Summary

I have a 2021 Nissan Rogue in the collision shop (highly reputable corporation) for rear door scratch repair. When customer dropped off stated that her front door would not open from inside or outside. It only had 702 miles on it and still with the drive out tag. Once the door was able to get open after having to remove trim panels and such, noticed that the front drivers door release cable was too long and kept popping out of the handle base on door. Pulled the entire lock assembly and base out and works just fine, because there’s no pressure on the cable. Once installed back into vehicle, after 3 or 5 handle pulls, the handle would not unlock anymore once again. Noticed again that the release cable popped out once again out of the base. After repeating the whole process 3 times with the same result, I am now writing this concern. It would be devastating if a actual accident did occur and the cable popped off again and customer couldn’t escape out of her vehicle

Summary

Sensors that stop the car reversing if someone is behind them malfunction and you cannot reverse. Sensors that are meant to slow car for fwd collision do not work at all, or stay on with no obstruction causing you not to be able to drive. Dealer stated issue when temp is below 35 degrees and reset, issue not fixed. Nissan rep states no issues with car take to dealer. Multiple other people with issue on a group page. I hit a deer at 15mph the sensor never detected anything or stopped car. Nissan rep stated it was to stop.car for pedestrian not a deer.
