Both interior liftgate lights inoperative. However, the "liftgate ajar light", and came on without warning as I was driving. I had not opened the litigate. Radio system skips & pops. fails to load tor loads slowly. Brakes failed to fully engage quickly on a slow turn, causing a total loss accident. Vehicle has 645 miles on it. I love my Bronco Sport. But..is it safe to drive if I order a new one? Can there be a cross check done by VIN to ensure I'm not getting one with the same problem? Specifically, the brakes? The brake issue worries me Please advise. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, [XXX]. Vehicle purchased at Pundmann Ford, Saint Charles. Unknown. When backing up there is a howling sound while applying the brakes. The cause maybe the brake linings or rotors.

Vehicle has a recall and manufacturer is not able to fix this. When asked about the timelines within which it can be fixed, ford mentioned that it would be more than 6 months. More than 6 months is not a reasonable time when there is a risk of crash. I wanted ford to either replace the vehicle or provide a rental car. They are not able to do that either. So I have to either take risk and continue driving the vehicle which might result in a crash or not use the vehicle for more than 6 months. Neither of those seem reasonable. Need ford to provide a solution to the problem instead of simply neglecting the request.

Headlight cracked even though it is made of plastic. Brand new car, only 3 months old and Ford claims that a “foreign object” must have hit it. Although in all the vehicles I have driven in the state of Maine, never has a rocket broken my headlight. Not to mention the cost to fix it is $2,600 for one headlight.

The windshield developed a crack down the center of the windshield starting at the top of the glass. There is no apparent indication that crack is due to an object hitting it.
I have the same symptoms of recall 21V625000, they check my SUV however they said its not afected by the recall and the problem is still happening.
The car wouldn't stop even after normally hitting the brakes. It continued to slide almost hit another car. The brakes make squeaking noise when in reverse mode
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco. The contact stated that an abnormal squealing noise would emit from the vehicle without warning. The contact had taken the vehicle to a dealer where they had kept the vehicle for over a week; she was later informed that the manufacturer was notified, and the noise had been deemed "acceptable. The car stalls out and stops accelerating while on the road, putting me in danger. At first, it displayed service and check engine lights, and the Ford Service Dept said it was a faulty transmission sensor. They replaced it, and now no service and check engine lights appear, but the car continues to have problems accelerating or changing gears. It is driving very loud as well and struggling to drive at high speeds. Consumer stated auto-shutoff at lights is also not working consistently and continues to stay shutoff even after letting go of the brakes. This hasn't ever happened before.

On morning of Sept 2, 2021 I was driving home from my overnight shift as a nurse getting off about 0635, driving down a major street in the downtown area. I was approx 6 blocks from my hospital approaching a busy intersection and my Bronco Sport [2021] lost all power. Because my speed was only 30mph, it was easy to just come to a stop after a short roll Anytime the Bronco Sport shuts off it automatically goes into Park. So I had no power, not even flashers and could not put it into neutral to push it out of the intersection onto a side street. So I sat in my dead vehicle blocking traffic, just before dawn without flashers that worked, and directly in front of a bus stop, unable to move it at all. There were no warning lights or messages that came on prior to the loss of power on the dash. My radio was working fine, vehicle seemed to be running normal. After my Bronco Sport was towed to the dealer, which they have had now going on 1 week, they report the battery was completely dead and after they charged it they cannot replicate the problem I had. The battery stays charged but numerous warnings that come up on their diagnostic board. They ordered a new battery which is supposed to arrive today, Thursday 9-9-21.Once the new battery is installed they will check if the warnings go away and again if the new battery will die. The dealership cannot tell me why the battery/vehicle just died as it did. I am afraid to drive it on a crowded interstate or roadway of any type but I need a reliable vehicle to get to work.
When turning on the car and getting it into drive, the car does not move as it seems to be stuck in neutral. Once the gear catches, the car does drive. This happens at stop lights, in traffic, red lights, and any time my car has to stop. This occurs with the engine on or off. This car also was bought on 8/17 straight off the truck for the dealership.
While driving on interstate I noticed what seemed to be small gravel (sand like) hitting the vehicle. Then I heard the sound of the window cracking across from the lower drivers side to the center of the window. I never noticed anything striking the window. After stopping in a safe area I could see on the outside that something small had struck it. The windshield has been replaced by my insurance company and One week later I have already received one small chip. As with most people my age I’ve had numerous vehicles and have only had one other vehicle with a windshield that was as easily damaged and that would be a Jeep TJ. Many other people have been complaining on line about the same issue. Like Jeep Ford should be replacing the windshield with a better product.

Windshield is too thin and is prone to cracking very quickly. The windshield needs to be made out of thicker glass.
The dash cluster was dead and the start button LED just flashed on and off. The battery, checked with a VOM, showed normal voltage. The vehicle would not start. I unhooked one of the battery terminals and waited 10 minutes for the system to reset. After reconnecting the battery the vehicle lit up, behaved and started as normal. One should not have to carry tools to reboot their vehicle.
WHEN DRIVING MY 2021 BRONCO AND GOING INTO A RIGHT TURN THE VECHICLE GETS LOOSE . SORT OF SCARY WHEN IT DOES IT. LIKE IM GOING TO LOSE THE VECHICLE. THE STEERING WHEEL GETS REAL LOOSE AND ITS A CONCERN RIGHT NOW. I THOUGHT YOU ALL CAN LOOK IN T O THIS AND SEE WHAT IS CAUSING IT.
Chipping paint and gear shift knob cracking and ineffective
I live in northern Indiana where humidity is high in the summer. We often have nights with a low temperature in the 60s to low 70s, with heavy dew, and sometimes fog. I park the Bronco in the garage overnight, and the windows are clear in the morning. I go to work before sunrise. With the climate control (With: Manual Temperature Control) set for no, or low heat, and outside air, everything is fine till about 10 minutes into the drive. The air conditioner turns on (with no indication that it is on, except the ice cold air coming out of the vents). Then the windshield starts to fog up on the outside because of the high humidity outside and a cold windshield. There is now way to turn off the air conditioner, except to turn off the climate control. I have tried turning up the temperature control to compensate, only to have the air conditioner turn off after several minutes, then I get hot air, and it is a never-ending task to try to control this as the temperature from the vents goes up and down. When the windshield fogs up on the outside, the wipers can;t effectively clear it. This hassle is also distracting to the driver. I know of no reason to have a humidity sensor turn on the air conditioner. This was verified by the dealer that the humidity sensor is what is turning on the AC.
While driving the new Bronco Sport big bend home, we both heard a rattling shuttering whirring noise coming from the drivers left side in the dash. We felt this was not a normal noise as we had never heard this on any other new cars we’ve had. The whirring noise happens on accelerating. The rattling shuttering noise happens at low speeds at ~1500rpms. We took it to the dealer where we purchased it at 1036 mileage. They heard the noise and said it was not normal. They said they found the hood latch cable vibrating and it was fixed. It was not fixed at all. So we took it to another dealer at 1575 mileage. This dealership service department confirmed the engine rattling shuttering/whirring noises are not normal also, but They suspect it's something to do with the transmission. They did their testing and found abnormal air leakage around the “F” clutch port internal to trans. They proceeded to replace the whole transmission. They test drive it and said it was fixed. Yes the whirring hissing noise was much less. But after driving it 100 miles, all these noises are back. Very frustrated and wondering if we will get stranded with a failed transmission somewhere!
Windshield cracked 15 days after purchase. There was no sign of any damage that could have caused the crack. Also, with lane keep assist vehicle will steer entirely into other lane without any correction from the safety system
On July 10th this vehicle was hit at a high rate of speed by another vehicle. I was a passenger in this ford Bronco sport, non of the airbags went off. The driver of the Bronco and i were both injured.
My Bronco was running while parked and another driver struck my driver side fender at about 60mph. Which spun my car about 180° and about 15 feet from where i was parked. None of the airbags went off even though the vehicle should have sustained sufficient sideways motion. The fuel shut off was activated and the radio notified me of a crash but my 911 assist wasn't set. I asked ford and my body shop who haven't been able to tell me why my airbags didn't deploy
UNKNOWN I purchased a new 2021 Ford Bronco from the Ford dealership in Gaithersburg, MD in May 2021. On June 24th with 700 miles on the odometer I began a cross country drive to Wisconsin for a family vacation. Spent the week up North in Minocqua. Returned to Oconomowoc WI for the 4th of July weekend. On Monday July 5th my 15 year old nephew and I began the drive back to MD. Around 3:00pm we ma de our first stop at a convenience center in Elkhart IN. I parked my car and we went in to use the restrooms, while in the restroom my nephew heard someone say that there was a car on fire in the parking lot. It was my Ford Bronco. A total loss. I had no notice of any sort of issue with the vehicle.
Small rock hit my windshield and caused a huge 12+ inch crack in the middle of the windshield. Started off as a small crack then grew.
Had a rock hit my windshield in the lower left corner. It immediately started to crack approx 8". The next morning it grew to about 18+". I have heard that the glass used is thinner than most. I feel this is a major concern to the consumers as if any little thing may crack these windshields and have the customer shell out more money to have them replaced everytime. I feel safety is a factor as well, causing possible shattering, etc. Car is scheduled for a safelite replacement.
The contact owns a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle hesitated with the accelerator pedal depressed. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 1,000.
Stress fracture in windshield while it was sitting in a parking lot all day. Cameras on premises verified nothing hit the car.
while driving my shifter was accidentally tapped and went into neutral I went to a parking lot & at a slow speed I could put the car into reverse or park so if you are driving at 65 MPH it can be shifted and will be a safety issue I'm sure

AFTER THAT I TRIED TO TEST IF THE PRE COLLISION WARNING SYSTEM IS WORKING OR NOT SO I TRIED TO FORCE THEM SUCH AS I DROVE INTO LIKE ALMOST HIT TO ANOTHER OBJECT/ CAR WITHOUT HITTING BRAKE BUT I NEVER GET OR SEE ANY WARNING ON THE SCREEN.I EVEN SETTING THE SENSITIVITY ON HIGH! TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2021 FORD BRONCO SPORT. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 20 MPH, SHE HEARD AN ABNORMAL SOUND AND BECAME AWARE THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE REAR WINDOW HAD SHATTERED. THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND PARKED IN A NEARBY PARKING LOT. THE CONTACT'S GRANDSON WAS SEATED IN THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE AND HAD SOME SCRATCHES TO HIS LEG BUT DID NOT REQUIRED MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT CALLED MATT BOWERS FORD (3724 VETERANS MEMORIAL BLVD, METAIRIE, LA 70002, (504) 887-8410) AND WAS REFERRED TO A GLASS REPAIR FACILITY. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE STALLED [HALTED] ON MY DAUGHTER WHILE IN MOTION IN MOVING TRAFFIC. THE VEHICLE BECAME INOPERABLE AND WAS TOWED TO DEPAULA FORD ALBANY NY. THE VEHICLE STALLED AS A RESULT OF A FAULTY FUEL PUMP AND ONLY HAS 1449 MILES. MY DAUGHTER COULD HAVE BEEN INJURED AS A RESULT OF THE VEHICLE DISABLEMENT IN FLOWING TRAFFIC ON A BUSY CITY STREET. FUEL PUMP REPLACEMENTS ARE A "SUBSTANTIAL DEFECT" THAT IMPAIRS THE CAR'S USE, VALUE, AND MOST IMPORTANT SAFETY. THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY DEFECT TO THE FUEL AND EMISSION SYSTEM. FUEL PUMP PROBLEMS ARE TYPICALLY MILEAGE DEPENDENT ISSUES. YOU TYPICALLY NEED TO HAVE AT LEAST 60K MILES ON THE AVERAGE VEHICLE BEFORE THE FUEL PUMP STARTS TO GIVE OUT ALSO, IF A VEHICLE'S FUEL SYSTEM IS AT THE POINT WHERE FUEL PUMP REPLACEMENT IS NECESSARY, IT IS 10 TIMES LIKELY OTHER COMPONENTS ARE FAULTY: ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS, FUEL INJECTORS, CLOGGED FUEL FILTERS, ETC. SO TYPICALLY OTHER IMPORTANT COMPONENTS ARE SWAPPED OUT AT THE SAME TIME WITH THAT BEING SAID, THE FORD DEALERSHIP ADVISED THE EXHAUST CLAMP WASN'T TIGHTENING CORRECTLY SO THEY ORDERED A NEW CLAMP AND ARE PUTTING IT ON TOMORROW. I'M NOT A MECHANIC BUT I HAVE COMMON SENSE TO KNOW THIS IS A COMPONENT OTHER THAN THE A FUEL PUMP. MY DAUGHTER IS TO PICK UP THAT VEHICLE TOMORROW AND I AM VERY CONCERNED FOR HER SAFETY IN THIS BRAND NEW VEHICLE UNDER 1500 MILES! WE HAVE KINDLY ASKED FORD FOR A VEHICLE REPLACEMENT BUT I ALSO WANTED TO INFORM OTHER AVENUES BECAUSE I AM CONCERNED FOR MY DAUGHTERS SAFETY IN THIS CURRENT VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED FOR PEACE OF MIND AND RIGHT NOW WE ARE UNSETTLED! IT SHOULD IMMEDIATELY BE TAKEN OFF THE STREETS AND TAKEN BACK TO THE FORD LAB FOR ASSESSMENT; IF THIS THE FIRST EVER ISSUE LIKE THIS FOR THE 2021 BRONCO SPORT RESPECTFULLY [XXX] ON BEHALF OF [XXX], OWNER OF VEHICLE INDIAN - [XXX] PARTS OF THIS DOCUMENT HAVE BEEN REDACTED TO PROTECT PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6). *CC
