Vehicle is experiencing the same malfunction as was recalled on 2019 and 2020 Range Rover Evoque's for "excessive engine cooling fan noise in the passenger compartment and eventual degradation of the engine cooling system performance." After several minutes of operation, the engine cooling fan begins running at an abnormally loud volume and despite adequate engine temperature levels, does not stop running until operation of the vehicle has ceased. After much research regarding this issue I have found it to be apparent in several Jaguar and Land Rover vehicle models apart from the 2019 and 2020 Range Rover Evoque. One such consumer stated the fan spun in such excess that it dislodged and powered through the front hood of the vehicle which could have resulted in serious bodily harm. The problem has been reproduced with a service technician and is awaiting inspection by Jaguar Land Rover in Honolulu who have acknowledged by telephone that this is a known issue. The vehicle has not been inspected by police or insurance representatives. No warning lamps or sensors have indicated a malfunction of any sort, at any time.
