels of all the doors are falling apart, car is only 4 years old.
The Uconnect screen has delamination in it that is causing ghost punches on the touch screen. I have ad this screen replaced back in 2018 for the same issue and its now doing the same thing. It is very distracting when it starts to call people due to the ghost touches or its messing with the radio or general setting for the car.

Every time I shift my shift knob from drive to reverse or vice versa. I hear a clunk in the transmission. Like as if my transmission is slipping.
The center console control that has your heat ,radio ,seat heat control,car temperature control as well as phone and navigation system started acting nuts.Dash started running navigation system to random destinations with distance and time then it would switch to phone and start calling random phone numbers in my contact list.tried to call 911 and could not connect and told me to try calling from my cell phone.like another report i read about this separation of glass on this display may very well be the cause but don’t know for sure. This is the first time I had this problem and with today’s computers on these new cars I worry if it will start taking over control of car functions and drivability issues.I have been a mechanic for more than 40 years and never seen anything like this.Hope someone will look into this problem before someone gets hurt.

AFTER I FEEL THE VEHICLE UP WITHOUT TOPPING OFF THE VEHICLE STARTS RUNNING ROUGH AFTER ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES. THE CAR SHUTS OFF AND ERROR MESSAGE COMES UP TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND THEN SELECT DESIRED GEAR. THE ENTIRE TIME YOU CAN SMELL GAS BECAUSE THE CAR IS LEAKING FUEL FROM THE RIGHT REAR WHEELHOUSE AREA. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE. I WAS JUST DRIVING ON I95 AND THIS HAPPENED TO ME. WHEN I'M DRIVING DOWNHILL AND APPLY BREAKS, CAR STARTS TO VIBRATE. THEN AT TIMES OF HIGH SPEED OF 70-75 THE BLIND SPOT WARNING LIGHT COMES ON AND THE SIDE SENSORS STAY ON UNTIL I COME TO A COMPLETE STOP.

I AM EXPERIENCING A KNOW DEFECT IN CHRYSLER VEHICLES WHERE THE INTERIOR DOOR PANELS ARE SEPARATING AND WARPING AT THE WINDOW LINE. THIS CAN CAUSE THE SIDE AIRBAGS TO NOT DEPLOY CORRECTLY AND MAY INTERFERE WITH THE OPERATION OF THE DOOR LOCKS.

RADIO SCREEN LOOKS AS IF THERE IS SCREEN PEELING FROM INSIDE THE SCREEN. MOST OF SCREEN IS CLEAR AND LOOKS AS IT SHOULD BUT ABOUT AN INCH FROM THE TOP IS A DIFFERENT COLOR. THE SCREEN IS CONSTANTLY FLIPPING FROM 1 SCREEN TO ANOTHER.

ECM FAULTY REQUIRES FULL DISCHARGE WITH BATTERY CABLES REMOVED. DID NOT WORK FOR ME HAD TO GO TO DEALERSHIP TO GET THEM TO FLASH AND RESET IF I DID NOT HAVE A WARRANTY THEY WOULD HAVE CHARGED ME.

WHEN AC IS ON THERE IS A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE EVERY TIME WE TURN AC ON OR IF THE CAR IS IN USE FOR A LONG TIME THE ODOR IS VERY STRONG IN THE CAR, SINCE THIS ISSUE STARTED THE CAR HAS BEEN USING MORE GASOLINE AND I HAVE TO FILL UP THE TANK MORE TIMES THAN USUAL. I HAVE TRIED TO GET THEM TO INSPECT THE FUEL LINES TO CHECK IF THERE IS A LEAK OR HAVE THEM CHECK THE AC TO SEE IF THEY CAN FIND THE CAUSE OF THE STRONG ODOR THAT WE GET WITH THE AC ON BUT HAVE HAD NO LUCK. I AM TO THE POINT THAT I AM WORRIED FOR MY HEALTH AND MY CHILDREN'S HEALTH DUE TO THE STRONG GASOLINE ODOR.

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2014-2017 Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD). The front driveshaft bolts may loosen and allow the front driveshaft to disconnect, potentially causing a loss of motive power.

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2014-2018 Dodge Journey, Charger and Durango, RAM 2500, 3500, 3500 Cab Chassis (more than 10,000lb), 4500 Cab Chassis and 5500 Cab Chassis, Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee and Chrysler 300, 2014-2019 RAM 1500, 2015-2018 Dodge Challenger, 2015-2017 Chrysler 200, 2016-2018 RAM 3500 Cab Chassis (less than 10,000 lb), 2017-2018 Chrysler Pacifica and 2018 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. These vehicles are being recalled to address a defect that could prevent the cruise control system from disengaging. If, when using cruise control, there is a short circuit within the vehicle's wiring, the driver may not be able to shut off the cruise control either by depressing the brake pedal or manually turning the system off once it has been engaged, resulting in either the vehicle maintaining its current speed or possibly accelerating.
