While driving sometimes I would have to step harder than normal on the brakes to get the vehicle to slow down for some reason felt like it wasn't responding well. I feel the fuel pump isn't running properly. When I was at a stop light and even while driving several time I would accelerate and would feel like it wasn't reasoning to me pressing on the gas pedal. Please help get this fixed almost crashed!! Multiple times.
While at a stop light, we heard a very loud popping sound that came from above us. We instantly got out of the car and realized that the sunroof exploded. It seemed out of no where. There was a very large hole in the sunroof and there were pieces of glasswork everywhere.
The paint on my car has started to chip away and will eventually result in rust. I have contacted Honda multiple times and have heard back zero times.

WHENEVER I STEP ON THE BRAKES WHILE DRIVING ON A BUMPY ROAD OR ANY TYPE OF BUMP THE BRAKE PEDAL JITTERS HEAVILY FEELING LIKE THE BRAKES GIVE OUT FOR THAT FEW SECONDS. SCARES ME TO THINK THAT THE BRAKES MIGHT GIVE OUT OR STOP WORKING.
I TRIED TO SWERVE TO AVOID HITTING THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME
WHILE DRIVING I NOTICED A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR. TOOK IT IN AND HONDA CHANGED OUT MY SHOCKS. I WENT IN A FEW MONTHS LATER AND THE EQUIPMENT THEY PUT ON IS NOW LEAKING AND THE LOUD NOISE IS BACK. HONDA NOW REFUSES TO DO ANYTHING WITH THIS PART BEING A 50-60,000 MILE PART AND I HAVE NOT DRIVEN THAT FAR.
DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEED, THE CAR LOST POWER AND WOULD NOT DRIVE OVER 40 MPH. I BROUGHT IT TO THE DEALER AND WAS TOLD THE TRANSMISSION HAD METAL SHAVING IN THE FLUID AND THE TRANSMISSION WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED.
MY 2018 HONDA HR-V REAR BRAKES ARE WEARING UNEVENLY. IS THIS RELATED TO RECALL #18V777000 ON THE REAR BRAKE CALIPERS WITH INADEQUATE CYLINDER LINING? THE VEHICLE PASSED A NEW YORK STATE INSPECTION IN OCTOBER 2020.
THE PAINT ON MY 2018 HONDA HR-V IS CHIPPING ON ALMOST EVERY SURFACE OF THE VEHICLE. IT STARTED ON THE ROOF, WHICH HAS TURNED INTO ABOUT A 2FT IN LENGTH SURFACE, AND IT IS NOW PEELING ON ALL 4 DOORS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER POHANKA HONDA LOCATED AT 1772 RITCHIE STATION CT, CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD 20743 WHO DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE FAILURES WERE RELATED TO A PREVIOUS REPAIR PERFORMED UNDER THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 20V314000 (FUEL SYSTEM). NO FURTHER INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 33,000.
RCV'D RECALL NOTICE AT END OF JULY FOR FUEL PUMP MODULE WITH 'OUT OF SPECIFICATION IMPELLERS. OVERTIME, THESE IMPELLERS MAY ABSORB AN EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF FUEL AND DEFORM. A DEFORMED IMPELLER MAY CAUSE THE FUEL PUMP TO STOP WORKING'. DID NOT RECEIVE NOTIFICATION UNTIL THE END OF JULY 2020 WHEN THE RECALL WAS SET IN MAY 2020. DEALER WHERE I PURCHASED VEHICLE WAS UNAWARE OF THE RECALL AND CHECKED IN THE BEGINNING OF AUGUST SAYING THE PARTS WERE NOT YET RELEASED BY HONDA. FINALLY, ON 8/26/20 I CONTACTED CORPORATE WHO INDICATED THE PART HAD BEEN RELEASED A FEW WEEKS PRIOR. DEALER PUT IN A NEW FUEL PUMP WHICH APPARENTLY FIXES THE PROBLEM BUT UPON PICKING IT UP THE INSIDE OF THE VEHICLE SMELLED VERY STRONG OF GASOLINE. THE HONDA MECHANIC REASSURED IT WAS JUST FUMES FROM THE REPAIR SINCE THEY ACCESS PUMP TO THE FUEL TANK FROM INSIDE THE VEHICLE . HOWEVER, ON THE ROUGHLY 20 MILE RIDE HOME THE SMELL OF GASOLINE GOT WORSE SO MUCH THAT WE HAD TO ROLL THE WINDOWS DOWN BECAUSE WE WERE GETTING A HEADACHE AND OVER TAKEN BY THE GASOLINE SMELL. WE STOPPED AT A GAS STATION TO FILL THE VEHICLE TANK WHICH WAS DOWN TO ABOUT 1/4 TANK. WHEN THE GAS ATTENDANT FILLED THE TANK ALL THE GAS STARTED LEAKING OUT FROM UNDER THE CAR. CAR WAS PUSHED AWAY FROM THE PUMP. GAS CONTINUED TO POUR FROM UNDERNEATH AS A STEADY STREAM THEN AFTER ABOUT A HALF HOUR TO A DRIP. VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO DEALER WHO THE NEXT DAY THOUGHT THE WING NUT TO HOLD THE PUMP GASKET LOOSENED AND ASSURED IT WAS FIXED. THEY FILLED THE TANK DROVE IT , SAID IT WAS FINE. I LEFT IT OVERNIGHT, AND THE NEXT DAY THEY CHECKED THE VEHICLE AND SAW GASOLINE STILL WAS LEAKING OUT FROM AN UNDETERMINED AREA UNDER THE VEHICLE . WHY WAS THE PART NOT RELEASED FOR SO LONG?HONDA REPAIR GARAGE HAS NOT YET DETERMINED WHERE THE LEAK IS AND WHAT IS DEFECTIVE AT THE TIME THIS IS WRITTEN 3 DAYS AFTER THE RECALL 'REPAIR'
VIN: [XXX] YEAR: 2018 MAKE: HONDA MODEL: HR-V WHILE DRIVING THROUGH TOWN AT AROUND 35 MPH, THE CAR STARTED DOING A PULSATING SENSATION. AS WE GOT UP TO HIGHWAY SPEED AND DRIVING FROM (08/08/2020), BOISE, IDAHO TO BELLEVUE WASHINGTON THE "ORANGE LIGHT" CAME ON AND STARTED FLASHING AND LOST ALL POWER. PULLED OVER "SAFELY" ON THE SIDE OFF THE ROAD TO LET THE ENGINE COOL DOWN FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR. THERE WAS NO LIGHT THAT CAME ON INDICATING THAT THE ENGINE WAS OVERHEATING. (08/10/2020) HONDA OF KIRKLAND HAS HAD THE HRV FOR 1 WEEK NOW, AND THEY SAY THAT THEY CANNOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR "NO CODES". WE ASKED THE "SERVICE ADVISOR THAT WORKS FOR HONDA OF KIRKLAND" IF IT IS SAFE AND OKAY TO DRIVE THE CAR, HE TOLD US IT IS SAFE AND OKAY TO DRIVE THE HRV. WE PICKED UP THE CAR, AND AGAIN WE FILL THE SAME PULSATION/HESITATION ISSUE AS BEFORE. THEY STATED THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND ANY CODES, EVEN THOUGH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS FLASHING WHEN THIS HAPPENED. THEY ALSO STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION FLUID WAS DARK IN COLOR, AND TO ONLY CHANGE THE TRANSMISSION FLUID ONLY WHEN THE CARS COMPUTER MAINTENANCE INDICATOR SAYS TO. (NOTE THE MAINTENANCE INDICATOR NEVER CAME ON INDICATING TO SERVICE THE TRANSMISSION, BASED OFF THE CODE THAT WOULD COME ON THE DASH). THE CV TRANSMISSION ON MY 2018 HR-V EXHIBITS AN OSCILLATORY INCREASING AND DECREASING SPEED BEHAVIOR AT AROUND 2500 ENGINE RPM WHEN UNDER MINIMAL LOAD, I.E.; GOING UP A SMALL HILL. THIS IS PROMINENT ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN GOING UP A VERY SLIGHT GRADE UNDER STEADY STATE THROTTLE, BUT ALSO NOTICEABLE AT LOW SPEED, LIKE 15 MPH, WHEN GOING UP A LITTLE BIT STEEPER HILL, LIKE MY DRIVEWAY. I HAD COMPLAINED REPEATEDLY TO HONDA DEALERS AND THE FACTORY ABOUT THIS, BUT THE TECHS WERE JUST DRIVING THE VEHICLE AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD AND DIDN'T NOTICE THE ISSUE BECAUSE THEY WEREN'T IN THE REGIME WHERE IT HAPPENS. THIS WILL CAUSE EXCESSIVE WEAR IN THE TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS DUE TO THE SLIDING OF THE CONNECTING CHAIN ACROSS THE VARIABLE DIAMETER DRUMS IT RIDES ON, EVENTUALLY LEADING TO PREMATURE TRANSMISSION FAILURE WHICH CAN EASILY BE A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE FROM MULTIPLE CONSIDERATIONS. THE CASE NUMBER THAT AMERICAN HONDA GENERATED FOR THIS TRANSMISSION "HUNTING" ISSUE WAS 09398275 REPORTED TO HONDA ON 3/5/19 (I USED THAT DATE BELOW BECAUSE THE CONDITION HAS BEEN CONSTANT WITH NO SPECIFIC FAILURE POINT)
TPMS LIGHT COMES ON FOR A FEW SECONDS AFTER THE CAR TURNS ON. THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME THE TIRES OR ROTATED OR REPLACED. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES BUT ALL THEY DO IS RESET IT BUT THAT NEVER SOLVES THE PROBLEM. THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING ON AND OFF FOR OVER A YEAR
AT AROUND 55K MILES I WAS ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN MY CAR BUCKED TWICE AND THEN SWITCHED INTO NEUTRAL, I PULLED OVER AND TURNED THE CAR OFF THEN ON AGAIN AND ALL THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH STAYED ON BUT I COULD SWITCH GEARS, I CALLED HONDA THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN AND THEY SAID IT WAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE PARKING BRAKE SENSOR AND PULLEY SYSTEM, THEY REPLACED IT AND SENT ME ON MY WAY. NOW 4 MONTHS LATER AT AROUND 65K MILES I'M DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AGAIN AND MY CAR JUST STARTS REVVING LIKE CRAZY AND SWITCHES INTO NEUTRAL. I PULL OFF THE HIGHWAY AGAIN, TURN THE CAR OFF AND TURN IT BACK ON AND ALL THE LIGHTS STAY LIT UP AGAIN. I CALL HONDA AND THEY SAY TO BRING IT IN AGAIN. THIS TIME THEY TELL ME METAL SHAVINGS GOT INTO THE TRANSMISSION (DUE TO THE SAME PARTS THAT WERE JUST REPLACED) BUT THAT I AM NOW NOT UNDER WARRANTY AND WILL HAVE TO PAY 40% OF THE COST TO REPLACE THE TRANSMISSION ON MY CAR THAT IS JUST OVER 2 YRS OLD. I LOOKED IT UP AND THIS IS SUCH A COMMON ISSUE THAT THEY HAVE EVEN CHANGED THE TRANSMISSIONS IN THE NEWER MODELS AND WHEN THEY REPLACE MY TRANSMISSION THEY WILL BE PUTTING THE NEWER VERSION IN. BUT THEY STILL DON'T WANT TO RECOGNIZE THAT IT IS AN ISSUE WITH THE CAR ITSELF AND WANT ME TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS.

I FILLED OUT THIS FORM AND TRIED TO SUBMIT, BUT SAW AN ERROR ACCORDING TO YOUR SYSTEM. I HAVE A PAINT PROBLEM WITH MY 2018 HONDA HRV. I SEE ONLINE THAT THERE ARE PAINT PROBLEMS WITH THE 2018 HRV, FIT, & ACCORD. THE RECALL THAT I SAW WAS FOR A DIFFERENT COLOR THAN MY VEHICLE. WHAT I ALSO SAW WAS THAT THE MANUFACTURER PUT TOO THIN OF A CLEAR COAT ON THE VEHICLES. THE DEALERSHIP IS CLAIMING THAT MY PROBLEM IS NOT COVERED BECAUSE IT IS AN ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUE...TREE SAP OR BIRD DROPPINGS, WHICH IS THE OUT THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO THEM. GUESSING THAT THE MANUFACTURER HAS TOLD THEM TO USE THIS TO DISALLOW CLAIMS. THIS IS CLEARLY A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. I HAVE NEVER HAD A VEHICLE THAT HAS DONE THIS BECAUSE OF BIRD DROPPINGS OR TREE SAP. I HAVE ONLY HAD ONE VEHICLE THAT A MAKER VOLUNTEERED TO FIX... THAT WAS A TOYOTA VEHICLE. AL, OF THE REST OF THE MANUFACTURERS WANT TO MAKE YOU TAKE THEM TO COURT TO GET RESOLVE. I AM GIVING AN ESTIMATE OF THE TIME/MILEAGE OF THE NOTICE OF THE PROBLEM.
I PURCHASED THE CAR WITH 4,500 MILES IN IT IN MARCH 2019. I STARTED DRIVING IT IN MID APRIL ON HIGHWAY I 71, SINCE I HAVE TO COMMUTE TO MY WORK EVERYDAY FROM MILE 169 TO 119. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 14,000 AND HAD TO GET IT SERVICED AND THE TIRES WERE ROTATED TWO DAYS BEFORE THE INCIDENT. THE DAY OF THE INCIDENT WAS JULY 26TH 2019. I WAS DRIVING IN I 71 IN THE CENTRAL LANE WHEN THE SIGN OF LOW PRESSURE IN TIRES AND THEN I LOST CONTROL OF MY CAR, I TRIED TO USE THE BREAKS WHICH MADE IT EVEN MORE UNSTEADY. WITHOUT USING BREAKS, I MADE MY WAY TO THE RIGHT LANE AS BEST AS POSSIBLE AND WAITED UNTIL THE VEHICLE STOPPED BY ITSELF. WHEN THE SPEED WAS SLOW ENOUGH, I PULLED OVER TO THE RIGHT SHOULDER AND WAIT UNTIL IT COMPLETELY STOPPED. THIS WAS IN MILE 140.0 GOING SOUTH. AS SOON AS I PARKED TWO MORE CARS STOPPED IN ORDER TO FIGURE OUT IF I WAS OK. AND BOTH MENTIONED THAT MY TIRE FLEW AWAY AND HIT THEIR CARS, BUT DID NOT DAMAGE THEM. WHEN I STEPPED OUT OF MY VEHICLE I NOTICED THAT I WAS MISSING THE FRONT RIGHT TIRE (PASSENGER SIDE) TIRE COMPLETELY BUT THE RIM WAS INTACT SINCE PART OF THE RUBBER OF THE TIRE REMAINED. TIRE WAS MICHELIN RADIAL X TUBELESS M+S 215/55R17. I MADE A COMPLAINT TO MICHELIN WHICH ONLY WERE WILLING TO PAY 75% FOR A NEW TIRE. MY FINAL DECISION WAS TO CHANGE ALL THE TIRES AND SWITCH TO GOODYEAR BRAND SINCE MICHELIN COULD NOT WARRANTY THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCTS AND WILL NOT ASSURE THAT THE OTHER 3 TIRES WERE NOT DEFECTIVE

INFESTATION OF YELLOW SAC SPIDERS FOUND IN AIR CONDITIONING DUCTS. SPIDERS ENTER DUCTS THROUGH TINY CREVICES IN CORNERS BETWEEN FRONT WINDOW AND DASHBOARD. SPIDERS WERE SEEN ENTERING AND EXITING CREVICES WHILE DRIVING AND PARKED.
I WAS DRIVING AT AROUND 40 MPH AND PREPARING TO STOP AT THE STOPLIGHT. HOWEVER, UPON GRADUALLY PRESSING ON MY BRAKES, MY CAR WOULD NOT STOP. INSTEAD, IT MADE LOUD NOISES WHILE STILL RUNNING. I HAD TO PRESS IT DOWN ALL THE WAY ONE OR TWO MORE TIMES FOR MY CAR TO ACTUALLY STOP. ONLY THEN WOULD IT STOP ABRUPTLY. I NOTICED MY MAKE WAS BEING RECALLED FOR BRAKE ISSUES, HOWEVER, MY SPECIFIC VIN [XXX] WAS NOT MARKED FOR RECALL. WHEN I APPLIED BREAKS TO STOP THE CAR AT A STOP SIGN THE VEHICLE FAILED TO COME TO STOP AS EXPECTED AND CAUSE A DANGEROUS ACCIDENT. UNABLE TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE I ENDED UP CRASHING ON TO THE VEHICLE IN THE FRONT. THE VEHICLE SUFFERED SERIOUS DAMAGED MAKING IT A TOTAL LOSS.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE BODY DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 9,800.

THE CONTACT CALLED BAY RIDGE HONDA AT 718- 836-4600 (LOCATED AT 8801 4TH AVE, BROOKLYN, NY 11209) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE AND WAS NOT ABLE TO CONFIRM WHEN THE PARTS WERE TO BECOME AVAILABLE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
HONDA HR-V REAR CAMERA CANNOT SEE IN THE ABSOLUTE DARK CAUSING A SAFETY HAZARD BACKING UP. IN THE DAYTIME IT'S FINE BUT ON A DARK STREET ABSENT OF LIGHTS ALL YOU SEE IS A WHITE-OUT BLIZZARD ON SCREEN WHEN IN REVERSE.. SPOKE TO HONDA SERVICE AS WELL AS HONDA HQ AND THEY TELL ME THAT'S ALL THEY CAN DO. NO NIGHT VISION.
ABOUT A MONTH AND A HALF AFTER PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE I TOOK MY FAMILY (WIFE AND KIDS) ON A WEEKEND TRIP. IT WAS ABOUT AN 8-HOUR DRIVE THERE AND 8 HOURS BACK. ABOUT 3 HOURS INTO THE TRIP MY LEFT LEG STARTED ACHING WHERE IT MEETS THE SEAT CUSHION. I MADE MENTION OF IT TO MY WIFE AND DECIDED TO PUSH ON WITH OUR JOURNEY. ABOUT 20 MINUTES LATER THE PAIN HAD RADIATED INTO MY LEFT HIP, AND LOWER BACK. LUCKILY I HAD A PILLOW IN THE CAR THAT WAS BROUGHT FOR THE KIDS TO LEAN ON AS THEY USUALLY NAP ON THESE LONG TRIPS. I HAVE SPOKEN WITH THE DEALER AND HONDA CORPORATE. CORPORATE WANTS A REPAIR ESTIMATE TO MOVE FORWARD, AND THE DEALER WILL NOT PROVIDE ME WITH ONE BECAUSE AFTER A LENGTHY TEST WITH ANOTHER HR-V IT WAS CONCLUDED THAT THE ISSUE EXISTS IN ALL HR-V MODELS AND THEREFORE IS A MANUFACTURER DEFECT/ISSUE. THIS PUTS ME BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE. I WISH I COULD DO WHAT OTHERS HAVE AND JUST TRADE THIS THING IN LEAVING HONDA AND LOOKING AT IT AS THE WORST DECISION I EVER MADE AND MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE, BUT I DO NOT HAVE THAT OPTION AT THE MOMENT.

THERE WAS NO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE PRESENT AT THE TIME. THE CONTACT WAS PROVIDED WITH A LOANER VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND REMAINED AT THE DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 5. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE.

I HAD THE CAR FOR 9 MONTHS NOW, ONLY HAD 20000 MILES ON IT, WHENEVER I MAKE SHORT TRIPS LIKE 3 MILES, THEN TURN OFF THE ENGINE, REST FOR LIKE 6 MINS OR LESS, THEN TRY TO START THE CAR AGAIN; IT WILL NOT GO THROUGH.. I WENT TO AUTOZONE TO TEST THE BATTERY, AND THEY SAID THAT ITS WORKING FINE. THE BATTERY HAS POWER, BUT FOR SOME REASON IT CANT MAKE THE CAR START. ALL OF THE LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD IS WORKING, EVEN HEADLIGHTS, AND ALL CONTROLS. BUT IT CANT MAKE THE CAR START, I KNOW THERE'S NO PROBLEM WITH THE ALTERNATOR AND BATTERY. IM HOPING THAT THERE'S NO PROBLEM WITH THE STARTER..
THE TWO FRONT WINDOWS AND REAR WINDOW HAVE FLOWER-LIKE PATTERNS WHEN YOU WEAR SUNGLASSES. I WAS REQUIRED TO WEAR SUNGLASSES BY MY EYE DOCTOR. THESE FLOWER-LIKE PATTERNS AFFECT MY VIEW TO BOTH SIDES WHILE I AM DRIVING OR MAKE THE TURNS. THE REAR VIEW IS AFFECTED BY THESE PATTERNS ALSO. THE WHOLE WINDOWS ARE LIKE THAT. I CAN ONLY PICTURE IT FROM MY SUNGLASSES. YOU HAVE TO IMAGE THE WHOLE WINDOWS WITH THESE PATTERNS.
I WAS EXPERIENCING AN ISSUE WITH A BRAND NEW LEASE I ACQUIRED 3 MONTHS AGO. THE SENORS ON THE DASHBOARD LIT UP AND THE STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO LOCK UP WHILE DRIVING. I PHONED HONDA AROUND 10 AM AND AFTER BEING TRANSFERRED SEVERAL TIMES WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO ACCOMMODATE ME UNTIL THE CAR WAS DIAGNOSED WHICH WAS UNDERSTANDABLE. 3 DAYS LATER I WAS TOLD RODENTS CHEWED THROUGH MY WIRES IN THE ENGINE HARNESS AND IT WOULD NOT BE COVERED BY MY 3-MONTH-OLD WARRANTY. UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME, I WAS UNAWARE THAT HONDA WRAPS ALL OF ITS WIRES WITH A SOY-BASED PRODUCT THAT ATTRACTS RODENTS BUT HONDA WILL NOT COVER THE EXPENSE NOR WILL THEY RE-WRAP THE WIRES WITH A REPELLANT THAT THEY SELL UNLESS YOU PURCHASE IT FIRST.

GOT THE CAR ON OCTOBER 2017, DROVE IT OFF THE LOT BRAND NEW IS A 2018 CAR DRIVING TO MY HOUSE THE LIGHTS ON MY DASHBOARD LIGHTS UP BREAKS, MOTOR, OIL, AIR ON TIRES, ALL OF THEM LIGHT UP LIKE A CHRISTMAS TREE, I TOOK TO THE HONDA DEALER AND THE ASSISTANT MANAGER RESET THE CAR BECAUSE THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WAS CLOSED. A WEEK LATER THE LIGHTS CAME UP AGAIN. I CALL THEM AND THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IN THE CAR THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON SINCE THIS IS A NEW CAR WITH NO RECALLS. I GUESS THE RESET THE CAR AGAIN AND GAVE IT BACK TO ME. DECEMBER 2017 AGAIN THE LIGHTS CAME ON I CALLED THE DEALERSHIP NOW I'M WORRIED BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO DRIVE A CAR WHERE I DON'T KNOW IF MY BREAKS ARE WORKING OR ANY OTHER PART OF THE CAR SINCE I'M DRIVING THIS CAR EVERY DAY TO WORK. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS THE OIL PUMP THEY ORDER ONE AND CHANGED IT. HERE WE ARE ON MARCH 26, 2018, AND THE LIGHTS ARE ALL BACKLIGHTING MY DASHBOARD THERE MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THIS CAR. I AM SCARED TO DRIVE THIS CAR.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2017-2019 Acura MDX, 2017-2018 Acura MDX Sport Hybrid, 2018-2019 Honda HR-V and Honda Odyssey, and 2016 Honda HR-V vehicles. The rear brake caliper pistons may have an insufficient coating, causing gas pockets to form, reducing brake performance. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."
