Passenger seat head rest wobbly. It may fall off if adjusted.
On several separate occasions my brakes locked up while driving my 2018 Nissan Rouge Sport, including yesterday January 2, 2022, luckily I was trying to leave a gas station and not on the interstate like the prior incident. I didn't understand what was happening this morning January 3rd, when I started researching the strange orange indicator light that keeps displaying and why my brakes keeps locking and I can't do anything until they release themselves. I found several complaints of people having the same issue as I. This was a scary situation, I was 91 miles from home when this brake incident occurred again. I looked up recalls and there is no recall for the braking malfunction for my vehicle, I can't keep playing Russian Roulette with this vehicle and my life, I drive my 5 year old grandson in this car. Now that I know the issue I'm scared of driving for fear of having an accident and worst case scenario me or my grandson being killed if the brakes locked on the highway and someone slams into the rear of the vehicle. This is definitely a safely hazzard that needs to be resolved. I can't believe I had to research to find that this was an ongoing problem that's being kept quiet. Who has to die before major issues such as this are corrected, we are consumers who put their trust in the hands of automakers and manufacturers to ensure we are purchasing safe vehicles. Like myself and so many others, our intent is to purchase good quality vehicles, which includes safety as the number one feature. My vehicle is definitely not safe and I don't want to keep putting myself or my grandson in harm's way due to no fault of our own.
I was going to take my 2018 Nissan Rouge to the dealer for my electric fan coolant because the bearings sounds like they are going but we decided to do it ourselves because they wanted over 1000.00 USA Dollars and we can't afford that. Even my local garage said it would be over 800 bucks! We started to search the internet to find out we are not the only ones with this same problem!! Lots of people are having the same problem with these cars and most of the Nissan brand. I would like to know why this hasn't been recalled. This could heat up my engine or worse case blow it up. The second compliant I have is my seatbelt doesn't work sometimes. The latch keeps getting stuck and the light is on no matter if it is buckled or not. This seems to be not under warranty? WHY it is a safety hazard. I am very disappointed in the Nissan production. I love the car but keep having these problems!
The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, the seat belt and airbag warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and another dealer McNeill Nissan (1933 US-421, Wilkesboro, NC 28697) on two separate occasions, but both dealers could not fix the failure. The second dealer McNeill Nissan (1933 US-421, Wilkesboro, NC 28697) informed the contact that they had to order an airbag tool from Japan to perform the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 18,450. The VIN was invalid. VIN Corrected 9-7-2021.
Not sure where to start with complaint.....I just bought a 2018 Nissan Rogue Sport, and talked to a key-smith about getting a duplicate Fob....was told that the 2014 - 2018 Rogues have an issue with Fobs possibly causing an malfunction in the car system, and if it did the minimum fix for it is $ 1100. (Besides the $ 350 to get another Fob). He said I would have to sign a waiver stating I understand the issue, and couldn't hold them liable. He said he see's this allot and doesn't understand why NIssan doesn't have a recall on it. Help.

WHEN I WAS DRIVING, IT WAS AS THOUGH IT HAD SLIPPED INTO NEUTRAL. I WAS ACCELERATING WHEN IT WOULDN'T ACCELERATE ANYMORE AND JUST COASTED LIKE IT WAS IN NEUTRAL. ALSO WHEN I ACCELERATE FROM A STOP, IT TOOK A MINUTE TO GO. WHEN IT DID FINALLY GO, IT WAS VERY JERKY AND I WAS ALMOST IN AN ACCIDENT.
WHEN APPROACHING AN INTERSECTION, THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS UNABLE TO BE USED, LOCKED UP. WITH NO BRAKES, THE RESULT WAS A COLLISION. THE FRONT COLLISION DETECTION THAT CONSTANTLY WARNED FALSELY ON THE DASH. THIS FAILED TO WORK PRIOR TO THE COLLISION AT THIS TIME. AUTOMATIC BRAKES DID NOT ENGAGE EITHER RESULTING IN A SERIOUS CRASH. WE TRIED TO START THE CAR AND AT THE 4TH ATTEMP IT STARTED AND I WENT HOME WITH THE ENGINE LIGHT ON. I WENT TO HAVE IT CHECK WITH A COMPUTER AND I HAVE A DIAGNOSIS OF: CODE-P1217 ENGINE OVER-TEMPERATURE CONDITION, CODE-P0090 FUEL PRESSURE REGUALTOR CONTROL CIRCUIT, CODE-P0507 IDLE AIR CONTROL SYSTEM RPM HIGHER THATN EXPECTED, CODE-P0087 FUEL RAIL/SYSTEM PRESSURE - TOO LOW.
THERE WERE CLICKING NOISES WHILE APPLYING THE BRAKE AT THE PREVIOUS STOP BEFORE THE COLLISION. ABOUT 100 YARDS BEFORE A RED LIGHT I WAS PUSHING ON THE BRAKE PEDAL BUT IT WOULD ONLY GO HALF WAY DOWN. THERE WAS NO RESPONSE ON THE BRAKES. ENDED IN COLLISION WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE

DRIVING FORWARD ON BURKE ROAD GOING AROUND A BEND THE BRAKING SYSTEM JUST LOCKED UP CAUSING THE ROUGE SPORT TO GO OFF THE ROAD CAUSING DAMAGE TO CAR. AFTER THAT THE MALFUNCTION LIGHT CAME ON. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME IT HAPPENED AND HAVE DROVE IN THE UNIT SINCE 2018 NEVER HAD ANYTHING LET THAT HAPPEN. SERVICE DEPARTMENT SAYS THEY CAN'T RUN A COMPUTER DIAGNOSE.
DRIVING ABOUT 50MPH, NOBODY ELSE ON THE ROAD (HWY 152 IN MUSTANG OK) AT AROUND 10PM. ON IT'S OWN, THE VEHICLE STARTS BEEPING, DASH FLASHES A YELLOW TRIANGLE SYMBOL AND THEN THE AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM APPLIED THE BRAKES OUT OF NOWHERE BRINGING US DOWN TO ABOUT 15 MPH BEFORE WE REGAINED CONTROL OF IT. AGAIN, THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE ON THE ROAD, EITHER DIRECTION, IN FRONT OF, BESIDE, OR BEHIND US. THERE ARE PLENTY OF STREETLIGHTS AND VISIBILITY WAS VERY CLEAR, WE DID NOT SEE AN ANIMAL, OR TRASH BLOWING ACROSS THE ROAD, OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT COULD HAVE TRIGGERED IT. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DEALER ON MONDAY BUT THE SERVICE TECH SOUNDED LIKE THEY HAD NEVER HEAR OF THIS BEFORE EVEN THOUGH THERE IS A TSB FOR IT. THEY BASICALLY JUST SAID THERE IS NO RECAL FOR IT, BUT WE'LL CHECK IT OUT.
WHILE DRIVING AT DIFFERENT TIMES OF DAY, MY 2018 NISSAN ROGUE SPORT WOULD RANDOMLY BRAKE TO COMPLETE STOP, CAUSED BY THE ACCIDENT PREVENTION SYSTEM BEING ACTIVATED FOR NO OBSTRUCTIONS IN VEHICLE'S ROUTE. THIS ALWAYS OCCURRED WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 25 TO 55 MPH SPEEDS.

EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM TRIGGERS ITSELF RANDOMLY. ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, I WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT HOURS WITH NO ROAD HAZARDS, OR OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD WITH ME, AND SUDDENLY THE WARNING EMERGENCY LIGHT COMES ON, AND MY CAR STOPS. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON 3 SEPARATE OCCASIONS IN THE 8 MONTHS I'VE HAD THE CAR.
I WAS DRIVING MY 2018 NISSAN ROGUE SPORT S AWD AND OUT OF THE BLUE ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL POP UP'S CHASSIS CONTROL SYSTEM ERROR AND AND ALL OF THE LITTLE INSTRUMENT DIAGRAMS STARTED FLASHING ON AND OFF THE RADIO AND CLOCK TURN OFF THE CAR WAS MAKING A BUZZING SOUND. SO I PULLED OVER OFF THE ROAD TOOK OUT THE MANUAL IT SAY TAKE TO A NISSAN DEALER FOR COMPLETE SCAN OF ALL THE SYSTEMS. WHICH I WILL BE DOING ON WEDNESDAY 1/8/2020, WHICH IS THE EARLIEST THAT THEY COULD SEE ME. BUT MY QUESTION IS IS THEIR AND ISSUES WITH THIS CAR BECAUSE I'VE BEEN CHECKING ONLINE AND ALOT OF PEOPLE OR REPORTING THEY HAVE ISSUSES WITH THIS SYSTEM AND NO ONE SEEMS TO BE ABLE TO GET AND ANSWER ON WHY THIS IS HAPPENING. AND IF THIS ISSUSES HAS BE GOING ON SINCE ABOUT 2016 THAT I'VE FOUND WHY HASN'T NISSAN DONE SOMETHING ABOUT IT,
