2021 NISSAN ROGUE. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO STRANGE NOISE COMING FROM VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER STATED THE PARTS NECESSARY FOR THE REPAIR WERE ON BACK ORDER. THE CONSUMER STATED THE DEALER EXCCEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME REPAIRING THE VEHICLE.
Back window exploded outward for no reason.
The vehicle keeps throwing a warning on the dash that states "Engine Malfunction Power reduced Service now" and the performance of the vehicle becomes severely limited. I have had two dealerships attempt to diagnose and repair the issue and the last report back is "Customer States Reduced Powertrain Message Comes on cluster, found same concern on techline data base, no repair can be made at this time. concern still under engineer review".
I contacted local Nissan Greenacres locate at, 5353 Lake Worth Rd Greenacres, FL 33463 (561) 899-4413 Refuge to do the service by saying they’re busy and short handed.even though I schedule for the schedule ahead on line and received confirmation.
I got a brand new 2021 Nissan rogue. My window exploded outward. I just got to work oneday. I'm the only person in the parking lot. I'm sitting in my driver and 15 minutes later boom. On the Nissan forum site there are several more 2021 rogue rear windows blows up. I borrowed the money to pay to get it fixed for $500. The dealership wanted to keep the car for days to do and investigation to see why it cracked. They would not offer me a loaner car need to drive to work. The warranty would have paid for window but no loaner car to drive so I had to pay out of pocket so I could get back to work. Nissan corporate will not reimburse me for the money for the window and my trunks carpet that still needs to be detailed because of small glass I can't remove from the carpet.
Came home and sunroof was fine, no incidents on road, no debris. Went to leave home approximately an hour later and sunroof was shattered. Confirmed on camera normal on arrival home then shattered, unable to visualize when actual break occurred but no other activity noted on camera during said time frame. Vehicle had not moved or been touched by anything, was secure in garage.
Sometimes when I start driving, I press the pedal and the car accelerates and stays stuck in 1st gear. I'll press the pedal more and it doesn't go faster. I have to push the the shift to D (drive) again and then the car starts driving normal
WHEN I TURN ON THE A-C, ONE VENT BLOWS HEAT AND THE OTHERS ARE BLOWING COLD AIR.
Vehicle has had 2 wheel alignments in the first 2500 miles the car drifts pulls off the road the steering is loose vague no sense of contact with the road. Rear cross alert not function almost got hit by cars moving behind me. Not sure if other safety systems even work. The tires maybe defective too.
The cheap plastic transmission drive selector broke off when I took delivery of the rental car. I was astonished to find that the thing just broke and pulled right out of its socket while I was attempting to back it up right out of the rental parking lot. I've driven cars since 1971 and I've never seen a drive selector just break off that easily before. That should just never happen. I never could get it into drive again without just turning the car off. I finally figured out how to get it into Reverse and Drive and Neutral, but that's it. There were no warning lamps and the indicator on the shift lever that's supposed to tell you it's in Park never lit up. Without it going into park, there is a real risk of the car rolling away. Turning the car off does put it into Park because it's an electronic transmission apparently. But I had to engage the parking brake when putting it into Neutral when I went to park. I'm just astonished Nissan would put something this fail prone on the road. The shift control should just never break whether it's a lever, or dial or pushbutton. I am now liable for a $400 repair job. I realize that this was just a cheap rental car, but I strongly feel that it shouldn't have happened. Wouldn't want anyone else to have this issue.

The driver’s and passenger’s side front doors and tailgate door failed to open intermittently. Additionally, the front and rearview camera failed to display intermittently. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, but the dealer could not replicate the failure. The dealer informed the contact that they would be contacted when the replacement radio arrived. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was opened and transferred to arbitration. The manufacturer also sent out a specialist from California to test drive the vehicle, but the specialist refused to test drive the contact's vehicle. The failure mileage was approximately 400.
A Pillar water leak on both driver and passenger side leaking into vehicle, noticeable water damage, possible sunroof drain or roof rail issue. Appears to be a known issue to dealer but blame user error for using car washes.
When we added gas, locked pump in gas door, when full it didn’t kick off. The gas ran out inside to the wheel well creating a fire hazard, I took it in for my first servicing and they couldn’t find a problem (I attached a copy of a recall for this years Rogue for this problem). 09-28-21, my 2021 (3,200 miles)Nissan Rogue stalled at the light, it wouldn’t restart and we had to push it out of traffic. Nissan has been sued and recalled the Transmission for all there Models, I filed a complaint over my Nissan Altima having delayed excel-oration as complaints and with repeated class action suits known to Nissan. Nissan continues to put falty transmissions in there vehicles endangering lives.

The vehicle was at the dealer overnight to have the battery recharged. The issue was corrected however, the failure recurred several times. The vehicle was currently at the dealer for diagnosis and repairs. The manufacturer was made aware and a case was opened. The contact stated that the manufacturer contacted the dealer and was informed that the failure could not be diagnosed. The failure mileage was approximately 1,600.
On 7/23/21, I leased a 2021 Nissan Rogue SV AWD at Nissan of Streetsboro, Ohio. I leased the vehicle because I felt the newly designed Rogue looks good and drives smoothly. Unfortunately, during a recent long-distance trip from Ohio to Florida between 7/24 and 8/3 on interstate multi-lane highway I-77 and I-95 for a total of 2,500 miles, I uncovered a serious safety defect that is not possible to spot during the local test drive and it prompted me to make this report. The near accident-causing problem occurred on three occasions when the cruise control and intelligent lane intervention (I-LI) were enabled simultaneously at high speed (60~70mph). The incident occurred when I passed a big truck on the lane next to me, andthe entire Rogue got pulled towards that truck! What had happened was that the intelligent lane intervention system (I-LI) is designed to keep the vehicle in lane automatically. But when the truck next lane made a mistake and crossed line into my lane, I had to pull away from it, but then the intelligent lane intervention (I-LI) system failed to recognize the danger and forced my vehicle back in lane while the truck was still there, allowing my vehicle onto a collision course at high speed. I had since made the report to Nissan Consumer Affair. And the Nissan dealer sent the tech person out to drive along side of me, and he fully agreed that it is a dangerous problem. However, to my utter surprise, the case manage at Nissan Consumer Affair closed the case simply because that's how the feature was designed and no damage had occurred to the vehicle. I felt obligated and determined not to let this dangerous defect cause anyone's life. So, I contacted Nissan America corporate office on 8/31. They only had someone call me back to acknowledge receipt of my letter. No actions had been taken since. I am still driving this unsafe leased vehicle, and the lease is for 3 years. I think it's illegal to lease an unsafe vehicle to a customer.
A-Pillars on both driver and passenger side are leaking water. this may cause mold issue during winter and harmful for the passenger of the vehicle.
When cornering the car losses strength and takes a few seconds to continue driving normally. The problem is intermittent. First visit to the dealer the problem “was addressed” because they repaired a voluntary recall for the ABS. The problem still persists and is currently at the dealer.
The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that the back over prevention camera malfunctioned and the vehicle lost the safety feature. The contact stated that the warning light was displayed. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer and diagnosed the camera needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure however, no further assistance was provided. The approximate failure mileage was 3,000.
Exiting a parking lot 6:45 pm 9/16/21, after braking and shifting gears from reverse to drive, the vehicle took off at top speed without my depressing the gas pedal. I negotiated a right turn with great difficulty because of high speed and pulled off to the side of the next block, braked hard, stopped, and turned off the engine. Each time I tried to restart the engine it roared into high speed (speedometer flew instantly to 140 mph) and the vehicle lurched forward without my touching the gas pedal. I repeated attempts at normal start several times; each time the roar and lurch recurred. I turned off everything and called a friend to pick me up. By the time she arrived about ten minutes later, I heard a loud pop/click in my otherwise totally silent vehicle and looked down to see the gas pedal rising up from the floor. I was then able to start it normally and drive a few blocks home to my garage. Today I have contacted a large dealership (not the smaller one where I bought this new vehicle off the showroom floor 6 months ago) to see if incidents similar to this incident had occurred with their customers. The receptionist canvassed 4 service techs who had heard of no such thing. (The last time this happened to my knowledge was with Lexus and Camry in 2007, when 5 people died in high speed highway crashes in California and the gas pedal assemblies were recalled. Toyota attributed the gas pedal malfunction to floor mats at the time. Congressional hearings were held.) The floor mats in my vehicle are rubber trays molded to the shape of the individual interior. They cannot move or impede the gas pedal in any way. My vehicle has been serviced by the dealership on schedule since purchase March 10, and the monthly vehicle report--testing conducted remotely--I receive by email finds nothing wrong with any component. However, the highly advertised safety and convenience features of this 2021 vehicle expired on September 10 and are now available only by paid subscription
What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The roof rail has a clip where it attaches to the body, water can leak in there causing leaking in the headliner of the car. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Water damage, possibly mold growth. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? No Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? No
The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while moving off from a complete stop, the vehicle stalled without warning. The contact stated that there was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with needing the fuel pump replaced. The vehicle was repaired. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V068000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and informed the contact that they were unable to assist. The failure mileage was approximately 3,300.

Second rear bumper part of main rear bumper Gaps found between both bumpers defective or grips/ hooks gap. Create noise vibrating. Also knock sound came from steeribg when its park and put in drive or reverse.
The contact owns a 2021 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated that while driving in local traffic, the RPM abruptly increased without warning. The contact turned off the vehicle and waited a few minutes. The contact restarted the vehicle and immediately the RPM increased independently. The failure was experienced three times. The contact had the vehicle towed to the dealer. The dealer performed a diagnostic test that was unable to locate a failure code. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacture was contacted. The failure mileage was 1,433.
First problem occurred on Sunday, August 15, 2021 (Mileage: 4,514) when the dashboard displayed: "Engine Malfunction, Power Reduced, Service Now" Warning light came on. The same day, I left a VM with Service Manager at CONICELLI dealership (as well sent pic and video of another repeat problem w/the front passenger window) who called me back the next morning stating if the WARNING message is off its okay to drive it to dealership in which I did on 8/16/2021 (by the way, when arriving the warning did not display, but again I had taken picture) After having my vehicle for a little over any hour I was told they had to call NISSAN about the problem and they were instructed to replace a sensor, the gear shift, and battery (since I had been having problems with starting the vehicle, it takes 2-3 "PUSH START" before the vehicle turns on. Now because it will take about 3 weeks for all the parts to come in it okay for me to drive the vehicle since the warning light went off. I said that I DID NOT feel safe driving the vehicle and want to be placed in a rental until they can complete the repairs. The Service Manager (Mark) said again since the light was off its okay, I just need to be concern if the comes back on begin flashing. I did not think it should be driven until the repairs was done because it is an unsafe condition for me and everyone else on the road. But I took the vehicle. The next morning the light came back on and stayed (Mileage: 4,594) on for the enter 45 minute drive and it did not drive well (it was sluggish). I called and complained to NISSAN HQ and Service Manager, Mark at CONICELLI. They only want to repair the sensor and battery because they have those parts and call me when the gear shift comes in and I return to get that fix. I was like that's unacceptable, I don't want a partial fix I want the problem fully fixed and I want a rental while YOU wait all the parts. He wants me in rental but none available, YET I reserved a rental after R call.
This alerted while driving. Washed the car 4 times to make sure there was no dust interference. Two weeks and the system is still not working. Does not allow me to use anything that has to do with the AEB system. I believe it is the main sensor. No automatic headlight diming option. Cruise controll doesn't work with systems.
Purchsed a new 2021 Rouge SL, I had the car for 2 days and the check engine light came on, I took it to the service center where all they did was clear the code. The very next day the car would not go into any gear and the check engine light came on again, this time they are saying it is the filler neck to the fuel tank. The rear seats also will not let down unless you push against the back of the seat and pull the lever hard, then had issues of the latch not locking the seat in a upright position unless you basically push the seat hard.
5 days after buying the car when you turn it on. An alert of FAILURE IN THE MOTOR LACK OF ENERGY TAKE TO SERVICE. He took him to where he was bought, they checked everything was fine but he did not understand why that notice came out. moderately to call to give me an answer but they did not call me. Weeks passed and the car began to show warnings on the screen, a yellow wrench, a yellow exclamation point, lack of oil, perform an oil change with only 1000 miles, the parking sensor is constantly activated while driving, the vehicle It turns off, it was taken back to where it was bought, they reviewed it and did a re-programming, when I went to pick up a car from the workshop I turned it on and the car turned off and the alarm sounded.
We bought our 2021Nissan Rogue SE from Fuccillo Nissan of Clearwater, 15232 US-19, Clearwater, FL, (727-507-3200) on May 5, 2021.Our Rogue had 400+ miles on the odometer at the time we received. On June 7, 2021 the air bag dash light came on. An appointment was made for service of the airbags on June 10, 2021. At the time of pick up the airbag dash light was off. It turned back on June 14, 2021. In a call to Fuccillo Service Department the service tech informed us that because the airbag dash light was on the airbags were disabled. We had a major trip planned to attend a wedding in PA that we were driving to. Since the airbags were disabled driving our Rogue on a 3000+ mile trip would not be safe. We were put in a position of renting a vehicle for our trip. On June 15, 2021 we left our Rogue at Fuccillo Nissan of Clearwater for repair of this safety issue. Today is July 14, 2021 and our Rogue is still at the dealership waiting for the arrival of a seat belt clip which may fix the airbag issue. We have started a claim Case# 44081404 with Nissan Consumer Assistance requesting replacement of Rogue with a new 2021 Nissan Rogue comparably equipped as the new 2021 Nissan Rogue we purchased on May 5, 2021.
I had just filled up my tank and was leaving the local gas station. My car would not move. This was not the result of the gas I just put in it. Additionally, the electrical display on the dashboard was wreaking havoc. It told me to put my foot on the break to start my car, even though the car had to be running to have the blue tooth connected and me speaking on the phone with the car door wide open. Best of all, the assistance button to call for help, wouldn't work because it wouldn't start. The car has less than 3K miles on it, it had to be towed to the dealership. Because my car is so new I was told the part is on back order. They are waiting on a fuel pump in hopes of keeping the car running to find out what is causing the electrical issues. I waited 30 years to get a new car, and now I am afraid of it. Looking at the reviews and troubles other have had with theirs is disheartening.
1. Rattling noise. Front driver door rattle around the window switch area (happens in some temperature like early morning, late night time, and driving on rough road). Center dash near the ac vent and hazard light area (happens driving on rough road at night time when the car cools down). Front passenger door rattles happen driving on all rough road. I think I hear something from the sun roof too or maybe it’s coming from the passenger side. 2. Passenger door sound like there is something loose around the mirror area. Just Park the car. You can hear it outside at night time when you close the door with normal force. 3. Driver side under the kick panel there is a plastic pieces not putting together right. It looks like it falling apart. 4.Driver door there is a little hole on the inside leather. I notice it when the car is like 2 days old when I was washing the car. 5. On the driver side fender is making noise when you push on it when the car is parked and at lower temperature time. 6. The engine oil thing keeps showing up. Sometime it says service due now or sometime it says service due soon. (First time it happened at 151 miles into this new car. Second time around 300 miles then around 500 miles then 1264 miles into the car then 1387 miles then 1779 miles then 2225 miles then 2477 miles). 7. The AC sync button light does not turn off when tri-zone ac is not in sync. 8. The AC light is not on when on auto mode. 9. The new Nissan digital dashboard at night time light does not dime right. there is a software issue. 10. propilot assist will pull the car to the left if there is a car next to my left. If there is a car on my right then it will pull me to the right.

MY HUSBAND WENT TO ASSIST OUR SON WHO WAS BEHIND WHEEL AND NOW BELIEVED THE CAR TO BE IN PARK. WHEN MY HUSBAND WENT TO GET BEHIND WHEEL AND MY SON WAS GETTING OUT, CAR STARTED ROLLING BACKWARD GETTING CLOSE TO OUR NEIGHBOR'S GARAGE DOOR.
