The contact owns a 2021 Genesis GV80. The contact stated that while stopped at a turning lane, the engine warning light was illuminated. The engine control system warning message had appeared on the display screen. The contact also received an email from the manufacturer that a possible condition had been detected within the engine control system and a full check was needed whenever convenient with a preferred dealer. The dealer was made aware of the failure on numerous occasions but had not called the contact back. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to take the vehicle to a dealer for diagnosis. The failure mileage was approximately 1,900.
The contact owns a 2021 Genesis GV80. The contact stated while driving 35 mph, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed however, the mechanic was unable to duplicate the failure. The technician disengaged the check engine warning light senor however, the failure recurred three times. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximate 300
Genesis GV80 2.5 T standard option Forward collision warning software problem. These vehicles are sold with this option but not showing on settings, therefore it is not usable. Similar complaints are known with 21 model G80, GV80, G90. I believe this problem is recorded as T17G.
UNDER 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE AND UNDER 1000 MILES - CHECK ENGINE LIGHT KEPT COMING ON-A POSSIBLE CONDITION WITH YOUR ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM. TWO TRIPS TO SERVICE DEPARTMENT, PART IS ON BACK ORDER UNTIL JUNE. SERVICE DEPT HAS VEHICLE FOR LONGER THAN I HAVE OWN THE CAR.
PURCHASED BRAND NEW AND WITHIN 1,000 MILES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ILLUMINATED WHILE DRIVING. TOOK TO DEALER AND THEY DETERMINED IT WAS DUE TO DEFECTIVE FUEL INJECTOR SYSTEM. BACKORDER ON PARTS, SO THE CARE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP FOR AS LONG AS WE HAVE OWNED IT. WONDER IF SIMILAR ISSUE TO THAT WHICH LED TO RECALL OF THE 2021 G70?
WHILE DRIVING A LOW PRESSURE WARNING POPPED UP ON THE DASH. WHEN I GOT OUT I NOTICED THE REAR DRIVER SIDE TIRE WAS LOW. I DID A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE TIRE AND I NOTICED NO DAMAGE. WHILE ADDING AIR I NOTICED THE PRESSURE WOULD NOT GO OVER 33PSI AND I COULD HEAR AIR ESCAPING THE TIRE. THERE WAS A BULGE AT THE BEAD OF THE TIRE. THE TIRE WAS COMING OFF THE RIM. WHILE DRIVING THE DAY PRIOR I NOTICED THE VEHICLE WAS UNSTABLE. I BROUGHT THIS VEHICLE IN COUPLE OF TIMES FOR BALANCING ISSUES.
VEHICLE OCCASIONALLY BECAME UNSTABLE AND UNPREDICTABLE WHENEVER IT COMES IN CONTACT WITH OBJECTS/ BUMPS IN THE ROAD. RATTLING FROM LEFT SIDE SUSPENSION UPON RESTARTING DURING IDLE AND GO. ALSO HAVE A BALANCING ISSUE AT HIGHWAY SPEED THAT CAN BE FELT THROUGHOUT THE VEHICLE.

Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2021 Genesis G80 and GV80 vehicles equipped with 2.5-litre turbo engines. The fuel tube connecting the high pressure fuel pump to the fuel rail may not seal properly, which could allow fuel to leak.

Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2021 Elantra, Elantra HEV, Venue, Genesis GV80 and 2022 Genesis GV70 vehicles. In the event of a crash, the front driver-side and/or passenger-side seat belt pretensioner(s) may explode upon deployment.
